Am really pleased for you Martin, I have been on the same journey. At 70 was diagnosed T2D with glucose at 85 . At the time was told to carry on as normal and not to change my diet. Also prescribed "Metformin". Never took the medicine but discovered keto so embraced that and also set myself a goal of walking 1000 miles in a year, Completed that in 258 days. My glucose went down to 45 and was told the metformin was working, they were amazed when I said I had never taken it. Now at 75 people tell me I will out live them but I reply "do your research" if you want to be healthy. You have to remember that this lifestyle makes no money for processed food manufacturers, diet companies or drug companies, that's why they hate it. Carry on with your journey towards being in control of your diet ... I wish you all the best. PS never take statins....

So true. The other thing I've noticed is how many people suffer from allergies now, some life threatening such as nuts, but when I was at school in the 50's/60's I don't remember any kids suffering from allergies.
@@mattbuk The problem is "food" in the old days was exactly that, food. Would you call crisps, biscuits, white bread, dry pasta, pizza, doughnuts and many others lining our supermarket shelves, food?
As a cancer suffer myself and been down the road of chemotherapy and currently having four weekly infusions, to boost my immune system , I can tell you that the current statistics for getting cancer is now set 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with it. You have to ask yourself this why when so much money has been poured into cancer research are the statistics for getting it are now far worse than they have ever been ? And the answer is lifestyle, processed foods , factory farmed animals , cows are now being kept in barns all their life this has nothing to do with a better product for us it’s all for more money for supermarkets, and to hell with animal welfare. I am so glad that you are healthier and feeling more alive long may it continue. My advice to anyone is buy the best quality meat you can afford , it tastes better and is far better for you.
"why when so much money has been poured into cancer research are the statistics for getting it are now far worse than they have ever been " - simple. Because it's not what you think and "they" want people to die. It's all by design. CR is a total fraud. $600 billion is the guess for how much CR has received in it's time. Get a book called "Cancer outside the box"
Great to hear, Martin. I started carnivore September 23 , mainly for my weight. I didn’t expect the added health benefits but am feeling much better too. The biggest surprise was to see my Chronic Kidney disease improve from e GFR 53 to eGFR 75. Shocking as I was always told to avoid salt and red meat 😊. Moved from level 3 to mid level 2. My nephrologist will now discharge me. Not to mention how much better I feel, no bloating, no reflux, no pain. I lost over 2 stone and am still going down but I do fit size 12 now! I forgot to say I don’t use table salt. I use Himalayan salt and real salt redmond. I will definitely not go back to eating the SAD diet.
I'm so glad your better martin. I'm in my 70s. I was terrified going on carnivore. But after 2 months im off all meds. Lost one and half stone, feel bloody marvellous. No brain fog, energy up, actually feel happy. I had to slowly up my fat intake, but no problem now. I hope all your family follow in your footsteps. All the best.
Amazing! Went on carnivore 2 months ago. Seing wonderful results. My digestion works perfectly, no more bloating, allergy almost gone, eyesight improving, lost so much fat, got beautiful muscle.
@@NandiSpeelman-y8y I now do 5 mini-meals: breakfast: 2 pork sausages with some butter, 2.meal: 100g of salmon or other fatty fish, 3. meal: egg waffles with some butter, 4. meal: 100g of steak plus butter, 5.meal: boiled eggs or organ meats with some butter. You can replace butter with lard or tallow. This is my current meal plan which I enjoy. However I recently heard that we do need little bit of fiber. Planning to try to add little bit of asparagus or artichoke daily.
My grandparents lived into their 90's. Queen Victoria was still on the throne when my great nan was little, ( RIP great nan 1898 to1986). My great nan and my grandad used to eat very little veg, my grandad used to poor the meat fat, juices over his dinner for gravy, beef dripping sandwiches, proper butter and salt
Good on you mate! You're bang on. I'm mid-sixties, did keto for a few years; now carnivore at 66 (no fruit or veg for about a year now). Changed my life!! Reversed everything. My only gripe is, I wished I'd done this decades ago! Government guidelines are making us sicker and sicker - there's no money in healthy (or dead) people; by keeping us sick for longer makes companies' a lot, lot richer. The food industry wants us to eat their crap whilst the pharmacuetical companies provide the medication. It's no wonder Nestle has a joint venture with a phamacuetical company (as I'm led to believe).
