If people are complaining your videos are to long then there not true audio people.. I listen and watch to the end.. your doing an awesome job.. and those speakers..just awesome. . Sound killer
They look and sound AMAZING!!! You can't please everyone. Videos weren't too long at all. All you're doing is explaining your product testing your product explaining the ins and outs how to how not to!!! I was going to build a ststem,on my mini truck a certain brand but after watching your LONG ASS AND EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE VIDEOS NOW IM,GOING WITH SUNDOWN!!! FROM voice, bass and amps!!! NOTHING BUT THE BEST!!! THANKS DEREK!!✌✌✌✌✌✌
I’m just trying to replace my factory speakers, if I just swapped these sundown speakers out with the factory, would the factory amp be ok to listen to them with?
Out of all the vid from this audio company this is way I am a long time customer for life. Awesome looking forward on owning these coaxial or the compnents I just have to pick which pair to get LOL The vid time is great!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn I bought all ground zero 6.5,8”,10”4 PRV HORNS speakers for my Harley, I have Sundown 10”” in my truck 🤔 and now you show me these sundowns 6.5’ and I already own 10” damn do I switch it? There is no sundown Harleys out there, do I do it???? What do you guys think??
For open air no box , they sound very good . think i will have to get a set of four for the 2002 toyota sienna van , to start my project for having some bump in a mini van.
I personally like the longer videos. But does theis mean we are going to get some pretty awesome components? I would definitely like to get some if there was matching components!
Here's a question, does air escape around the pillar for the tweeter on these speakers. I want to use coaxials in a box with a passive radiator for a low cost aio system.
I have a set of sundown SD 6.5 for my build, would this be a better than my component speakers or should I stay with what I have. Cause I love the sound these make and it’s crispy clear. And I’m running mine on a Rockford Fosgate T400/4.
I’m just trying to replace my factory speakers, if I just swapped these sundown speakers out with the factory, would the factory amp be ok to listen to them with?
@@daanhamer4172 what do you mean anything with movement produces sound. Please explain what you meant. I was mainly talking about the free air frequency response range. It reaches pretty low for a 6.5 speaker with relatively low distortion which implies that it could be eq’ed through DSP quite effectively.
I am going to be running a single x10 on a Rockford 1500bdcp and have a Rockford 600.4 do you think 2 pairs of these would do me justice. I have a 2017 Honda Accord sport and it doesn’t have tweeter pods so I figure coaxial would be easiest for me or do you think I should just make a tweeter pod and do the components. Is there that much of a difference
Have headphones on and the sounded pretty good, enough for my deaf ass to hear it rattle on the table when midbass hits.. sounds pretty clear too.. great for my heavy metal music..lol
Do your component woofers hit like that? What the frequency response on them.. I'm looking for something with more midbass in my 06 Silverado crew, currently running deafbonce Arnold's, they loud asf but I want sum more bass out of them, maybe I'll do pods with two 6.5s per door (Arnold's and sa6.5 component set per door)
I got the first version sundown 6.5 50W coaxial on my rears door on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma trd sport So I saw this video like couple Day ago didn’t know nothing about it. I went ahead and bought these second version sundown 6.5 80W coaxial and I’m Excited to hear them! Now I believe it going to sound even with my sundown 6 x 9 80W coaxial speaker on my front speaker and with a little kick those sundown 2.75 tweeters that i have on top on my dashboard I believe its going to sounds amazing (Sundown all the way!)
Missing the "N" on the website on the box. Anyway, I have to wonder how these compare to those Duals, they look identical. Would you be interested in doing a compare? Thx
a pair of these and those 2.75s wow what a noise !....and not in a box nice about the haters Derecķ you keep doing you... your videos got me to buy a set of subs and a sfb 1500
Hey those 6.5 sound ohh so nice and clear the response is on time not lagging like some of the other speakers tht I heard and I have head phones on lol I can hear the bass and highs plus the mid bass and for 80watts per speaker thts really good and it does very well with the 200 amp plus I wanna see more in they can do lol 🤣 peace
Not underrated; everyone that knows or can afford them typically has them in their final list. But most people are setting their budgets too low or just unable to afford them.
I prefer to solder my speaker wires onto my door speakers. The should have made these a little bigger, seems like they could have made the cone a little bigger
Good video Derek. I'm happy to see sundown moving along so quickly. And I hope they make home audio amps soon because they could kill it in that market

Damn. 3 months after I completed my setup Sundown releases the sfb amps, and new coaxial 6.5s!!
And this is why ones stereo is never _complete._
Who cares how long the videos are. I watch em all . Sundown ftmfw
Same sundown for the mfinf win

About to run these and the 6x9's in my car with a single X15 V1. Hopefully they can keep up.
They sound amazing on video . Are they better free air in the door of a vehicle or sealed . And are they better on or off axis?
Hye Derek, you should do another video of these in a door or box. I put 4 in my stock class Malibu build and I'm very impressed with them.
What amp do you recommend pushing those to full RMS? And possibly then some more lol
I’m just trying to replace my factory speakers, if I just swapped these sundown speakers out with the factory, would the factory amp be ok to listen to them with?
@@justinmanny86 I’ve been trying to figure that out lol, have you come up with anything?

