The full range speakers can play lows and high like a 6x8 coaxial speaker. A midrange can play vocal real well but to mean for bass (usually below 120 htz) I like to think of the mid as the 5-6 inch speaker in the old vintage 3 way floor speakers. Martinlogan and Bowerswilks still use them on their tower speakers.
Same combo i put in doors of my blazer running of a DS18 200 x 4 @ 1ohm. They sound amazing.