Thanks for sharing! Love your story, so inspiring. When people first learn that I eat a red meat-based diet, they keep asking ' Aren't you afraid of getting cancer or heart attack?" These days, they're the ones with joint pain, all sorts of illnesses and taking so much medication and I'm here still enjoying my meat and jogging around the track like a 25 year old. They don't dare ask any more.
Thanks mate! What a joy to hear and English bloke talk about these things. I’m 67 and exactly like you in terms of what you’ve experienced. I’ve been diabetic for 25 years and keto helped somewhat but I’m now fully carnivore. Nothing to lose except weight. If I don’t do this I won’t be around for much longer. I’ve already had bypass surgery. If I even look at a carb my blood sugar is through the roof. If I eat a small amount of carbs I need 100+ units of insulin. Been on carnivore 2 weeks, yesterday I only needed 10 units. By the way, insulin is a killer, too! God bless you, Martin! You’re proving it works!
Good luck to you! It won't disappoint if done correctly. Even a few mistakes will be ok if they don't become a habit. When Martin comes back let us know how you're doing too. Carnivore is a great community ❤
@@nancyjackson2279 Thank you! Yes, I’ve discovered how supportive and loving the carnivore community is across the world! Have you come across HomesteadHow? He’s done amazing 🤩 work for needy people. God bless you.
I'm 74. I started on Keto for 2 and a half years and switched to carnivore 18 months ago. My waist before I started was 42, it's now 32. I've dropped 85 pounds. Many of the health issues I had such as acid reflux, joint pain, auto-immune rashes, sleep apnea, and painful bowel movements are gone. I was prediabetic and had very high blood pressure. I'm no longer prediabetic and my blood pressure is now128/62. It's it's been an amazing journey back to health - keep up the good work.
Best thing I ever did Carnivore and fasting - the perfect combo. It's been almost 15 months now. It has completely changed my life not only in terms of weight loss (80lbs so far) but in terms of health benefits (too many to list) and have officially been taken off all medications. It was actually buying an airfryer and searching for recipes that led me not only to you but also to carnivore. - So easy to throw some protein in the airfryer with little effort. So thank you for that and so glad you are reaping the rewards of Carnivore too.
We have been brainwashed by govs to eat 5 a day, most of our food contains Bioenginered additives Well done, you are an insprition, you have proved that how you eat now works 👏
@@awraith4569good meat over veg any day. Plants have no horns or teeth to protect themselves but a nut can kill just as easy as a lion. Plants are slow death from a metabolic health standpoint, all foods should be glucose tested. We are all different.
Brilliant video Martin. I am pleased that you have managed to get your health back in order doing the carnivore diet. I suffered with gout for many years so started first low carb then kept & now I am doing carnivore. I've been doing this in total for about 1.5yrs and lost 60lbs in weight. My gout has cleaned up & through eating meat! You are right when you mention what we are educated about. Keep up the great progress from a man in South Wales!
I was diagnosed with gout while still at school, but never medicated - diet controlled. Everyone seems to have different food sensitivities for gout. Low-carb for a few years myself now - meat based, but I do eat a lot of cheese. No problems with the gout for years. Recognising the nutritional value of organ meats, but knowing them to be one of my gout sensitivities, I have even consumed liver in the form of pate with no adverse effects. It seems that avoiding the sugars gives us more leeway.
Well done Martin, I watch Ken Berry and his wife. Love their channel. I used to do keto I was at my best for 5 years and I slipped of the wagon. I never struggled but I was obsessed with it. I started having a little of this and that and now I'm back to square one. What am I doing. I love this lifestyle but I just can't resist. Watching you has made me want to get straight back on it. Results are fast and we know how healthy we feel. I also felt my best ever in my life. I'm on it now. Thanks for your inspiration and well done both of you ❤x
Well done Martin 👏 wonderful results and it can only get better. You’ve taken ownership of your health, diabetes getting under control. The effort, research and enthusiasm is paying off, very happy for you 🤗
Good for you, mate . I'm in the UK too, and I grew up with the same food advice. I went from a keto diet to carnivore two months ago and it has practically eradicated my autoimmune disease 👍. Eating fat has improved my mental health also and I am no longer on antidepressants. I did plenty of my own research and spoke only of my own experiences. I'm so glad you are seeing such great results. 👍
Good to hear that Martin is becoming normal 😉 lol. Great news that your feeling much better, I'm older then you by a wee bit and am on month 4 of carnivore and highly recommend it. I was dying slowly, pre diabetes, aches, pains, weird symptoms, heart palpitations, shortness of breath and physically, basically useless. Things have improved greatly and I have no plans of going back to the modern-day way of eating that was killing me
good for you! 84 and started 3 months back but I had to go LIONS diet because I am very allergic to even the smallest amount of dairy and egg whites too. Now I eat only meat and had to clarify the butter. I am still tired and have leg cramps at night. But what the hell, after all this body is 84 and well used and I am doing not bad. best to you.Elizabeth.