How much wattage are you putting to each speaker here in this demo?

I don't mind the long videos. As long as you post them up.

The new sa-6.5" components are already available. Video coming soon.
Sundown Audio unofficial Lol 😂 duh I thought they were only 50 watts rms. So I thought there might have been a upgraded version one coming
What song is that? Those are amazing.
Different speakers but are the lmcr variant comparable? For door/dash speakers
How are the 6x9s? Im coin tossing between the S.A 6x9s and the CDT 6x9s.
I need a 6.5 2 ohm..??? Any ideas? Mid bass not too deep mounting
Where's the 6.5 sa component test? Btw long videos don't bother me their always good
Are they water resistant? I’d like to put them on my motorcycle
What are the gain and crossover settings for this test?
I Love long videos on things Im interested in.
I agree, ppl complain about the wrong things. The more info the better.

Love your videos man! Theyre always perfect length and very informative! Keep up the great work!

Usually component set for the front, coaxial for the rear.
Will these pair good with a crescendo s4
Are these weather proof? I’m currently searching for a pair of speakers for my can-am spyder

What gauge speaker wire is recommended for 6.5’s?
I have a chevy silverado single cab 2014 . Can someone tell me the sizes of the speakers that fit
Is there going to be any 6x9 like that?
What is the spec frequency response. Can go 37hz down at least?
They definitely sound better than the 3rdmillenim coaxial I just out in my MX5. What is the wed address to order these.
No cap for the tweeter?
Revisit with enclosure like you mentioned will be nice.
Do y’all have 5x7 or 6x8’s or do you have any plans for them?
Would these work as a factory replacement in a 2005 GMC Sierra’s front doors?
How do they compare to the e series?
Bro I’ve been looking for Bass heavy 6.5 speakers and I wanna know if this is bass heavy?
Yes they are, you see that free air

Are y'all making these in a 5.25"?
DANG SOUND STRONG , IF I BUY THOSE I DONT THINK IT WILL SOUND AS GOOD AS THE DEMO LOL
Excellent video brother nicely well done spoken words of wisdom knowledge and truth spoken from a very wise man
Would be nice if you could start doing demos of product in vehicle give us all a better idea of how they sound in vehicle..

a 5x7/6x8 version would be nice too. some of us just don't have a ride worth putting door panels in..LOL
Would those fit in a 2016 honda accord sport door🤔?
Is there a sundown 4x6 speaker or something that would fit in the dash of my 1998 s10
Is there a component version?
Are these Marine rated?

What’s the name of that song?
How do the damn grills go on
How do you have the amp set to run these
Do you sell recone kits for your 6.5's?
Someone is selling a pair but froze one up.
good to see the terminals are oriented for easier connections than the v1’s
Bro , are they available in 2 way components, or hopefully 3 way would be sweet too ????
I love a good 3 way😉

Whats the depth on these?
Can yall review sundown neo pros
Damn!! Want these for my Harley
I was thinking the same thing! I woul like to see these go head to head with the new diamond audio 6.5

Those are bad ass and handles the mid bass pretty good!
I need these in my life
You need $200 in those shallow pockets 😂😂😂
Need higher powered speakers for motorcycles. Can’t wait to hear these tho
Will these fit in a 06 Silverado without doing modifications?
Junior Macias I am wondering the same thing
Its sound alright. Sorry im a audiophile but I'm sure does coaxial speakers would sound way better as a midbass with clear voice and tweeter
Not bad, not bad at all....
Separate terminals for the tweeters to allow biamping would make them even awesomer... :-)
CT speakers are nearly identical! Must be the same manufacturer in China
holy crap, those speakers really dance
Doesn’t dance as good as yo mama tho
Marine certified/safe?
What's the mounting depth on these bad boys?
Looks huge. I'd guess 5"+.
I love me some sundow audio

6x9s are out of stock right now. More are on the way but dont have an exact ETA on them yet.
Neo pro v3 or sa 6.5?

6x9 in the doors
@@bucsTILLdeath better than 6.5"'s
More surface area, more air displacement. Means better mid bass. But some ppl say 6x9 and 5x7 sound weird. I can't tell a difference lol
Them 4×10's in the back of old suburbans sound weird.
Them thangs flexin harder then my 12 lmao
