Thank you for showing us this house. I always enjoy your videos. It’s crazy how someone tries to sell a house that has so much water damage for so much money. That’s a money pit! It’s going to take a lot of money to fix that house. The humidity in all that cement will lead to sickness.
@@tworiversprojects I appreciate your videos immensely and they are exposing me to many places that I otherwise would not have considered. I am looking at the Alpedrinha area because I love cherries, olives, citrus and a number of English speaking RUclipsrs. However, I don't see a place or link where I can financially express my appreciation for your artistry. Will you please consider adding a link where I can at least send you the funds to buy you a coffee? ❤️
Hi Eileen. Your videos are well done and also reflect your cheerful personality. Don't be offended or take negative comments about the properties you show as being about you. Your videos are great. The actual properties plus the apparent fairness of price on the other hand, are always 'owned' by owner. You are doing a great service to everyone. 🤓 Thank you thank you
Hello Waren. Thank you for your message, glad you are enjoying the vids. Yes unfortunately the price of what the owners ask is out of my hands and also just reflects the reality of what they are asking. But no offence taking by it all, but thanks for checking in 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
The property is not worth the price unless you want to pay for the view but then again portugal is such a beautiful country with beautiful views so you dont need to pay a fortune for a view. There is to much humidity in that area. Portugal is a country to enjoy outdoor life.I would go crazy with barking dogs. You did a great job in showing the property. Will be following you.
Thankyou Dalila :) I agree with what you say, even though this village is a little gem. And I can imagine the barking dogs driving you crazy, especially since there are so many of them barking at the same time. Thanks for following!
Thank you for showing this house. It is in a very wonderful location. However, it requires so much work and rehab. I would be concerned that after a proper rehab, the property would not be valued at the total cost of the purchase and rehab. It is also very odd that the owners just left a large hole for someone to fill it in or build a pool. It makes me think of what other undisclosed problems be be existing on the property.
Hi there, you are welcome :) I can definitely understand your concern of the value after all the costs have been made. They had the idea of renovation the place into 3 different appartements with a pool. Then again if someone decided it would be a family home and they would want to live there for the rest of their lives it would maybe not be that much of a concern if they had the budget. Not exactly sure why they decided to dig the hole though🤔
@@tworiversprojects Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I am not looking to buy. Just like the videos to see the homes and areas you visit. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
Hi Eileen, My family and I are thinking of moving to central Portugal in the next year. In all of your travels, which area seems to be the nicest for the money? We’d like to have a house and garden for our dogs and growing some vegetables. Any recommendations?
Hello! Are you guys still planning on moving to Portugal? For me I am most familiar with the Central Portugal region, but if you go more north you probably get more bang for your buck. Also very beautiful, like Braga area for example. Does get a lot wetter though!
A classic example if the insane property price bubble happening in Portugal !! You would need to put at least another 250k into this to make it viable so over 400k in total ? . you can buy a stunning place in France for that (all ready to go !! ) Portugal is fast becoming the biggest property ": grift " in Europe !!
yeah you would have to put a lot of money into to make it at least livable so I think your estimate is quite right. the prices are unfortunately growing like crazy here, but I do think there are still enough other places in this area that are in far better state for less the price.
Agreed - I have been hinting at that with some of the online realtors for a bit now. They are killing their own property boom by thinking that folk will pay '1st World' renovation prices for '2nd World' ruins.

Nice property but the asking price is too high in my opinion. What I realized in Portugal that the seller will ask you a very high amount and if someone still offers a 60-70% discount, they will still accept it. You need to do your maths before making an offer. To renovate that property you still need to have a big pocket and in the end, you need to think it is still worth the money you put in.
Fantastic mountainous view,.
Small town covered by nature is always the best place to live. There's no pollution, noise from crowded car.
😄😇

Hi Gina, thankyou I am glad you are enjoying my videos! Yes, it is gonna take a loooot of money to make it even close to safe and livable.

Excellent point.. I'm good for a coffee too.

Feel the same here. Too run down for that price. Barking big no no.
I was watching …. 180 k euro is 3 times the price that is worth , just stupid to ask so much
this is beautiful
🥰

I like the animals you encounter, do you find many strays?
Lot's of cute animals here 🐶 but yes, many strays. Mostly cats and dogs.
Great video. Certainly, a house that has lots of potential, but at what cost? Lots of refurbishment is needed on this house. Amazing views. Thanks.
thanks for watching! The owner of the property has a quotation contractor's if I am correct. I can bring her in contact with you if like.

Sorry but I’m not seeing any subtitles.
Leuk. Zijn de offertes van de aannemer ook beschikbaar?
Als het goed is wel, ik zal het even navragen bij de eigenaresse en kom erop terug :)

Honestly, I think the views are worth worth 150000 and the property worth 30000 = 180000
Yes, the views are the most valuable part of this property :)

Very big house. I like to buy a small land with ruin to live on it. Thank you.
It's very big indeed, and can completely understand going for something smaller. Thanks for watching!
Cost
All the info is in the description, please check their website www.santaovaia.nl for more info :)
Si bad this wasn’t looked after; not worth the asking price in this poor condition; renovation and decontamination cost a lot!
