It seems the most expressive would be the ducati one, the most balanced the VFR one, the more accurate and sporty one the aprilia V4. I recommend : ruclips.net/video/kH5tTIsPaP8/видео.html Where you can compare the sound. Also depend on CC, bore and stroke, valves, exhaust. My Favorite is the Aprilia one also aviable in the tuono. @@epicengines2565 ? Desmosedichi was also a v4 just as the VFR range always has been. VFR is a less powerful but infinitely more reliable engine setup.
Cool video! Nothing compares to that roaring V4. There should be an exception from noise regulations for vfr's. Always gives me shivers when i ride mine around.
Best bike sound ever, to my ears. Those carbs are so very well tuned, even by dropping the end can, it still runs clean. All I’d do is open up the airbox a little.
I've owned 3 VFR's, they are my all time favorite motorcycles...I mean just listen to this beast! It all started when I was 18 I bought a VFR 400, then later I bought a 1999 VFR 800...sold that..then my last and final one was a 1990 VFR 750 that was perfection and still had it's original tires on it!! No joke...this was like back in 2008, but still crazy. It's good to buy used motorcycles in WA state because they don't always get ridden much!

It’s really too bad they didn’t put the 180 crank in the magna stock, the 360 crank sounds so wimpy in comparison lol. And there’s a billion magnas around where I live, can’t say the same about vfrs
@@Superb_Owl80 No he's talking about the VF motor found in Magna's. The engines are very similar but the VF motor has a 360° crankshaft and the VFR motor has 180° crankshaft making them sound totally different.

Do the rc36's sound any different to the rc46's? I know that the different pipes can make different sounds but i can't tell the difference between the 2.
It’s a toss up between this and the CBX. Handles way better than most think. Down side is the RC36 are getting really expensive along with everything else. My Yamaha FZ1 has doubled in resale. PS - hitting that rev limiter is the dumbest thing you can do to any motor. Just ask your Honda Mech when it gernades

This has got to be the most beautiful sounding motorcycle on the planet.
At tickover, sounds exactly like my ST1100. And..... I just got myself a VFR750F as well
As the owner of an 86 version and a recently acquired 90’s version.

Top marks for capturing the full range of sound so well on this recording.
I’ve watched this video many times. Still makes me smile everytime. Just music to my ears.
Me too, bro'.
I can't wait riding again mine! ;)
BTW. Your video made me buy my 1st bike - red VFR 750F RC36II. 30000+ km later I'm still in love with it!!!

how can you not love the sound of these bikes.

Hell yes the v4 sound 🙌🏼 like a v8 on drugs
Searched this after listening a Panigale v4r just to confirm what I thought. The Honda sounds 100x better than the Ducati.

Thanks for the great video. My dad used to have one, I miss it a lot. Such a great bike!
Best 4 cylinders sound ever !
Same as a Honda ST1100 ☝️🥰
Excellent sound, thank you! Love my old VFR :)
Sounds even better than an R1, this one also has that whine from the fear driven cams which is a plus
