Sure Sock can hit a backhand. But if your backhand percentage is 75% and your forehand is 80% then you run around your backhand to hit the higher percentage shot. Note: The % I listed ^^^ is completely made up, just trying to illustrate the importance of playing percentage Pickleball.
@@voiceofreason9238Sure he can try and play the forehand percentage, but tactically that is a terrible idea to consistently do. At least if you’re gonna play this or tennis at a PRO level. Players are too good to not notice what you’re doing and exploit it
@@Renavatio2586Jack Sock was a world top ten doubles tennis pro and he was successful running around his backhand. At our level if I see someone running around their backhand I hit EVERYTHING to the backhand. They won't even see a forehand. Why? Percentages. :)
these guys make way too many unforced errors. also tactically conner play the wrong patterns. I counted over 50 unforced errors and 25 tactical error s
Why would anybody hit to Sock's forehand? Sock should be forced to live trying to run around to hit his forehand! Who coaches Garnett why the hell would he return his forehand to Sock's forehand! Some of these guys just run around and play doesn't seem to be any strategy involved just going to rely on talent not brains!
Enjoyable match. They both prove you can applaud your opponent and still play your game.
Jack Sock is becoming the player to watch, love those big Tennis forehands!
If all singles matches looked like this; I would be quick to watch them all! Awesome match! I want to see them battle again!
Great commentators SANS FLEMING!!
How is a former tennis pro constantly avoiding a 2 handed backhand?
Sock will have trouble getting any further than Quarter finals in singles unless he develops a consistent baseline backhand.
Yeah it's tough watching him run around to the forehand and completely whiffing the shot.
He did the same crap in tennis too and his lazy behind thinks he can still get away with it here 🤦🏾♂️
It cost him maybe 2 points but also won him 2 or 3. It's not really a weakness.
You guys are so funny. He's in control of these matches entirely, it's whether he makes his shot or not.@@Renavatio2586
awesome 👍
Gars pace is insane!!
Jack Sock won the Masters Series tennis tournament in Paris (2017?). That is a big deal.
anyone knows brand of PB ball theyre using?
Vulcan
Sock more skilled but inconsistent, this will come with more time, Sock will be #1 in world in a year from now.
People flip out on me when I say Johns will soon be #2 or 3.
They’re smiling!
What paddle type does Jack use? Shape i mean?
Invikta
LUXX Control Air Invikta, doubles up on the tungsten tape along the sides as well it looks like
Sock blew this jeez
Does sock know how to hit a backhand?

Federer should join the tour
He only plays real sports
Single games > Doubles.
So sloppy how are these two pros?
I enjoy playing pickleball and wanted to give watching it a shot. However, tbh, pro pickleball is unimpressive to me.
Does the ref really have to scream all the time, I mean seriously
That’s an American thing. Everything’s always louder there.
@@JohnSmith-xx9th oh right, I didn't realise that... makes sense

If you cant play tennis above 5.0 try pickleball. even non athletes are going pro.
Tennis players on pickle ball😂😂😂😂
I wonder who the commentators wanted? lol
Dam, that socks....
garnett looks like such a whiner. lifting his hands up after every point he loses

27:16, wow limber for a big guy
