holy moly that is a LOT of buildings in very little space... but I bet they could be made into nice airbnb's all those on the left side and if the courtyard is cleaned up and made more park like then it would be a lovely vacation spot for tourists to chill.
So glad you are able to get out and about again Joseph. Don't overdo it though. Very different property this week. Goodness it is huge. Take care. I wish you a speedy and full recovery. Xx
What a great property with oodles of potential. Possibly self financing restoration. I’d happily live in the tower surveying my own Parish. I guess it needs a Collective to take it on and turn it round quickly. 🤔 😊 Watch your back my friend. No heroics whilst you heal else Marianna will box your ears for you!
Better get me a lottery ticket. This is HUGE!!!! Love the granite. Hard to see this being used as anything but a hotel. Hopefully in the next video, you won't be needing crutches to get around. Stay well.
Grandiose! 10:44 I don't think the doors need to be ripped off only carefully taken down and restored! This property is the oppotunity of a lifetime anywhere in the world.
Interesting property- handy the owner is also the builder. Thanks for sharing James, take care, hope you’re on the mend ❤️🩹soon love 💕 to your family 🤗
Great project! I'd love to take it on if I could get a couple of people in with me, but too much on my own. Hope your back is easing now. Take it steady
Wow Joseph that was an interesting property. It has potential to be a lot of things from a boarding school, a lodge, or even for a family with several generations living on the property.
Hope you and your family are well Joseph. I Love, love, love this. I wonder how much it would be for the current owner/builder to make the main house to a liveable standard? If possible, the purchaser could also purchase more land surrounding the property. That would make it even more desirable. I think a floor plan for the 2 storey building would be brilliant. It’s difficult to see how the inside is laid out. This is the best property I’ve seen in Portugal for a long time.
Nice! Personally I would not easily buy such a large building with so little land. I mean, if you make it into a hotel then the guests have to be able to sit somewhere. But interesting to see such huge buildings are for sale for reasonable prices.
What an amazing property. Is it still available? Looks like it has so much potential. However, I see train tracks next to the buildings. Is that an active railway and if so, how busy is it throughout the day? I would be concerned with having a hotel so close to the train tracks. Thanks!
I think so, and it seems to be an active track as well, with a local station just on the other side of the tracks. This means lots of metallic squeaky noises when trains slow down or accelerate. Although the rooms Joseph suggested for using as rent out apartments are on the other side of the building and have the house between them and the tracks, it could be quite noisy. On the other hand, there seems to be a crossing of the railroad about 150 metres away from the house, so tourists could come by train.
@@Farmerforfun my father was a builder...u only have the outside walls..EVERYTHING inside has to be done...in the main house and the other smaller ones. I'm not here to argue...I've been around builder's my whole life. You could do everything cheap but that's hardly gonna make for a good business. I estimated €650 for the buildings and the rest paving gates fencing..maybe..plants etc etc.
What beautiful home with so much potential for a large family that would like to live on the same grounds or it can be made into small living quarters for others. Take care of yourself and thank you for showing this beautiful home.
Hmmmmmm I would love this to turn into an artist refuge
What an incredible opportunity for someone with very deep pockets to create a dream location..Stay well Joseph and take care.

Thank you for the video,so sorry to see your struggling with your back,I have a similar problem, comes and goes so I can sympathize 🤕
Is that a railroad back of the main building?

Its ideal for a disabled retirement home in the sun.
sad to say but wine is not good for back ache haha!
This will be over one million to buy and renovate I feel. Ud Need to fix the land up as well...at the end of it all it could be beautiful.
Hi there, would definitely not cost 750k to renovate
