Thank you so much for your fantastic build video, i just built my new rig with this motherboard, im so happy runs amazing , your video spurred me on to do it as i havent built a pc in over 10 years. The part we you reset the memory to 3200mhz helped me out a lot , i wouldn't have figured that out right away.

Don't use Sata A and B ports. Had blue screen hard lock ups as it is ran off of asmedia ASM1061 and not the chipset on those two ports. I bought nvme and did away with all my sata devices it caused me that much trouble.
Just did the same build. Same cpu, mobo, and ram. Fun fact, the sata cable included with this motherboard was used on my SSD, and the cable was bad out of the box causing blue screens, and I was ready to RMA it all until I swapped my old sata cable back in.
Only 1 of the heat sink stickers actually fits the heatsinks on the motherboard. lol

Update, sata cable was fine. Turns out the sata A and B ports are ran off of asmedia asm1061 and my old dvd drive blue screens the system, hard lock up, at any time. Infact my 840 ssd also blue screens on these two ports. Known issue since about 2012 with asmedia asm1061. Hopefully someone else stumbles upon this if they are in the same situation.

WIth Stock Intel Cooler i have 90c most of the time and on stress test 100c throttling , I change in bios the Cooler setting from Tower to Stock 65W cooler and now it works max 70c ... But with much lower Clocks . I have the same MOBO .... Now i use Noctua Cooler way more boost clocks and max stress test 65c . But what is Strange are your Temps ... with stock Cooler 80c with Tower cooler bios setting is way way to good . What ambient temp u have?
Hello, I have a question, how to output 5.1 sound through the spdif connector on this motherboard? I have in the settings for some reason only 2.0 sound. In the bios settings, surround sound is enabled, the latest version of realtek control is installed.

I have a similar configuration without the graphics card, but it gives me an error in the cpu led and it turns off, my power supply only has an 8 pin connector, what could be the CPU error? my pieces are new
Did you ever figure it out? I have a very similar build to the one in the video but my PC isn't turning on.
So, my build is:
-mobo = B660m mortar wifi ddr4
-case = corsair 275R airflow
-cpu = i5 12600k
-psu = corsair cx750m
-air cooler = arctic freezer 34 duo
-gpu = 3070/3070 ti (Not yet bought)
I would like to know two things;
1-The case has 3 fans included, I don't know if I can connect them all to the mobo, if I can't, what do I do?
2-Is the build balanced or good?

B660m and i5 12400
I'd choose my third option, MSI B660M Mortar WIFI DDR4 + i5-12600K, because the 12600K has 4 extra efficiency cores and higher boost clocks, even if you don't Overclock it, it's better than an i5-11600K and on a better architecture. It is good to note that you won't be able to overclock the i5-12600K on a B660, but you don't even really need OC with the i5-12600K since it's plenty powerful already I believe.

if you already installed windows , it might be a faulty SSD/HDD, windows corrupted, or boot settings not compatible

#1 get yourself a modular PSU so you don't end up with a rats nest of cables you don't need, you're not going to use everything.
#2 No one is going to say anything about the Intel Box cooler? and then he lied to the bios saying it was a tower?
His CPU ran hot as hell on heaven without extreme settings. any AIO would have kep his cpu way under 60C even at extreme settings.
#3 Zotac card? really? so many reasons to hate zotac like their cut corners on the cheapest fans so its always a risk. poor overclocking ability, poor software, and poor customer support. There is a reason why people get excited on newegg when they win the shop lottery but then drop out when it's a zotac.
