I had an awesome moment this morning at meat Market at local grocery store. Meat cutter came out and heard hubby and I talking about different cuts of steaks. He offered to go cut us a special steak, if we didn't see what we would like. We got talking about Carnivore way of eating. He said his wife is looking more into this way of eating. I was looking to buy some fat trimmings. He said that he would fix us when we were ready. Gave him a few RUclipsrs to have his wife follow. So cool man.

An amazing thing happened while those steaks were grilling. I had just finished cleaning out my wood burning stove and filling it up for tonight's fire, but since it was a warm day here, I still had my windows open, so when I walked back into my office just as the steaks were going on the grill, I swear I could literally SMELL them! I smelled the ash from my stove and the fresh air from the open window and my mind quite literally filled in the rest! That was such an amazing thing! The power of the mind!

Can confirm. I have been on the Carnivore Lifestyle for 1 month and I am already MOSTLY one meal a day. I get up in the morning and I am just not hungry at all!!!

I’ve gotten in a rut and your inviting of strangers over is so inspiring to me! It reminds me how the best meals and hangouts I’ve had have been with strangers😹 either while traveling and staying in hostels or at summer camps I worked at or while backpacking alone and joining up with other hikers. Nothing better than talking over campfires. Thanks for your openheartedness. This is how humans the world over are… we only get scared of each other thanks to the media and news.

If you happen to think of it at the time, and if it's possible... Please turn the grill to face whatever light sources there are, and try to always film with the light sources behind you as well so the people on camera aren't in shadow.

I couldn't believe how many people turned you down at first. If you did that in New Zealand you would have gotten someone immediately. Maori hangi is mostly meat. They would have you round the house in a heartbeat.

Don't forget to tell everyone, they need to eat FAT with their meat. It's super important to get enough fat! At first you can just do 50/50 by how it looks, meat to fat ratio Then adjust according to how you feel :D

I just use some kindling and a torch to ignite the coals, you know, make a chimney with a tin coffee can if you have to.
