Yeah, US tests seem really easy, actually- too easy. I think its becuase of how you guys have so many young drivers due to the lack of public transport, thats why the standard has dropped so low and why you see most US drivers in automatics (theres other reasons for the automatic being the norm but thats one of them). In the UK, youve gotta know how to drive by the time you take your test, infact, anyone will tell you, the standard is higher during the test then it will be for driving after you pass. As annoying as that is for first time drivers, its a pretty good way to ensure a certain level of ability before you put people on the roads.

Before I took my written test and a couple of mock tests this was literally me. As an American getting a driving instructor was the best decision I have ever made even though I've been driving since I was 16.
A friend of mine passed his test in the States. He told me it was recognized worldwide when he came back to the UK. After watching this I'm glad I never had to get in a car with him!
My sister learned in the USA in an Auto. So few seem to have experience on stick shift as they call it like the twins in the US. I am English and have driven all over the world through Europe, the Middle East, Australia, North America, Mexico and much more. The worse place for traffic and chaos for me was Thessalonkia in Greece, that was mad. I am amazed in the USA at the amount of undertaking and poor lane discipline, driving with food and drinks in your hand and poor handling of the steering wheel. Also all my US friends breathe in when you drive down cramped UK roads, they just are not used to the lack of space (Especially if you are from California). They don't really like traffic circles as they call them! Was a fun watch :)
I live in the USA. We are not strict on lane use here. Usually people turn left from the left lane and right from the right lane, but going forward nobody cares if you are in the left or right lane. They do not enforce faults if one is in the left (inside in the USA) lane too long.
People can say what they want but driving on the opposite side is not easy. Also streets in the UK and Ireland are much more narrow so combined with being unused to judging distance from cars/ walls on the left it's a stressful time.
im actually about to take my test too next month but im in the usa, i hope to god they don't make me drive on the highway. i'm practicing your push pull method every night i find it more natural than flailing my arms and getting tangled doing the hand over hand
another great video, love them. your cousins seem really happy, people you can spend all day with laughing and both very pretty. keep up the good work Pin ☺
As an American would like to point out. The turning indicators are just that. They are treated as an indicator to the drivers around US that we are turning. (Not how I drive but how nearly all USA people do it.) Roundabouts are very few. The state I live in has maybe 6. I actually went to live with my uncle who actually has more. That’s were I got my license from so I got more practice in using the roundabouts. My other bonus when learning is the fact my uncle actually has had drivers licenses in Germany and Europe. So he actually knew the proper signaling and such, American drivers manuals don’t even mention the fact. Actually my state doesn’t even mention roundabouts at all. Also not only do the sides of the road we drive on flipped but also the over take lanes apparently. The left lane is considered the over take or fast lane. The right lane is the slow lane. Just interesting.
When you switch sides of driving and steering wheel position, everything just becomes opposite, that's why switching sides isn't as difficult as everyone thinks. Also I honestly don't think Americans even check their mirrors or blind spots at all, I know a lot don't, that's for sure
These videos are hilarious, the 2 are so funny throughout the driving. Also are we going to ignore the fact that Jazz driving with one hand was allowed and not a fault of any kind lol Keep up the videos anyway Pin. love them :)
They're actually really good drivers; it's just that it's very difficult for Americans to drive in the UK because everything is very different. They are way better than me.
Loool , bs and driving on the otherside of the road is not an excuse , i know many people in the uk who drive fine in greece and their roads are narrow and they drive on same side of the road as Americans , theres not many barriers
Driving up kerbs, into walls and other vehicles isn't what I'd call a really good driver. If something is unfamiliar, slow right down, stop the laughing and distraction and concentrate thoroughly otherwise you can end up killing someone, like the woman who killed the young guy and ran back to America did.
@@my2cents366 that has nothing to do with it. People like these should not be allowed behind the wheel. I'm sorry but I'd never ever be in a car where they're driving.
