The other song with Floor from this concert is this one, a full operatic piece with the orchestra: EPICA - Stabat Mater Dolorosa w/Floor Jansen (Retrospect 10th Anniversary DVD I)
If you wanna experience something really special with a whole bunch of singers, instruments, ...? A long masterpiece that is still to short? Ayreon: "The Day the World Breaks Down"
And instruments. Drums can interfere with how string instrument's vibrate/work. Think of how putting your hand on the strings to stop the vibrations. To my understanding it's something like that but with the percussive wave from the drum replacing your hand. They are indeed good friends and yes, Simone was pregnant. This is an epic performance by all. Full orchestra, full choir. BTW - your mic cuts out occasionally especially when you talk softly - doesn't pick everything up. Just sayin'.

Might want to listen to the two of them on ‘Sabat Mater dolorosa” from the same concert, to see a metal crowd silent enough to hear a pin drop listening to the voices.
What I like most in this video is that everyone is enjoying themselves, the band members, the singers, the choir, even the suited older men in the orchestra (9:58 in the background). They are having a blast.
If really want to hear them harmonize, try "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" from the same concert: ruclips.net/video/QqdvFPBGN0c/видео.html Floor sings the contralto role and nails it. I am glad i saw a lot of things this video. I was sort of surprised to even notice the belly but glad I got it right :). And... yes...nothing wrong with showing some proud Dutch roots every once in a while!
Nope, Floor is not tall - she is actually very tiny, being a goddesses of phenomenal proportions 😁. Those 2 metal queens are awesome together, I have experienced them together a couple of times during the years, guesting each others bands. They are phenomenal singers and stage performers, and they go back for a long time as friends. By the way - you need to do: Ayreon - The Day that the world breakes down, from the Album The Source. 11 of the best singers in the world. And While Love Died, Northward - from the album Northward. An old scool hard rock project Floor and Jorn Viggo Lofstad, started in 2008 and then put on hold for a decade, but finished it in 2018, when Nightwish was on a year off and Floor gave birth to her daughter.
It is the same keyboardplayer but here with his full hair he shaved it all after this and yes she was several months pregnant. The show lasted 4 hourd/ imagine
My wife was pregnant twice ;). The shape was very much what I recognized as a early pregnancy telltale. Especially if you are as slim as Simone...it shows. And my eyes wander throughout all of the video the whole time. (and to be fair... I am a guy... it is not always by choice where my eyes go)
Mate, you would love the next song on this setlist, Design Your Universe! Would also recommend Essence of Silence (official live) , and Kingdom of Heaven, a song that will probably melt your face with it's heaviness, for that one, I would recommend the live one too, the lyric video imho is a bit meh. I would also strongly recommend Victims if Contingency mv, it'll prolly give ya a stroke 🤪 and In All Conscious, a real sleeper banger! And yeah she was pregnant, about 3 months iirc, and the keyboardist Coen is the same fella, just pre head shaven 😁
He Viking if you like it so far than you must react to epica design your universe live@ retrospect it's the same show you will ove it. ceep up the good work
I would like you to cheat more(once a week is to hard) Do some Floor from Beste Zangers in between:) You can start with. -Floor solo doing Lady Gaga's Shallow -Floor and Henk Poort doing The Phantom of the opera -Henk Poort doing Sound of silence from Simon and Garfunkle(the Disturbed version) If you do that try get the ones with intro talks and english subs for better understanding of the how and why. You can also do some stuff of her in former bands. A must see is a much heavier and growling Floor in her former band Revamp with the song Disdain Live at Graspop 2010 She also did a cover of Iron Maiden -The Evil That Men Do (she was 23 at the time) You can also pick one of her latest covers she did at her home during this pandemic time. For instand - Alone from Heart or Adagio from Lara Fabian Anyway no need to get bored:)
Oh the intro talks wouldn't be a problem as they are speaking my native tongue. Maybe for the people watching? But these suggestions will be added to my pretty extensive list ;). There is so much to react to that cheating wouldn't really be fair to other bands and suggestions... We'll see. I am trying to listen to the masses ;)
i second the beste zangers reactions - even if you dont need the subtitles, use the vids from jenniezilf's channel because there's context before and after songs that AVROTROS doesnt have included in their videos
For Dutch standards, Floor isn't that tall. I am a pretty average guy at 1m80. Floor is 1m83 without heels. When I met her she didn't tower over me or anything, about my height, only slightly taller. (It was before a show and she wasn't wearing her heels yet). So I would say that her Wikipedia page is correct. I know a lot of ladies in (the north of) The Netherlands that are a lot taller than Floor (1m90+). I have to really look up to those. Simone is from the south, where people are on average a bit shorter, so that's why the difference is noticeable here.
Well...to be fair... I am Dutch myself and I can't say that I know many women that tall. Tall yes...that tall...no :P Sure, there are exceptions but I know only 2 or 3 that may be that tall.
@@VikingReacts I was born in the west, but grew up in Friesland. Quite a few my friends from that area are around 2m tall. Their sisters are a bit shorter, but that still means over 1m90.

