Great offensive move
Even though this move is legal, when you're playing pickup, someone will usually say travel. I still use it however, it's essential that you land with two feet and not get choppy. That's when it's a travel. A lot of people must not have seen prime D Wade, with the right athleticism this move is unstoppable.
even if you land with two feet not at the same time, it's still just 2 steps after picking up the dribble, not a travel at all. However landing with both feet at the same time is faster and you have more option which foot to pivot
@@devvv4616 you are almost right. While gathers the ball the first step is the gather, the jump is the pivot than you can decide after landing with both feet together whats your pivot and move the other
they are just stupid, i am doing the jump stop and then pivoting and step through

Nice, nobody teaches jumpstops unless it's high level. If you can hit that shot, 2 dribble, jumpstop pull up, you'll be able to get it against any level of competition as long as you have decent handles and foot work getting forward into the defense. Unguardable if you can hit it, not easy and takes strength and practice. I have one hand and can get this shot up against any level I've played against.

That’s a travel! You can’t jump like that and then land with the ball. I would recommend not watching this video.
Dennis Pombier it’s the 2 steps you’re allowed after the dribble combined into one. It’s a legal move. A lot of people call it a pro hop.

Yes, after a jump stop you can still pivot on one foot.

In this scenario, you can not then establish a pivot foot because you have already taken 2 steps AND a jump.

I can tell you that you don't need or want your off hand in your shot. The majority of power for your shot comes from your lower body. If you are using your off hand it is an opposing force to your shot and won't work. I've never heard of any shooting coach teaching anything like you describe and would have to see real proof that these players are actually using this technique before I would believe it.
Can i take 2 step and during the second step i did jump stop?is it travel?
You can lift your pivot foot and then shoot or pass before your pivot foot touches the ground without traveling. This is true in virtually any league anywhere. This is what everyone does on normal layups they just don't realize it because there is no hesitation into the shot.