@@ibustanut They have learner license, never driven in UK. The roads are much more complicated and they probably are nervous be on a camera in front of audience. Fortunately for them, you are not the one who decided who can drive on the road.
When you are used to right side traffic and switch over to left side traffic your mental representation of then car and lane width is distorted. It can be hard to judge how close you are to other cars at times.
In Canada and the USA, motorcycles cannot get in-between vehicles. If you are on a motorized vehicle, or in some areas even a bicycle, you must occupy the lane just like another car would. You are not allowed to go in-between vehicles so, there is really no need to check mirrors after a quick stop in traffic.
Agreed, they were a menace on the roads and it wasn't just due to driving on the left. The pair of them thought the whole thing was a joke. Perhaps Pins mistake was having them in the car together? Would have liked to have seen a double episode, which each one having a mock test of normal length individually and see if they improved as they went on.
@@kevinmartin2516 I'd like to see UK drivers handle German priority-to-right rules (or not) and cruise though an intersection when a car is pulling out from the right.

@@Alan_Clark Any decent city or town you are going to have constant stopping at lights. Ever drive in London? Roundabouts are safer when done property, but UK roundabouts are built to be big and fast, and that's not the safest design, and I've watched many UK drivers screw up at roundabouts because they are careless and don't follow the rules.
At time 13:02, in this example people wait in the intersection while the traffic on the other side goes. Her hesitation may have come from the fact that In the USA it is common to wait behind the limit line and not enter intersections until you can make it through all the way clear when turning. The USA does not allow waiting and blocking intersections the way that drivers in the UK wait in an intersection. This may explain why she was confused and waiting before turning.

This was up there as my fave video on thi channel.......i love thi channel as it teaches actual good habits and what to expect with a driving test.....but was really interesting / funny to see someone from another country try and do our driving test.
dont stop doing the normal videos as they are golden in many ways, but id love to see the odd one or two of videos like these, that involve people who already drive/ have a license in another country, but try pass a mock test in england.....gives a good perspective of the differences and standards of each country etc
This video was fab! The humour from these two girls was fantastic. You seemed to have trouble keeping a straight face to suit the formality of the mock test.
"do you have deferent lights in the US?" 😂😂😂😂that made me laugh men
bro the have stop go fast and go in the US
In fact, since US lights don't have a red-amber phase, they DO have different lights.
In Estonia it's opposite. You signal first, check mirrors, make the maneuver. Signaling implies intent, not the action itself.
Passed my practical test on Friday with 2 minors. Thought I failed half way through but glad to have finally passed!! 😃
mine is today!!!
@@fazzzzaaaa good luck!!!
i just realized this means 2 minor faults and not that 2 minors where on the car during the test 😂
@@ed_iz_ed lmaoo 😂
How has the first year been that is the year most drivers are likely to have incidents or accidents(and, often, not realize until later years that it WAS their fault although they may not think so at the time.) lol
0:13 The transition from "If I start crying midway, I am sorry" to "Hurraaayyy!" was priceless! 🤣🤣
Many thanks for the videos, combined with my lessons they helped immensely I'm happy to say I past my test today!! Keep up the content pin you've got another sub!
Can’t contain my laughter at the beginning of every video when the girl goes hooorayyyyyy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He didn’t even have time to write a will this time.
I just passed my driving test 1st time with only 2 minors, thank you for these amazing videos they rlly helped a lot! Plus the ultimate driving course as well :)
Congrats!!! What were the minors?
@@JimiCanRead speed in a dual carriage way and mirror checking before signalling
This is by far the funniest driving test video I've seen 😂😂😂😂 I do hope they get better at driving on UK roads lol
At 24:30,
You should of just given Khush an Advisory for this Pin,
“You might want to practice not banging your head when checking your blind spot, before moving off”,
🇬🇧🤣👍🏼
I just couldn't stop laughing. It was amazing clip so far . I really appreciate your hard work Pin and as update us by uploading your new videos does help a person like trying to pass driving test. I got my driving test on the 22nd December let's see what happens inshaallah. Thanks Pin
Passed today 0 minors! Your videos were a big help dude! Thank ya!
