New to your channel my friend, I like your style on how you teach as I am considering buying an MPC live or X but I have just got the Roland Verslabs MV 1 and wish I had got the Live 2, Struggling to find good teachers that vibe with me or that have good in-depth videos showing the Verslabs So I came across your channel and now has made me want the Live even more lol

This new update got me buying the live 2 retro after selling two MPC’s.
I sold my Live with no intention of buying another, then got the Live 2 a month later lol…i didn’t know about the update but that lets me know i made the right choice

How do you think about working in a little dark environment with this machine as the buttons are not backlit and you actually need to know what’s under the knobs and buttons… I am torn to return the retro and get the black … but after some time the black one looks jus dirty pads and dusty everywhere… what is your opinion?
👍🏾 thanks much appreciated for sharing with us next I have a question so is there a quick and easy way to delete multiple tracks after you have named them for example I loaded a midi track with midi notes right from a midi pack and for some reason it named 50 tracks and the midi information was only on the 50th track so basically is there a way to delete the 49 other tracks quickly lol idk why this happened I think who ever made the midi pack must have did some type of splitting process and didn't remove the names of the other midi files I'm not sure still tho is there a way to select more then 1 track at a time and delete them ? Thanks in advance for your time much appreciated 👍🏾
I really don’t believe so..they likely did save that file the wrong way or at least forgot to clean it up.
Brother B'Lystic Productions exactly which bit number or you using inside the ifixit Essential kit believe not using the correct size bit can strip it also...I could be wrong I just whether be safe then sorry. I have that same kit you are using in the video. thx for the reponding back
I have the MPC X but that joint too big to carry around. I owned the mpc touch but never the live or live 2….is it a big upgrade/easier work flow than the touch was?
It's the same, except no computer (or the exact same with the computer)
So that is a Sata 3 drive?
How Do we set up the korg wavestate with the Mpc?
Plug it's USB into the MPC's USB port, go into the MIDI Settings on the MPC to make sure the Wavestate is enabled. Also run the Audio cables from the Wavestate to the MPC's Inputs
That's one way...I got rid of my Wavestate though so can't make a specific vid for it at the moment

did you buy your Retro version from zZounds or American Musical Supply? if cost wasn't a issue, would you have bought the X over the Retro?
I've gotten most of my studio from zzounds over the years. Cost isn't the reason I chose the Live/Live 2. I've never wanted the X. I understand why some would want it, but it is big/bulky and they all have the exact same sound so it comes down to preference and your own needs.
When u order from ZZZ do they call delay your order for verification and call your phone they did that to me

You probably are talking about me..that vid was a year and a half ago though that i got the Live 1…I’m a gear head and always wanting to try new equipment and tech though so decided to sell it and get this. Honestly, they’re all gonna do the same thing for you though.
@@BrandonBLysticLee im prolly gonna get the live 2 my dam self; as had the live 1 since 2017, but the battery just died on the live so can only use on mains
@@BrandonBLysticLee sometimes the different interface or workflow make you approach beats slightly differently which sometimes can help trigger a different creative spark
