I got so used to Archie and Maxie's ORAS forms so seeing their original themes in USUM was so foreign
for real, especially archie. he looked like this big, imposing leader in oras, while in rse and usum he just looks like some random dude

Well it is implied that ORAS takes place in an alternate universe. The one's we saw in Ultra Sun and Moon are likely the original variants from the original Ruby and Sapphire

This videos require a great effort, he has to play every game until he reaches the battles wished, in order to record it and upload it. Insane.
He could low-key just be recording a 100% playthrough of each game and showing specific footage each time.

Archie's design and characterization in ORAS will always be top tier. I've recently replayed Alpha Sapphire and it really rekindled feelings of why I love gen 3 and sapphire storyline so much.
Also QOTD: my favorite dual type for water pokemon has always been Kingdra and for solely water type it'd have to be Milotic for now. I mean I love a lot of water pokemon but most are dual types haha
Also when I battled him the second time in oras, I made sure I mega evolved when he did and it was so hyped! I started with treeko in my playthrough

ORAS Archie is extremely attractive and it's really a shame they went back to the old one for USUM. It's not bad in itself but it's just.... a serious downgrade.

I caught one of the Electrodes in Rainbow Rocket’s hideout and used it against Kyogre
They should’ve used the ORAS design for Archie in USUM

He actually does have some traits from ORAS Archie such as calling the player a little scamp and using a muk on team something his original counterpart didn’t have.
This is actually Archie from the original timeline where his plan succeeded. He has no Mega Sharpedo or Primal Kyogre , this is the Archie from the original R/S/E.