0??!! How?🙂

Brilliant, how you kept so calm I will never know 🤣🤣
I'm just happy Pin made it home alive to do the voice-overs for us.
Before I took my written test and a couple of mock tests this was literally me. As an American getting a driving instructor was the best decision I have ever made even though I've been driving since I was 16.
You are a brave instructor to take a risk with serious faults on major roads with inexperienced learners
I'm impressed, u didn't have a heart attack when she was nearly hitting that wall 😂😂
A friend of mine passed his test in the States. He told me it was recognized worldwide when he came back to the UK.
After watching this I'm glad I never had to get in a car with him!
When i used to learm driving when i was 18, my instructor used to call me "Heavy Driver" 🤣🤣
Should have had them try parallel parking 😂
This was the FUNNIEST video yet!!🤣🤣
The first twin laughing through the second’s test 😆😆😆
I always assumed that using one hand on the wheel and using a palming technique would both count as minor faults on an exam
im actually about to take my test too next month but im in the usa, i hope to god they don't make me drive on the highway. i'm practicing your push pull method every night i find it more natural than flailing my arms and getting tangled doing the hand over hand
aha passed my driving test 2 days ago first time, after 17 lessons - now I can watch for fun :)
another great video, love them. your cousins seem really happy, people you can spend all day with laughing and both very pretty. keep up the good work Pin ☺
Did I just see a disposable camera??? 😂🤣
Trip down memory lane.
These girls were hilarious 😂
This video is so wholesome, honestly loved everyone's energy!❤❤
There hand positioning on that steering wheel is terrible 😭
As an American would like to point out. The turning indicators are just that. They are treated as an indicator to the drivers around US that we are turning. (Not how I drive but how nearly all USA people do it.)
Roundabouts are very few.
You don't use your signal?
@@Ri0GenMusic only when turning
@fatbroccoli8 yes all 300milliom Americans don't check mirrors
We don't call them turning indicators, just indicators, to indicate what the fuck you;re about to do.
These videos are hilarious, the 2 are so funny throughout the driving. Also are we going to ignore the fact that Jazz driving with one hand was allowed and not a fault of any kind lol Keep up the videos anyway Pin. love them :)
Nothing funny about this. Dangerous yes.
@@jslfcs6655 they have dual pedals for the instructor, if it was anything dangerous, he would have took control
it’s fine to drive with one hand as long as you have control of the steering wheel
@@victoriahowe3190 Not on a test I don't think it's allowed.
@@fazpro3204 my bad you’re right i just checked
They're actually really good drivers; it's just that it's very difficult for Americans to drive in the UK because everything is very different. They are way better than me.
also mustve been disorienting having to remember to drive on the left side and viewing streets that are really different too
Loool , bs and driving on the otherside of the road is not an excuse , i know many people in the uk who drive fine in greece and their roads are narrow and they drive on same side of the road as Americans , theres not many barriers
@@DC3Refomgod forbid you understand not everyone is the same and adapts at the same rate
Driving up kerbs, into walls and other vehicles isn't what I'd call a really good driver. If something is unfamiliar, slow right down, stop the laughing and distraction and concentrate thoroughly otherwise you can end up killing someone, like the woman who killed the young guy and ran back to America did.
@@Longsotoad that's when you concentrate rather than laughing and distracting yourself.
This is utterly scary to watch, it's an accident waiting to happen. If this is how American's learn to drive then I'm shocked.
what you expect when driving test in USA lasts like 10 minutes
They didn't do great, but roads are super straight and wide in US/Canada. So, they should be OK, I they can use some practice ofcourse.
