Nick, the sound of your voice indicates your joy at harvest. We have all been praying for this day and several more, as needed, with great numbers. God is always there in your families’ work. This day, and the way you accept it’s mixed blessings shows how all of us should behave. Thank God, pray for great harvest days and watch His miracles bless your family.
Scott, when welding thin stuff. Put a bar of aluminum or brass on the back side as a chill bar. I have used 30 amp min setting welders to weld super thin stuff with a chill bar.
Great video guys! Everybody played a part. Kobe was hilarious. Bob was trying to determine if he should load him up or not and Kobe was like "what's the big deal?" Nice to see the header full of wheat and not scraggly wheat and weed heads rolling along.
Thanks for another great and wonderful video. Thanks for the drone footage. Always enjoy your drone footage and a look at the combines running at harvest. Great views. Thanks. Am so pleased you have some fields with good production. Believe you said in that 25-30 bushels per acre. Yeah. Prayers answered. That is great for a change. Colby really running after the rabbits and such. He is a goer for sure. Bob you are very good to him. He runs real good. Except when he gets in the smelly water pond. Oh my. Hang in there bob!!!!!!!! Will continue to send prayers for continuing rain. Prayers for a real good year next year!!!!!!! Scott that shield really got a big hole in it from something in the field. Fix it for now and put on a new one for next year. Glad to see everyone feeling better about wheat production in these last fields. Lifts the spirits!!!!!!! Great!!!!!!!! All for now. My compliments to you all on your farming spirit!!!!!! Love the Welkers and their families. Take care and be safe. Prayers your way. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve
You know Nick, a video of nothing but your drone videoagraphy, would be worth seeing in my book anyway. Glad that harvest is coming along nicely. We start in a couple weeks. God bless you all. Bob there is no greater love than a man for his dog, than to welcome the dog back in combine, after he cooled off in the duck pond 😂 You guys are good people 😊
Awesome video fellas. All of you make it look like childs play. with the exception of Leg Arms, he's always breaking something. Here's a good laugh for him. Back several years ago while i was in school someone was being a smart ass (the instructor of the class). Handed me 2 soad cans and said go have some fun. Took them back and cut the top and bottom off both, then cut them open so they'd lay flat then welded them together. Yep. I had already done everything that he was grading us on and didnt care if we screwed around like that. Actually he encouraged it just to give us more experience with different metals. That wheat was looking awesome. 🚜🚜🚜
In the Southern High Plains area we use a grain sorghum fallow wheat rotation. 2 crops in 3 years. Our average moisture of 18 inches. On good years we 70 bu sorghum 45 wheat on our clay loam soil. Best 100 and 60 bu. The last years have been 10 bu. CRP is no-tilled with good ground cover using planter disk opener to keep moisture.
11:12 I’m sure happy you got a few Fields with some numbers. You can get your Seed. Hopefully you can get graces in any contract you have to honor. Good seeing Buddy Colby Dad thanks and God be with you all! 🙂 ❤️🖖🏼 🇺🇸
Great video. So good to see.the harvest is going ok. Praying you all break even, save seeds for next year and make enough to move forward another year. God Bless.
So. We were out in your neck o da woods last week. The WeedIt System looks like it is worth it's weight. Fields look waaay better already! Scott's house looks amazing! Nick's is on it's way.
Well Fellows what can one say, Golden grain, from the rolling plains,Coby & Bob having fun & games, those long eared Jack Rabbits are about again, running & jumping across that Golden Wheat Plains, then those pesty Coyotes are showing up again,Bob is having a hard time controlling Coby again, but he let him free ,he was chasing them with Glee,Oh Coby you been in that diry water hole you smell to high heaven, but I have to let him in the Cabin again,or your Fans will complain, Nick you have done a wonderful job again, your Drone shots were perfect ,a joy to watch, showing every bit of action across that beautiful Golden Wheat Plain, from spraying the weeds out to harvesting the grain, now Scott your the Mr fix it Man, you sure welded that flimsy shield again, but to the field of Golden Grain, Bravo Scott you saved the day again, looks like rain is ascending across the plain, so its Harvesters at full speed again, to get as much grain before it rains, Loved the video Fellows God Bless keep these wonderful videos coming, Cheers & Best Wishes, Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloela Qld Australia.👍🐕🐎🦄🦌🐂🐃🐄🐖🐗🐏🐑🐐🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦃🐔🐓🦆🦢🦋🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌴🍇🍉🍊🍌🍍🥭🍏🍎🍐🍑🥑🌽
Happy the wheat harvest is yielding great crops. Always get a crack out of coby and how he jumps off a moving combine lol. What a trooper. My dogs do the same after rabbits. They go crazy. Your Pete and International trucks sure are hauling the weight. Makes me want to come out for a visit lol. God Bless from your biggest fan in Sarnia Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 love this channel.
Hey! So glad that your wheat harvest is going good! You have had some really good yields this year! Hope you got some rain , you can use it! Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy and happy! 🌾🌾
Fallow is an important risk mangment tool for the marginal country in Australia. If there’s good early rain it’s sown to canola, if not it’s chem fallowed, which is exceptional for weed control and moisture harvesting for the next year. Although it’s not cheap to maintain a good fallow
just love the drone intros, Coby and everyone. Guessing a grain cart would not be economical or you would have built one by now? None of the intros will ever beat that incredible night sprayer night show. Have watched 5-6 times so far.
Hi Nick, I think the thing on the suspension you couldn´t name on Apache Sprayer is what they call a Torson Bar, to keep the axle form moving from side to side.
Hey Mr Robert how are you doing glad you are getting to harvest some good wheat I need you to pray for me I have had a heart attack just getting well enough to enjoy you and the family's videos ag😮
