Awesome video. Thanks for showing how to create those tones. I know it’s been a while but if possible I’d love to see what other songs that you have been able to make with this keyboard.
I have a MX88 that's my main keyboard, but I also have the MX49 for lead work and fills. Great flutes, saxes, etc. The soprano sax is dead on for Ronnie Laws version of People make the World Go Round.
Hi mate. Does anyone know how to adjust the factory vibrato, which brings out the Transverse Flute sound of the Yamaha MX? I have moved several parameters but nothing happens. Greetings
I've been looking for those patch numbers myself as obviously Yamaha cannot name those patches as Wurlitzer or Fender Rhodes. Suitcase pianos are not giving me those tones/sounds
Does the Yamaha MX61 have a honky tonk piano patch? I guess you could just add lots of chorusing. But does the MX61 even allow you to saturate effects?
Hola! pues no hice realmente nada "extra".
Jaime Amílcar thanks man. I started on Jan 1 this year and practice at least an hour every day, sometimes 2. I can play about 4 songs but they are pretty basic but I'd love to be able to do play like you.
Hello, and thanks for the video! Could you please answer which voice of MX you considered as Rhodes - as I know, there is no voice called exactly Rhodes there. Thank you in advance!
Hola Jaime! Qué me podrías aconsejar? Gracias.
Saludos!!
@@Keyboardman88 omg I would like to have a MX88. But its too expensive in Thomann, almost 1000€. It's a month working 8 hours every day here in Spain. May be I'm going to buy it. Now I have a P115 and I thought to buy a Roland FP-30 but the one I would like to have is MX88. Do you recommend it or another one cheaper?
@@ElLanzeh If you just want Rhodes, Wurli, Clavi you could get the FP-30 for €555, and maybe a TC Electronic M350 for all the FX for €159 (you also need a headphone amp HA400 is €20) and then your done for around €750. Rolands have fantastic keys, Yamaha MX does have way more sounds and drums and some other features. But I think the Roland sounds better.
I had a MX49 a few years ago, but by now I forgot that it sounds so well. 👍🎹

Just bought one! (49). Would you mind sharing which presets you used for each, or your adjustments to get each sound?
Hi! I just saw this, I did not use any presets, just the factory sounds :)
Great demo and great choice of songs :)
when it comes to piano selections , Yamaha is very good
Perfect demo thank you. Hope you will demo some classic basic synth sounds too!
imagine you could take an mx49 and travel back in time! The 80s would call: "burn the witch" ;)
I like the sound on 1:06 & Rhodes sounds on 3:16
Fantastic!
The “I Can Read Your Mind” by Alan Parsons gave me pure chills.
Love those sounds and songs!

Ryan Rice thank you very much!! The voice is “CP 2007”
@@jaimemkii I'll have to try that voice tonight on the MX. Appreciate it greatly!
Thanks for the demo! Is this capable of producing a '60s Farfisa sound?
Can you remove this tinny bell like sound from Rhodes using synthesis parameters?
Any chance of a demo of the nearest sound you've got to the DX7 electric piano? I can't find any examples of that on RUclips for the MX88. Thanks
I own a MX88 and there are a couple of really nice DX7 sounds.

How did you get the Rhodes sound on this piano? Does it come with the piano or did you install it seperately?