@@my2cents366 it's scary how distracting they were to each other and how unaware of their vehicle they were
@@my2cents366 that has nothing to do with it.
The best instructor ever😂😂😂.... You guys are fun😂😂😂
I think only one or two states allow filtering in the US. You are right, motos have to follow the rules just like cars.
Smiled all the way through lol but are you telling me these girls have a driving license? oh god...
@@kevinmartin2516 bro the rules of the road are entirely different anybody from the us would of did abysmal I don’t blame them.
@@kevinmartin2516 I'd like to see UK drivers handle German priority-to-right rules (or not) and cruise though an intersection when a car is pulling out from the right.
a provisional license, they aren't fully licsensed yet... US roads are way easier to drive than UK
THAT IS WHY WE NEED TO MAINTAIN DRIVING DISCIPLINE IN THE UK PEOPLE, LET’S KEEP UK AS THE SAFEST AND POLITE DRIVERS AROUND THE WORLD.
I passed last week with 2 minors, been watching your videos all the time🤪
For first time driving on the correct side of the road, and having a different set of traffic laws, both of these girls did very well. I think that they need a few lessons, but as a first lesson, they were very good.
Love jaz's laugh 🤣
American here. Can confirm that it is explicitly taught to signal before mirror checks. I still cannot fully understand why it is different in the UK. If someone could explain that, I would very much appreciate it.
To make sure it’s safe to signal I’m assuming
when they say the fire truck is cute 💀😂
because its small
If you couldnt pass your test in the us, then there is no way you're passing it in the uk.
PLEASE BRING THEM BACK ON WHENEVER U ALL GET THE CHANCE! this was funny
“Push the button and down.
It’s not all the way down”
I couldn’t do it😂😂😂😂
Driving test tomorrow I’ll come back tomorrow with the verdict.. but looks like it’s going to be cancelled because of this weather🤦🏽♀️
Good luck

@@DGNDriving thank you, it was cancelled😭 now moved to January
it’s a relief seeing these girls from the US driving in UK roads for me, i really don’t think i will ever be leaving the US, those roads look scary
It's good to have two sisters like these at home....jolly home always. 😜
Does anyone notice how Jazz grabs the steering wheel? (5:32)
First thing I noticed
yeah I noticed it too
Probably why she had no control and nearly crashed, I've seen others (probably Americans) blaming it on being used to driving on the other side of the road lol
At least they learned a little on uk roads
They don't seem to have driven in USA. THE RULES ARE ALMOST SAME, WE DO INDICATOR MIRROR SHOULDER THEN TURN.
Last Tuesday, after many years of struggling and one failed test i finally passed with only one minor!! Thank you so much for the videos. I honestly don’t think i would have passed without all of your useful tips. By far the best learning channel on here! Also…………..WOLVES AY WE
24.26 starting point. This is the part I was waiting for . Good stuff. 👍
Surprising how the instructor stayed so calm and didn’t laugh
hard to laugh when these 2 are menaces to society
he did laugh???
That reaction of her at the back , "oh ohhh thats really close". I can feel how terrified she is 😂😂😂
"Move off" "What does that even mean?" 😂
Because we would usually say "move out" instead.
Never thought I'd be watching driving videos for hours, this man did it
I mean in america they only drive in straight lines in automatic vehicles. it's probably the easiest country to drive in the world
I think the constant stoping at traffic lights would be annoying. Roundabouts are so much faster and safer.
I have my driving test in a few hours. I’ve been watching you videos since before quarantine, I’ll update the comment with the result
She took her camera out 😂😂😭😭😭😭😭😭 I am dead
At time 13:02, in this example people wait in the intersection while the traffic on the other side goes. Her hesitation may have come from the fact that In the USA it is common to wait behind the limit line and not enter intersections until you can make it through all the way clear when turning. The USA does not allow waiting and blocking intersections the way that drivers in the UK wait in an intersection. This may explain why she was confused and waiting before turning.
