Impressive use of Vex here.. being able to define geometry using a spline ramp that controls the bounding box as a gradient (clever) and later creating black-white values to drive displacement similar to bump/normal height maps.. so clever :)
Great as usual ,maybe the only disadvantage of this method that it needs a high resolution geometry, but the real question is... Is there any way to use an external curve or spline to define the ramp shape ..as cinema 4d has this feature in there ramp (or what they call)?!
