YVC Summit & YVCHR Gala 2024

SUN, SURF and SERVICE!
In October 2024, Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads co-hosted the annual YVC Summit for youth and program leaders from across the YVC Network, which spans the United States, Canada and Uganda. In addition to 24 workshops, 4 hands-on service projects, a large-scale poverty simulation and time for making new friends and fun memories at the beach, the 2-day conference culminated with a celebration honoring outstanding youth volunteers and affiliates, as well as YVCHR's 15-year anniversary!
Youth Volunteer Corps engages youth in team-based service experiences that build work and life skills while inspiring a lifetime ethic of service.