Bob is sure good to Coby. That sulphur smell gets to a person after awhile, especially in a tight space. 😮 It is nice to see you realizing some fairly good yields.
Happy to see some better yields this year. Thanks for the camera placement angles too. Not unnoticed here. Great video as always. Prayers for some water for winter wheat.
Nick, the rod locating the rear axle of the apache, in auto racing we call that a "track bar". Bob, watching your combine mate chasing the rabbits around reminded me of a dad joke.... Do you know how to catch a unique rabbit? Unique up on him. Do you know how to catch a tame rabbit? The tame way. lol It was great seeing that 40+ bushel number, I wish all your SW was like that. All the best from Wisconsin
Nick, years ago when farmers were able to update their base and yield, the guys who summer fallow increased theirs yields a lot more then the guys who continuously cropped. Be careful with Chem fallow because we also found out you have to do tillage. The weeds became chemical resistance
Happy to see you had some good yield. Hope you got the rain and it helps for winter and beyond. Thanks for sharing. Oh by the way another great intro. Keep em coming.
What year is the ol binder..Kool truck..loved watching Coby chasing critters..lol.. hope you folks are safe and have a great harvest.. from southwestern Ontario Canada..
I wasnt watching this channel for few months and now iam back and i remember when Dad Welker was just doing those short clips with dog :D and now he is full time youtuber :D
Scott when welding sheetmetal ,use push technique to lessen penetration ,keeping arc over front edge of weld pool .I saw u dragging the gun . have a nice day scott
We chem-fallow a third of our ground each year. Grow winter wheat, then the next grow a forage crop, and then fallow the next to put wheat in the fall. Helps with weed control.
I feel it is important for me to give prayers of thanks for your bountiful harvest and continued prayers that your average rainfall continues to increase. Thanks for the harvest videos, my favorite time of year.
Did you see the hammer mills for the combines to crush the weed seeds at the farm show in illinois? Harrington weed destructor, etc. They've finally made it from Australia. THat would help with the Kosha.
We averaged 100 bushel an acre on our wheat. But we get a lot of rain through our growing season. We did a lot of fertilizer on all our land for all our wheat corn and soybeans.
🔥heck ya welkers… I don’t no why but really are my fav farmers on the tube, very happy for the farm with that beautiful wheat 🌾 harvest.. bob you make my day every time you on the cam, really enjoy your knowledge and mindset, jokes too.. John Deere 😂. 🔥👊🔥🏍🔨⚙️🚜🌾also nick your editing is amazing man. Sway bar
Glad yields are good. Have a safe harvest. Its fun watching the dog chase rabbits. Speaking from experience, please watch out. The dog will focus on the rabbit and can run right into the combine. I've seen it happen to neighbors dog. It was not a good ending. So, again be safe and have a great harvest. I really enjoy the videos.
nick you can refill those front apache struts. take it off (1 and 1/8 socket and wrench) and go to the bench, lay it flat, take the big allen head nut out SLOWLY, because it is under pressure. then refill with hyd oil, just cycle the ram a couple times to get air out. it will leak off, but those suckers are expensive!
Rain is our friend and enemy. On my farm we have have had a warm summer with enough rain. Our issue now is that we have a 100-130bu/ac crop standing and we cant harvest it because of rain. The last 21 days we have got ~30hours of combine time. We have decided that we harvest if we get under 25% moisture and using dryer on it to get it down to 15%. The oats have not not started with yet, but it looks really good too.
Man I wouldn’t be able to keep farming with that yield it would just cover my input costs.I average between 50-90 bushels here in Alberta. My hat goes off to you guys I don’t know how you do it🤙
Question: When you do peas, is that rotational to your wheat to put nitrogen back into the soil? Kind of how the corn farmers also do soy? With the effect that was noted about chem fallow, does that mean a 4 year rotation might be the way to go? (Wheat - fallow - peas - fallow - repeat). Glad to hear you had some good acres of wheat this year. It's so heartwarming to see those truckloads of food going to the bin, and eventually into our daily bread.
Coby was chasing the various animals with dogged determination. Best wishes to all the Welkers, big, little, and four legged. PB&J rocks!😊
Nick, the sound of your voice indicates your joy at harvest. We have all been praying for this day and several more, as needed, with great numbers. God is always there in your families’ work. I can't figure out who's having more fun your Dad or the doggo😊
Your dad is so cool. It's great to see a family get along and be able to work together.
Can't beat the sight of wheat rolling across the auger of that header, feeding a nation. Thanks guys!
I’m happy for your wheat yield. Everyone’s spirits are lifted.
You should strap on a 30 gallon tank on the side of the combine and that way you could wash him off after he gets into stinky water and mud.
Scott, when welding thin stuff. Put a bar of aluminum or brass on the back side as a chill bar. I have used 30 amp min setting welders to weld super thin stuff with a chill bar.
Colby is having a good harvest!!
He did such a good job Guarding it ?
Great video guys! Everybody played a part. Kobe was hilarious. Bob was trying to determine if he should load him up or not and Kobe was like "what's the big deal?" Nice to see the header full of wheat and not scraggly wheat and weed heads rolling along.
Glad to see your northern fields with great yields. Prayers for a better harvest than last year. Hope the rain helps for water content in the soil
It is always great to see decent harvest. There is no guarantees in life and farmers understand that better than just about anyone.
Love to see the harvest happening! Thanks for sharing it all, Coby chasing the animals, along with the bucks, etc.
Thanks for another great and wonderful video.
Thanks for the drone footage. Always enjoy your drone footage and a look at the combines running at harvest. Great views. Thanks.