@@soloauditorYou might not be getting enough Potassium or Magnesium which can cause leg cramps… Carnivore is a fantastic way of eating but if you don’t have a huge appetite you might not be getting as many vitamins and minerals as someone with a voracious appetite!

Keep up with the good work and always stay positive in what you’re doing, you are showing others what can be done including myself. My blood sugar levels were 71 in November when I was diagnosed with type two diabetes and today at the doctors I was told they are down to 61, I’ve lost about a stone and a half in the same time.
Martin, OUTSTANDING...you've virtually described every symptom I've been experiencing in the past few years...Im now going to do the carnivore lifestyle. I'm on with researching what to eat and how to cook it...again thanks❤
Maybe I can help with the food part?? If you see my comment above I have been carnivore for 3 months now and have had great results even at the age of 71. This is what I buy and eat in a typical week. 20% fat ground beef, 1kg braising steak (slow cook), chicken thighs/legs (air fry), 2 mackerel (air fry), 3 tins sardines in spring water (from Sainsbury @ 60p a tin), pork belly ( I cut in thin strips and cook like bacon), lambs liver ( I fry and add curry paste), 15 eggs, cheese and butter. My shopping bill averages £32 per week.
Great to hear! I've been Carnivore for over a year! Feel better than ever, lost over 70lbs, reversed type 2 diabetes and so much more! You have to be brave to go against the main stream but it's amazing what we are learning through HEALING and NOT taking medications!!! YOUR BODY WAS MADE TO HEAL!!!! You can do this!! Keep it up brother!
Hello Martin, nice to meet you. Im in the US and have been carnivore for 3 yrs, after losing 107lbs doing keto. Wanted more healing so went carnivore. Also i love the easiness of meal prep. So thanks for your update, and ill be back with your next update. Take care and best of luck to your wife and or friends now trying it.❤
Wow, you really are a good advert for carnivore diet, a 50 year old I know has done it for a few weeks and he's had to adjust his belt by 2 notches and it's visible the weight he's lost and he looks good on it ❤
Hi Martin great Chanel my wife and I watch every post and also been following the carnivore journey. We are on week 6 now both 9kg down but weight loss seems to have slowed down or stopped. We kind of miss the social side of cooking but as we also stopped alcohol consumption we have no aches in our bodies which is brilliant. Thanks for the inspiration from your content you both are amazing. Dave and Sarah Grantham
I lost 50 Kg on the carnivore diet, I've stayed with it and it's been good for me. I will now have an occasional non carnivore treat, but you have to think why they really want to ban meat. They want an unhealthy population. Wheat products are worse than sugar, because they either use GMO or a different kind of wheat they developed that gave a higher yield.
I was doing running solid past 10 years. Now i lost alot weight. About 4 years ago i lost my sister and got depressed so ate and drank alot and put about 4 stone on. So went back at the running to try and lose it and i couldn't. Everyone told me keep at the running it will work. Even got a treadmill in the house to do extra running and it wouldn't work. Went to doctor and she said running only does so much, even tho my diet wasn't bad. So i joined a gym and went on a diet and ive lost 2 stone in about 3 months. If you all are struggling with health, there is loads options out there. Loads things to do and try and as Martin says do your homework on it. Well done Martin and Shell ❤
I lost 45 lbs doing carnivore. I feel great. I don't suffer from "food noise" anymore. My autoimmune diseases are basically non-existent now. I feel HAPPY. I feel GOOD. and I occasionally have a bit of sugar free dark chocolate because I want to.
