Frank isn’t doing it for that reason, though. His entire family was murdered by criminals. This is all purely for revenge. Thor relating with Punisher about the fight against Injustice is interesting. Also Punisher could never end Thor, which is why Thor didn't show up in Punisher ends the Marvel universe.
It is interesting to witness this, and realize that Thor is probably one of the few people who can actually relate to Frank Castle and the Punisher mindset. The Punisher persona is all about being a warrior and striking down evildoers in the name of vengeance, and I don't think there is another Marvel character who would personally understand that mindset and the honor related to it better than Thor.
Thor relates to the madness, not the honor, there was no honor. Thor has been exiled for having warrior madness, Punisher was getting the same treatment from the Avengers (and Thor himself, if needed). Thor is saying to Frank "I was you, I was a mad warrior lost in useless wars, stop and ask your self what you're fighting for, or someone will need to stop you".
Thor is the best one to talk about this. Frank has been fighting and killing because it temporarily numbs the pain of his loss. Thor has been fighting endlessly for glory, vanity, and ego for hundreds of years. Not much a better reason, to fight because all you know to do is fight.
You should stop projecting human morals to gods, really. Gods usually serve a function in the universe. Thor is the fighter, for example. See This is both what should be considered, and what they're completely ignoring about Punisher The Avengers are always going after the bigger threats the ones that are about to break the world in half Frank, despite being Street Level, is among the only ones who are actually doing the smaller things that effects everyone daily An elderly woman gets pull out of her car in a grand theft and shot dead Drugs getting sold to school children Women forced into prostitution and smuggled into the country and threatened to cooperate or die Where's the Avengers for them...? Frank isn't doing this because he gets off on it, he's doing this because no-one else will
The avengers and shield wants to arrest the punisher. Black widow doesn’t care as long as punisher doesn’t interfere with her missions. Wolverine, Deadpool and ghost rider. They wouldn’t go after Frank. They’re just as violent and bloodthirsty as he is. Which is weird why the avengers don’t go after them when they go on a bloody rampage. It will be hypocritical if the anti-hero’s did go after the Castle. Daredevil has been trying to make castle Into a pacifist hero for years. From the looks of it, Thor. Isn’t so much of a violent hero, but it’ll be hypocritical for him to go after after castle. Specially, with his history of slaying Giants. The Hulk on the other hand, I don’t think he cares what Frank Castle does.
Wolverine isn’t nearly as bloodthirsty as Punisher. If he were, he’d be spending every waking second of his life killing, or planning to kill people. Wolverine has relaxation and recreation time with his teammates. He even spares people from time to time, and quite often fights without intending to kill. Punisher lives solely so he can keep killing. If he had no targets to pursue, he’d have no reason to live. Deadpool kills people for money, but even he has his recreational downtime/antics.
Thor is cool but I’d like to see Frank get ahold of some Destroyer Armor. Have him control it, call it The Punisher Armor. He could smack around Thor and then give him some advice on war.

But most writers can't think of anything else to do with him anymore. And it's nice to see someone who's seen more war and on a greater scale than Frank could comprehend sort out his mess. Might be sacrilege to say online but i think Ennis did more harm than good to the character in the end.
As a superhero writer, Garth Ennis sucks the big one. He should have just stuck to Preacher.
Awesome job on this! Now i wanna crack open a beer!
Hey my old friend. Hope u are doing well. Found a couple of my old collection that would make awesome uploads for your channel. See if u can find the "Armor Wars - The invincible ironman" Late 80s early 90s i think the years they were published. Amazing story line of iron man. Keep safe brother. 👍👍
You've got it bro ! I'll take a look at armor wars, it's a classic but I never took the time to read it so this will be great! Thank you man, keep safe out there also bro ! Shoot me a message any time you feel like it my old friend 🙏🙏
When challenge wrong people, it might taught you a lesson. - Wiseman.
Silly Thor, trying to reason with the Punisher.
Why not punisher listened to Cap.
@@Banthisyoutube-zs6sx I'm not sure I follow. Explain, please.
@@keithdrummond1003 cap told him to turn himself in during civil war he did and took the ass whooping cap gave him like a man. Punisher respects cap incredibly.
I love Marvel’s Thor, because despite being ALL POWERFUL he understands Humanity better than anyone. 😉
Try doing that with Ghost Rider or Spawn.
Ghost rider, he could (but it would be a BRUTAL fight).
Spawn, I don't know enough about him to say (Probably EPIC though, if you're putting him in the same league as Ghost Rider).
Give punisher a serum and try that again
Wow, Thor's scared of the punisher.
Why couldn't we get this Thor
What If... The Punisher could lift Tor's hammer.
That was awesome
The punisher is the warrior tactical version of batman if batman had no moral dilemmas with killing anyway grey or worse
Thor is often just a fool or a joke... but to be fair, he's been alive for a long time. Experience has to leak out every now and then. ...and you know what they say about experience...
Thor using chidori before it was cool
Another reason why Thor is awesome
*Yup. When you employ the tactics of the enemy, when you fight like the enemy that drove you to taking up the fight, what then is the point of fighting?*
could thor from avengers infinity war kills apocalypse from x men apocalypse?
Hey, the voicing of the Text is a super idea. If there can be any complain, then that Castles Voice sounded too friendly as in from a nice Guy instead of a broken Soldier but hey, it's not like you do this kind of Videos since Years and really aside of that one point it was really great.
If Thor punches punisher he'd be dead at best
That’s why he used a fraction of his strength to just knock him out.
Awesome story, totally lifeless AI voiceover.
See
This is both what should be considered, and what they're completely ignoring about Punisher
The Avengers are always going after the bigger threats the ones that are about to break the world in half
Frank, despite being Street Level, is among the only ones who are actually doing the smaller things that effects everyone daily
An elderly woman gets pull out of her car in a grand theft and shot dead
Drugs getting sold to school children
Women forced into prostitution and smuggled into the country and threatened to cooperate or die
Where's the Avengers for them...?
Somehow, this reminded me of Big Boss and Outer Heaven.
Great voice acting. Top shelf work. Please consider doing more…often. Respect! 🫡
Can someone please send this link to Taika Watiti? Let him know that there is another version of Thor compared to his SNL version.....
Sweet!
“Chidori”
Thor is cool but I’d like to see Frank get ahold of some Destroyer Armor.
Have him control it, call it The Punisher Armor.
He could smack around Thor and then give him some advice on war.
I absolutely love frank and he’s in my top 10 fictional characters but he can’t do anything to Thor 💀,maybe cosmic ghost rider
@@jayyy1677 I said I’d like to see Frank control Destroyer armor to smack around Thor, that armor was created by Odin & can easily hurt Thor.
Frank himself can’t do that but he uses weapons to win & Destroyer armor IS a weapon ;)
@@traviswilcox3472even with the Destroyer armor, current Thor would still beat him.
@@AlessandroMarques95Sure, but I never said beat Thor.
Just smack him around.
If I wanted Frank to beat Thor or EVERY hero or villain I’d just give him The Ultimate Nullifier again.
That weapon makes even Galactus run scared ;)
All of Thor's dialogue is to help your feelings from being crushed. If Castle is your Favorite He has been saved for your emotional wellbeing 😅
Thor the Wise. Who knew…
I would drink beer with thor 4sho💯🍺🍺🍺🍺