Those level land combines and all that flat land are so cute. Really enjoying the videos.
That old Cornbinder does sound good!
It's great to see you harvesting. I've missed seeing the family gather during harvest.
I’ll be hearing the international truck in my sleep excellent wheat fellas!
Congrats on the increased yield! It's always good to see Mr. Bob & Coby! Love the drone footage too, thanks Nick!
May want to get a dust plug in that left drive axle brake chamber. Have seen them packed full……. Right full. Great video as always
Your dry land farming is a whole different game and skill set. I would fail. Very interesting and informative.
Nice job you two kids. Nice to hear that. Little giggle box. She is a happy little squirt.
Happy the wheat harvest is yielding great crops. Always get a crack out of coby and how he jumps off a moving combine lol. What a trooper. My dogs do the same after rabbits. They go crazy. Hey! So glad that your wheat harvest is going good! You have had some really good yields this year! Hope you got some rain , you can use it! Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy and happy! 🌾🌾
Glad Bob is just rocking on today
I love how the closed captioning said "music" when the truck rumbled away.
Lol👍🍻
So glad your family is having a great wheat harvest. Finely 🎉😊
Trust me, I love hearing all you guys, Nick, Dad etc. but I look forward to hearing Leg/Arms input. Be safe, men, God Bless.
Glad your yield is up. Kobi is a happy dog living the good life.