Excellent results, well done Martin. You can really see the difference, especially when you look back at your old videos.! Thank you so much for sharing. I've just been diagnosed with type 2, my level is 51 and I'm determined to bring that down. Well done Martin, you are a true inspiration and I can't thank you enough. Xx
After finding out there were NO reported cases of heart disease until some time AFTER seed oil was introduced to our diets, I stopped using oil apart from Olive Oil & now only use Beef Tallow or Pork lard to fry with. It's the same poor research that blames Salt for high blood pressure. As you said, all the recommendations & medical advice, much of which is wrong & based on biased &/or bad research. Example Salt was tested on lab rats & there did prove to be a slight link to higher blood pleasure, however the quantity of salt dose was the equivalent of giving a Human 750g, which would outright kill you many times over. As you say people seeking reality must go past the first few google pages & really look at the data. It's also worth saying that some vitamins can only be dissolved in fat, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K. If you eliminate fat those vitamins will just pass straight through. Fantastic to see someone doing their own vital research.👏👍
Well done Martin!! It does go beyond all you know and have been taught but proof is in the pudding as they say!! So glad not only to hear you're feeling better but also your health is improving. You're a fantastic family and I really appreciate all the videos you bring us ❤
Well done, Martin. I have suffered from bloating. I love vegetables. I always thought they were good for me . For two weeks, we have been eating carnivores with in a day my bloating went away, I feel much better already losing weight. So, thank you for this Vlog.
Well done. Martin. Ive been a few yrs now. without veg. After trying vegan, vegetarian, fruitarian. Now eat just meat eggs and some fruit. Takes some getting through the mindf**k of eat your veg etc. Glad to see you're through it. Love eating but rarely hungry nowadays. Great job.
I love you man, you’re so real and genuine. You make me proud to be British, just a shame I can’t say that about the people that supposedly run the country ❤😂
I’ve been making carnivore lasagne. Instead of sheets of pasta, layer your lasagne with slices of topside. Still make your cheese sauce with butter and good quality cheese. When finished you don’t feel sluggish or full of carbs as no carbs in it. Trust me you won’t look back.
So glad to hear this Martin, and I bet your family are too - it's fantastic that you've both found something that works for both your body and health - Thanks for the positive update , we've been thinking of you! :)))
Congratulations on your results Martin and glad you are feeling better on the carnivore diet. Your journey is your own and thank you for sharing your results. As you say people can do their own research and make there own decisions.
wow that's amazing. Well done. I am in my 60’s and am feeling very fed up with my weight and general health. I am going to try this diet, so please do start posting lots of videos and ideas for following this diet. I would also like to see how Sharon is doing as being a woman we have a lot in common, age etc.
Just found this channel....Fantastic. I did the keto diet and had amazing results, going from 83.3kg to 54.3kg in thirteen months, and like you my blood work came back unbelievable, my doctor was gobsmacked. I want to do carnivore but my family life makes that difficult to sustain at the moment, but aiming to change that. Very well done on your success so far. Any chance of doing a video on what you eat on a daily basis please!
Very good news on all your health results mate . I commented before , whatever you were doing diet/ health wise it is really working for you ,well done . Have a good night guys and keep up with the daily videos. Absolutely brilliant 👍🏻
Amazing results Martin you and Sharon look great and seem happy which is the main thing i can't believe people tear strips off you for the food you eat, proteins and healthy fats are healthy foods, no harm in anyone trying new eating styes like ketogenic or carnivore or even calories counting and if it doesn't agree then change things up, processed food is the enemy.
Well done martin fantastic results. Im 2 weeks into my carnivore diet after watching your videos and seeing how well your both looking. Finding it a little difficult but im going to persevere because of your results.
Keep going! Your body will fight the changes including upset stomachs, temperature increase. It will get easier and remember to drink at least 1.5 litre of water a day. Alternate your proteins so it doesn't get boring. Take time on your own and remind yourself you are getting thinner and better. Maybe take a photo of yourself to see the change. YOU have total control over this and ignore your body complaining? It took time to get ill/overweight and will take time to get better. Keep strong, you won't regret it.
