Such a fun match!! I learned some lessons about mental toughness and never giving up 👏🏻💪🏻. Great job Lea and Hayden!! I was rooting for you the whole time 🤩
What an epic match. So glad I didn't know the outcome before I started it. Hoping the PPA makes it a trend to not post the results in the title of the youtube videos. Anyway, great announcing job by Dave and Adam. They are the best team of announcers in a strong stable of analysts. I am sure I wasn't the only one whose adrenalin kept surging as the games went into overtime again and again.
Yep. She’s very unsportsmanlike and does this all the time. She recently called a ball out during a crucial round in the 3rd set of the Women’s Doubles Quarter Finals match at the Stratusphere. (Anna Bright/Rachel Rohrabacher v Tyra Hurricane Black/Allyce Jones) and didn’t rescind her out call even after they replayed it on the screen and showed the ball was very clearly in without a shadow of doubt. Dirty little cheater if you ask me.
Anna Bright totally blew that one for them…she thinks she’s better than she actually is…she wants to play that left side but gets smoked every time and those forehands into the net are horrible…high 3rd’s I could go on forever…
Agreed. You could be forgiven if you left the room ten times and each time you came back, AB was hitting the ball into the net on a dink or a drop. From a psychology standpoint, she needs to get out of her head, and make the adjustment. When I hit even one crosscourt drop into the net, I say Geometry out loud- a reminder to myself to hit that shot farther, as if it's a hypotenuse in a triangle. (Nerd alert.)
He had opportunities with high dinks and sitters where he didn't take advantage and speed up. He also lost two points from kitchen violations. The second gave the other team their final match point. His body language and attitude are more negative than positive. Time to think about tweaking things a bit.
Gotta love a match that goes to extra points in all 3 games.

This was one of my all time favorite matches to watch
Good to see more Pros starting to wear protective eyewear 😎😎
They get hurt first then want to wear them.
Eye protection is just as important as the paddles and shoes!
I'm a 3.0 and I wear mine!
@@TheMary0831 I am good to hear that!
excelente partido, una revelación del pickleball: Hayden Patriquin
Great match full of drama and surprises. Patriquin abandoning caution and going into overdrive at 3/9 in the final game was key to victory.
Well played from both sides...love to see a youngster like Hayden to step up and dominate like that in a great match! Hats off...👊
These were some interesting pairings. I knew it was going to be good.
Watch @39:03 out-call by Bright and Johns was totally in, she calls every shot out

Best match I've seen
Game 2 8-6 that ball looked in
that was a great match!
I've been a fan of Hayden ever since McGuffin said "I don't lose to kids" after beating Big H and Anna Leigh in an MLP match a few years ago!!
Dave F. You often refer to double 8's as Snowmen, but a good snowman always has three levels!😉🤣
Excellent match. LJ has so much attitude towards her opponents, it's pretty bush league
on the first serve, wasnt that an illegal return? you have to let the ball bounce first before returning the serve??
Lea is both the Beauty and Beast!!! Pickleball hurtling goddess!!
Not AB’s best moment.
Such a weird angle this is shot, makes the court look teensy. I don't like it, why did they do that?
I love that pre-serve ritual Lea has.
I think it’s called stimming
@@Fljewgeni cant tell if this is ironic or not but this has me rolling
Just...weird😊
Melding religion and pickle
STOP PUTTING IN SO MANY COMMERCIALS!!!!!! I understand some commercials, but come on and give us a break!!!
Leave it to Anna bright to crew things up
Anna lost the match for them I think

Colin's kitchen violation to give match point didn't help.

CJ is the male Lindsay Newman. Unreal defense, barely any offense. Passive pickeball loses.
That is why Anna was doing the offense, not the best combination
