I actually prefer it at low to medium revs than the 981 however the flat six is so much better in the high revs. I think the 718 is one of the best sounding 4 pots you can get.
I attended a Porsche Experience track day recently and drove the following on the local road track: 911 GTS, 911T, Cayman S and Boxster GTS.. The Boxster was the best handling of the bunch (of course the 911 GTS had the most power). After my stint in the Boxster someone came up and asked me what I thought of the sound..Sound? I hadn't even thought about it. I honestly didn't even notice the sound at all. I was just having too much fun driving to care.

Fairly good review. I have owned a 718 and now have a 981 Cayman. Both are great but the 718 was faster, more economical and the engine sound was fine - actually sounded great with sports mode on and sports exhaust system. The manual box wasn’t spoken about enough really and how great It is. I had a manual 718 now have a PDK 981 and both are amazing. Boxster’s are one of the few roadsters that can fit two sets of golf clubs and luggage for 2 for a weekend. The rear trunk exactly fits a Sun Mountain stand bag. Titleist’s have two short “feet” to keep the bag off the ground that hook on to golf carts and push carts. Two summer bags give you extra room for more. My buddy and I do a winter golf trip and it holds our luggage with clothes for a few days and all the cold weather gear we need.

BMW's are that Good
@@jamesjohanson7809 no, he is just a BMW fan, every true BMW fan knows that compared to the past BMW's they have lost touch with what they really symbolized before, tryin to improve the luxury/comfort bit in their cars nd that's why they lose to Benz in practically everythng speed, luxury, sales even reliability
James Johanson bmw sucks