Very impressive, Martin, congratulations!! 🎉🎉 That is truly an inspirational journey you've been on, and thank you for sharing it with us!! Will start doing more research into this, too. Keep up the great work! 👍🏻
I did the carnivore diet for a few months last year and lost almost a stone and half , had amazing results with joint pains and other health issues improved , I have gone right back to my old diet to see what happens because I was missing fruit , and veg etc , and quite slowly over Xmas especially I have introduced things back in my diet , but unfortunately it’s been a mistake really because all the weight and the painful joints , bloating etc have all returned terribly and I have completely felt bad for testing out this return to ‘normal’. Seeing you and Sharon doing this has made me think about attempting Keto or full carnivore again to get back to where I was doing better . Keep going forward , don’t look back as I have to see if it is real , it definitely is , I think the main culprits are bread and the bad oils . 👍🇬🇧👋🏻
Brilliant Martin n Sharon, as iv said before my son has been on the carnivore for months and had a lot lot of health issues Now he is a new man. As I said he researched massively and spoke to family doctor n doctor couldn't believe how well he is now. Good luck 👍
@@cardroid8615 I just eat low carb, staying under 50g of carbs a day, but most days I come in at around 20-30g. I like dairy so I have cheese and cream most days. I suppose if I cut those out, the weight would come down faster, but I wouldn’t be able to stick with going stricter. I wouldn’t have the willpower 😀 I only need to lose another half a stone so I’m happy to go slower as I personally find it more sustainable, but everyone is different. I started on Jan 1st and I’m down 12 pounds without really feeling like I’m cutting down. When I had my blood sugars tested last November they were just under 10. Now down to 7. I need to get it lower but the Dr is satisfied I can do it on my own now.
You guys both look younger every time we see you. Martin your story re cholesterol and inflammatory markers is inspiring. Thank you sharing your blood test results which are miraculous. Drs and nutritionists recently told me to have 7 portions of fruit and veg a day and none-red meat x1 a week only. Pushed potatoes and pasta and rice!! This made my cholesterol go up! So I’m starting the carnivore diet now. I have a repeat blood test in 5 months so will evaluate then. I think high protein diets fill you up and seem to switch off the need for carbs. Also they contain all the amino acids you need. And vitamins/ minerals. Good luck to everyone who’s struggling with their health & they’re starting a carnivore diet too.
Oh Martin thank you so much for sharing this , I’ve heard such good things about the carnivore diet. I wish I could do it but I have haemachromatosis which is iron overload and have been told not to eat too much red meat. I’ve been dying to know your results. So pleased for you . Keep doing what works for you x
Wendy, search youtube for carnivore + haemachromatosis . . . the evidence appears to show that by getting healthy metabolically, you improve your body's ability to handle iron. It seems counter-intuitive, but then there are many things about the carnivore diet that way! But, when the evidence goes against the popular narrative, it pays to question that narrative . . . and the evidence already shows that the narrative about cholesterol has been misleading, at best, so why would we expect any different on other aspects of our nutrition and health?
A great account of your journey. Well done! No greens or veggies in my fridge! People are shocked when I tell them, but it’s a fact that they don’t suit my insides. I am active, fit and shapely, and I am 77 in a couple of weeks! Carnivore is the way to go!

This is great man! I came from your LEVOIT silent fan review and going to buy it since it's summer time in the UK using your link, and I was pleasantly surprised that you're also doing carnivore. As someone who's been doing carnivore for two and a half months so far, I've nothing but great things happening on my weight and mental health. Depression and bad thoughts completely gone! From 131 kg (288 lbs/20.7 stone) to 111 kg (244 lbs/17.4 stone) in two months! I plan to reduce my mental health medications as well, and eventually completely get rid of them and beat this so-called "lifelong" illness. Thank you so much for spreading the message! Subbed to your channel!
BIG TIP: One of the best fatty meats for a carnivore diet is Ribeye but for many it is too expensive. The alternative is braising steak which also has a high fat content (called chuck in the USA). This meat needs to be slow cooked for around 3 hours. Best fatty fish is mackerel, yummy cooked in an air fryer. Liver once a week is a must (highly nutritious) - try lambs liver fried with a curry paste of your choice. A lump of pure butter in the morning coffee - delicious. Good luck.
Well done Martin glad your gallbladder as calmed down. I am also type 2 diabetic and have just had my gallbladder removed. When I am fully recovered I will try cutting out the veg as I suffer from bloating. 👍
Carol, look into bile salts. My mum.had her gall bladder out and had trouble eating anything fatty afterwards, giving her pain. Apparently taking bile salts stops this but nobody said anything at the time. It replaces what the gallbladder was doing Best wishes.
