  • I’ve owned my Grizzly since brand new in the spring of ‘07. I pulled it out of winter storage today and my immortal battery needed its own video. 😀

Right on! That’s awesome to hear 😀, I’m hoping my battery will make it to 20 years.
I really like this 4-wheeler, still using the original belt, it runs great, I’ve had no need or desire to replace it with a new quad.

    I had a 1990 Honda fourtrax 300.
I bought it in 1993 original battery and it lasted until 2013.
    23yrs.
In the past 7 years having to buy batteries constantly for my Suzuki King Quad, my toro lawnmower.. Etc...
It made me think i was crazy to think the Honda battery last 23yrs...
I asked my dad and my brother if they had ever bought a battery for the honda that i didnt know about when they borrowed it and they both said they never did..
They just assumed i took care of that...
For some reasons batteries nowadays are a joke.

23 years, WOW! Maybe mine will make it that long?
I’ve noticed the same thing over the past few years, the batteries don’t seem to last and I’ve been caring for them the same way. I even bought a charger for AGM, flooded and LiPo.
The battery in my Yamaha VK540 started crapping out after the first season.

@@thatalaskaguy It could last more years.
With my Suzuki King Quad as soon as I am done running it I put it in garage and plug the pigtail into the battery tender until the next time I take the machine out.

I always have mine hooked up to a battery tender and they still dont last past 5 years. New batteries are junk just like everything else we buy. Prices go up but quality has dropped.

I too have had bad luck with newer batteries. It’s really frustrating!
