Graeme point the camera at the hole! 🤣🤣🤣
Interesting technique but doesn't work where I dig. I have to take out one and a half spits to get down to the worms. Lug are always in the second spit - but white rag are in the first.
Well I know what I’m doing this morning, fed up keep buying these. Cheers pal excellent thanks 👍🎣
far easier just to dig between the breather hole and the cast
Always spot dig and usually get worm in second spade full. Take out half a spade depth just beyond a line between cast and hole. Then go straight down with spade about 4 inches in front of line. You can judge the depth at which you start finding the worm.
A "fishing guide" who doesn't know the difference between black lug, yellow tails & blow lug! Remind me NOT to hire this guy as a guide. FML
I wonder if the fish know as well ?.. I mean they will surely treat with disdain a humble blow lug when they realise a fresh pumped black lug supposed to be the best bait ? Or maybe the fish don't read the same bait I.D. books and eat pretty much what is in front of them if they are hungry ?
Nice to see a video on bait digging. I do a lot of bait digging for lug and over time have found the potatoe fork better than a garden fork. It has wider and flatter tines ( prongs)which helps gives you a cleaner hole when you dig. I have also taken off the original handle and welded on a longer stainless T bar handle a lot easier on the back.
Who was holding the camera??
Can you please redo the vid.
Feeling a bit entitled today are we?
113000 people after watching this video even didnt bothered to press LIKE, do you think they will be bothered to dig for worms with forks? LOL
can those live under normal soil? or can u reproduce em? something like farm out of those
A pump is easier and faster and u can go in water
you will find it a lot easier by using a flat tine fork .. that fork you're using it let's to much sand through so by using a flatter tine fork you will move more sand and keep the trench a lot cleaner .
widely spaced tines are used to prevent the worms breaking up.
The darker almost black blow lug definitely tougher. They are my favourite especially the ones with the yellow tails. I usually find then in darker sand that has more crushed cockle shell in it. You can feel the right ground with the fork when you get used to it.
Get a bait pump ... too much hard graft digging
Congradulations on 70k subs!! Didn't take that long to get from 40k!!!! Just wondering if you guys are ever going to videos where you focus on JUST fishing, not how to's ? I don't mean never doing how to's just meaning a few vids where it's just about fishing!?!
Pavel Kane Hi Pavel, are you relatively new to our channel? If so, we have plenty of videos on just fishing. Check out our channel and go to the playlists section. You can look up some of our new series like "Beach Quest" - our beach fishing series and "Spring Tide" our boat fishing series. Let us know what you think if you haven't watched them already. We have done plenty of videos with just fishing. If you are a freshwater fisherman, check out "Dropshot Diaries" for the dropshotting videos and "Bite Time" for the carp fishing series. Hope that helps - Mike
spot digging is much easy way to get them
Great video more like that please.
Please please please? Don't put MUSIC on these videos!
I was thinking that a mosquito was on my screen on your name
Lol
Us east coast delaware. Worms on the Usa atlantic?
Would it not be better to use an actual shovel? Or would the shovel just cut them in two?
mike rotch Shovel would chop them, and possibly be a back breaker if used for a long time.Wet sand and a shovel ? Only need to add cement and I'd be building my own pier out to sea !
No it would easier to use a shovel but everyone who digs worms isn’t very clever and just carried on struggling with a fork now that a genius like you has pointed it out they will all start using shovels !
Can you fish in Exmouth Devon sea fishing
First comment and fifth like
First comment and fifth like!
isn't that minehead
Or just use a pump
Or use a bait pump?
not in that sand bait pumps only really work on wet sand not all beaches are good for pumps the ground has to be just rite
lol absolute rubbish the guy is clueless
18th comment hueheh
Thanks for all the help
How do you store them and keep them alive?
best to keep in shallow trays of sea in fridge water change sea water for fresh every two days and remove any dead worms will last for weeks or just store in damp news paper in fridge will last upto a week
Do you eat them before one week and what temperature oven do you do them on. Thanks
Great video !
Thanks
THANK YOUUUU MATE !!!!
Glad he said to fill in trenches....... Make sure you do. as I don't want to lose digging on any more great beaches to careless diggers who wreck the environment!
Pumping is easier and quicker both for blow and black lug