@@VikingReacts Sorry man! I actually work at a Japanese company, so I'm well-versed with both measurement systems. Could have told ya 1.85 meters. :P
Wait till you hear them do Stabat Mater Dolorosa...
Someone mentioned that yesterday and made me very curious ;)
Oh! Cheater! :D Dan kijk ik altijd ;) It's always cute to see th height difference Yes, it's an orchestra :D And yes they sound amazing together
By the way - you need to do:
Ayreon - The Day that the world breakes down, from the Album The Source. 11 of the best singers in the world.
And
While Love Died, Northward - from the album Northward. An old scool hard rock project Floor and Jorn Viggo Lofstad, started in 2008 and then put on hold for a decade, but finished it in 2018, when Nightwish was on a year off and Floor gave birth to her daughter.
Cool, i have added these songs to my list. It will be done. And yes... I think we can agree that she is pretty tiny for the goddess she is :P
Floor is i think 6"1 and wears 4 inch heels on stage so tall but then even taller
Goddesses!
Amen!
It is the same keyboardplayer but here with his full hair he shaved it all after this and yes she was several months pregnant. The show lasted 4 hourd/ imagine
Told you bro !!!! FLOOR IS JUST THE BEST 😅😅 nice one from SHENNA and APRIL
NW ARMY COSTA RICA DIVICION whith u in the jurney
Combined... they are so good. I think they are both awesome! But yes...i agree ;)

Xena and Gabby.
dutch treat.
That sums it up pretty nicely :P
Wow, you are the first one who notices Simone's pregnant by himself.
Very impressive, as she's not that far along.
My wife was pregnant twice ;). The shape was very much what I recognized as a early pregnancy telltale. Especially if you are as slim as Simone...it shows. And my eyes wander throughout all of the video the whole time. (and to be fair... I am a guy... it is not always by choice where my eyes go)
Si estaba embarazada mi hermosa Simone!!! ☺️
I'm gonna say one thing that you should go check out
Hulkoff
I have Martial and Einherjer on the list... Any other recommendations?
Thanks for all the suggestions :). I've added them to the list!
@@VikingReacts no problem mate, look forward to em! 😁
Sabaton - Attack of the Dead Men reaction please dude :)) it has a amazing guitar solo awww
Oh I saw another reactor doing that song and I ignored that video! Glad i did now that you suggest it! It is on my list my friend :)
@@VikingReacts SKOL TO MY VIKING
He Viking if you like it so far than you must react to epica design your universe live@ retrospect it's the same show you will ove it. ceep up the good work
It shall be done! One of the more requested songs ;)
yes. she was pregnant. 3rd month
I think it was obvious. But this is not something you want to be wrong about :P
I would like you to cheat more(once a week is to hard)
Do some Floor from Beste Zangers in between:)
You can start with.
-Floor solo doing Lady Gaga's Shallow
-Floor and Henk Poort doing The Phantom of the opera
-Henk Poort doing Sound of silence from Simon and Garfunkle(the Disturbed version)
If you do that try get the ones with intro talks and english subs for better understanding of the how and why.
You can also do some stuff of her in former bands.
A must see is a much heavier and growling Floor in her former band Revamp with the song Disdain Live at Graspop 2010
She also did a cover of Iron Maiden -The Evil That Men Do (she was 23 at the time)
You can also pick one of her latest covers she did at her home during this pandemic time.
For instand - Alone from Heart or Adagio from Lara Fabian
Anyway no need to get bored:)
FLOOR JANSEN IS 6FEET 1 OR 1.83 M PURE METALL
And only now understanding youre dutch😀😀😀😀 ik had echt niet door
Goede grap toch ;)
she is 6 foot 4inch with boots!!!
Errrr, we use metric. I think that is around 1.9 something meters. Tall indeed...
Zo vet he!
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
uhm...amen? :P
Dit klonk wel erg Nederlands, I do like your style!
If this is not the sound that greets a warrior entering Valhalla then everything is a lie.
And Sabaton's Swedish Pagans on the way there. I could live with that experience...or die?
drums are way to loud. so mostly for the ochestra... but it goes both ways :0
Well... you do not want the drum sound bleeding into the acoustic drums of the orchestra, nor their microphones. :)
See, that is what I imagined it was for :)
Tall yes...that tall...no :P
Sure, there are exceptions but I know only 2 or 3 that may be that tall.
@@VikingReacts I was born in the west, but grew up in Friesland. Quite a few my friends from that area are around 2m tall. Their sisters are a bit shorter, but that still means over 1m90.
Goede reactie man 😃😃
Dank je :). Het komt vanzelf :P
more Sabaton please
Aye sir!
Both wearing heels…..
yes she's pregnant
Cheat some more with floor in beste zangers :p
I will ;). But don't tell anyone!
Ik heb ook in een kerkkoor gezongen. Ben nooit gelovig geweest ofzo. Hield gewoon van zingen.
Same here :P.
I think she’s imposing regardless.
That may well be true...