What a sweet man! I so admire his self advocacy. He's literally saving his own life. I love the carnivore eating strategy and I won't ever go back to carbs, seed oils, or sugar. Best wishes for continued success!
Congratulations! 🎉 Your results speak for themselves. Is Sharon equally successful? Like you, I began with Keto, eliminating all carbs, no grains, seed oils, etc. I’ve swopped to mainly Carnivore and incorporate 16/8 intermittent fasting. Might you begin to demonstrate what you both generally cook and eat in a typical day?
If you look through their videos from after xmas , you will see what they have been cooking and how easy it was to be selective ,even when eating out .Its truly amazing
I'm 71.Started eating carnivore Jul 2, 2023 I have never felt better. I don't lose fast, I've lost about 22 pounds in 8.5 months. I stalled out when I added sweet potato for 3 weeks and it caused a weight gain. (Many were reporting that would prevent bad cholesterol) so I quit that and began to lose again. I haven't seen the doc and have not been ill. Once I get to my 1 year anniversary, I will have a full physical and bloodwork. To date my BP is down from 168/88 to 134/72; no more insulin deficient problems; I'm never hungry. I eat 5 small meals a day fish (salmon/cod/tuna), chicken, beef, shrimp, pork. Since I don't eat as much beef I don't lose as fast as others. I can't afford the red meat so I eat it 2-3 times a week. Congrats to you and happy healthy living to you and your wife!
Well done , you have done well and are an inspiration to me. One thing I heard you say about researching information was very true. The search engines we use ARE programed to give us certain , selected information first on any topic. That isn't always the correct information we need. I don't know who governs the sites but someone is controlling them.

We were never over weight in the 70s or 80s . Food is bad unless you make it yourself 😊
You've hit the nail on the head. Everything was cooked at home. We had homemade bread every day but the flour wasn't mucked about with either.
To be fair, people were more active back then too. More walking, going outside etc. you cannot say it’s purely down to food.
So true. The other thing I've noticed is how many people suffer from allergies now, some life threatening such as nuts, but when I was at school in the 50's/60's I don't remember any kids suffering from allergies.

Yes, type 2 shouldn't be on insulin as we still produce it. Diet is the only way.
Good luck to you! It won't disappoint if done correctly. Even a few mistakes will be ok if they don't become a habit. When Martin comes back let us know how you're doing too. Carnivore is a great community ❤

Things have improved greatly and I have no plans of going back to the modern-day way of eating that was killing me
Me too and also so many others, I hope people take note.
How did you start the carnivore? Was it cold turkey. Pardon the pun. I made beef burgers last night and ate about 3/4 of it. I missed the ketchup tbh.

Keep doing what works for you x
Are you post menopausal Wendy? This maybe the reason. Try donating blood.

I’m on this now, a few days in, seeing your results motivated me, I’ve seen some vids on YT, I’m so shocked, but you’re proof!!!!! Right, off for a steak! 🥩 please keep the carnivore food vids coming!
Make sure it is a fatty steak such as ribeye or a cheaper alternative is braising steak slow cooked for 3 hours.
Well done and good luck with your transformation bud.
Very interesting, and in my opinion you are looking well on it. Thanks for the info
Good for you!!
Nice mate I'm moving on to the carnivor diet now
BIG TIP: One of the best fatty meats for a carnivore diet is Ribeye but for many it is too expensive. Good luck.
@@stevenhull5025 ref another of your comments: where do you get your 20% ground beef and how much a week?
Carnivore 8 months now and it's close to saving my life. So far only close but still working on it and no way I'll ever give up! ❤❤
Martin, Dr. Baker is an awesome advocate for carnivore way of life. He's here in the Pacific Northwest and has a lot of current news and info.
The results are marvelous! Thank you for this.
Thats boosted your immune system id say. Show us your carnivore recipes. Ive made beef patties and i couldn't eat it all.
Well done , you have done well and are an inspiration to me. One thing I heard you say about researching information was very true. The search engines we use ARE programed to give us certain , selected information first on any topic. That isn't always the correct information we need. I don't know who governs the sites but someone is controlling them.