At least you have something for the season. Thanks for sharing your harvest with us.
I love the bond between Bob and Coby! Congratulations on having better yields in your northern fields.
Colby deserves to ride in the combine after all the critter chasing!
Half inch of rain sounds like a blessing for the farm
It's always great being a part of harvest
just love the drone intros, Coby and everyone. Guessing a grain cart would not be economical or you would have built one by now? None of the intros will ever beat that incredible night sprayer night show. Have watched 5-6 times so far.
nuts -night sprayer light show.
Hi Nick, I think the thing on the suspension you couldn´t name on Apache Sprayer is what they call a Torson Bar, to keep the axle form moving from side to side.
Thanks to Coby, I think your dad came across a new scent air freshener he could call "Feet".....That's going to be a fun combine to work in.
Hey Mr Robert how are you doing glad you are getting to harvest some good wheat I need you to pray for me I have had a heart attack just getting well enough to enjoy you and the family's videos ag😮
Very good to see you having a good wheat harvest
From Australia 🇦🇺
Bob is sure good to Coby. That sulphur smell gets to a person after awhile, especially in a tight space. 😮 It is nice to see you realizing some fairly good yields.

You are right about the rain I live in south central Kansas and the crops here have run out of moisture and look pretty bad.
Nick, years ago when farmers were able to update their base and yield, the guys who summer fallow increased theirs yields a lot more then the guys who continuously cropped. Be careful with Chem fallow because we also found out you have to do tillage. The weeds became chemical resistance
You can put some clear packing tape over the rear window ( both sides ) and you'll never have to replace the Glass
3:09 oh i love coby such a good dog
Great coverage! Love that Apache sprayer.
Happy to see you had some good yield. Hope you got the rain and it helps for winter and beyond. Thanks for sharing. Oh by the way another great intro. Keep em coming.
The power of an inch of rain does create a paradise
What year is the ol binder..Kool truck..loved watching Coby chasing critters..lol.. hope you folks are safe and have a great harvest.. from southwestern Ontario Canada..
Life Pro Tip: Find something you want to pursue as much as Coby pursues rabbits.
Thanks Coby and guy's.....Blessing Brother in Christ = ❣💟🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌬🌠✝ 👍

That field looked good all year. Lots of galloping wheat around this year.
Great that you got in some good yielding wheat, wished it all could've been like that.

Great to see that classic International truck again - the series where you found and restored it was why I Subbed 🙂
You guys earned a win, hope it keeps going well.

Thanks for the heads up! I plan on taking them off and giving them to our local dealer to rebuild. Yes they are like $2k each! 🤯

Just 200 miles west it 90-100 bushels an acre. Great job guys.
You guys are the best , pulling for ya to have a good year
That's cool. I had a dog rode with me on everything liked chasing Jack's. He actually caught a few. Even caught a pheasant once.
Great news with the wheat and Colby steals the show lol
Love the drivetrain shots!
Wow lucky for you guys here in Nova Scotia we had suck a terrible yield from all the rain
"Wow, great video! I loved every minute of it and learned so much. Keep up the fantastic work!"
Robert, when you asked us if you should let him in, I felt that you would.
Outstanding video! Glad you're getting some crop yield and Kobe is getting his exercise. Always something eh, L.A.? (panhard bar) on the Apache.
Man I wouldn’t be able to keep farming with that yield it would just cover my input costs.I average between 50-90 bushels here in Alberta. My hat goes off to you guys I don’t know how you do it🤙
