- Riding the Onyx RCR and Enduro Ebike to Review a Airel Rider X Class 52v
Ebike. This is a great bike, not just a great bike for the price it is just a great bike my only complaint is the rear shock is too Stiff. These bike could easily sell for 3k in my opinion. A Suoer 73 with full suspension runs 3500. so you can buy an Airel Rider X Class 52v and have 1300 to put into it.

Great video, my 52v X-class (black) arrives tomorrow. I have a long seat ready to put on it. I won the seat in a Rusty Roads contest!!
😝⚡🐾🤘🏽
Ariel Rider is killing it in value for the performance. I have a few friends with them, and the only reason I didn't go that way is because I needed something that looks more like a bike than a motor cycle. I prefer half twist throttles as well, but the thumb throttle is easy to change out.
Fun Toy, I've had my 48 for two months. Its a beast. I topped out at 34.mph. I ride tandem with my daughter all the time and it still pushes hard just a little slower. Can't wait to get my grizzly. Should already be here but you know how that goes. And yes 48s are supposed to be thumb throttle while the 52's are half twist but I've seen people receive them the complete opposite.
I guess it is whatever they have in stock at the time LOL either way this bike is truly a great value.
cant wait to get mine and I will put a surfboard rack behind the seat. need it for when I want to cruise to different surf spots without leaving the parking lot.
We are really enjoying the Ariel Rider D-Class and 52v X-Class. Both bikes are super fun. I am passing mopeds going uphill lol.
I was looking big time into this bike but settled on the Onyx Rcr, great video though.
Sounded by your laughter - FUN -
"Not Bad Price Either, For What You Get"
I order the D - Class e bike about four months ago can't wait until it arrives I emailed Ariel Rider they said I should receive by this month. 🤞
I’m trying to decide on which ariel rider.. that d-class sure looks the best
@@Eric-hz7ei At this time if you try to order any popular Ariel Rider bikes at this moment most likely it will arrive by December.
@@PillCosby407 oh man Thanx for the heads up. .i better hurry up and decide. Of course, I love in Minnesota, so i’m pretty much looking at not riding til spring then. 😢 Leaning toward 52v xclass. It’s a hard decision. Thats a lot of money! ( for me anyway) :-) What made you decide on the d class?
Great review!! Glad you're enjoying it. It's definitely no Onyx but for nearly ⅓ of the price it is a blast !!
🐾⚡🤘🏽
On the newer version they no longer come with metal gears they are now nylon.
Yes, I wish these modern ebikes were actually quiet so we can enjoy nature, or have an option for electric motor noise or not.
Great vid!!! Love what Ariel Rider is doing!!!
I absolutely agree, it really is a quality bike and they kept the cost down
somehow.
bought my X-Class 52v two weeks ago on sale for 1900
Great presentation. Wear a full face helmet when riding a Class 3 ebike.
I thought about getting one of those but just wasn’t going to be fast enough for me. Ride safe and wear your riding gear and alway wear your gloves. If you ever go down your gonna wish you had them on.
What is that bag or battery on the top
Maybe one day I'll get to use it
Great video can you give the link for the tank bag on the 52v? Thanks

@@samjohnson517 Thanks Sam.
Are you saying it uses metal gears not nylon? I see the flywheel is metal but did you open the motor to verify the metal gears? Metal gears are awesome!!
The newer version they are selling now no longer come with metal gears they are now nylon gears
@@Sal-vx5dg Thanks for the update. This is not good. There's more power and torque which will make the nylon gears wear out faster.
@@bass3587 Nylon gears are more of a failsafe. If the gears fail for whatever reason. The damage to your bike motor or axle will probably sustains limited damage. The cost effectiveness of replacing nylon gears has the advantage over replacing a motor.
I now want one! Take my money!
Go for it, mine came 2 weeks ago and it’s 🔥
Mine is coming in today, I hope it has a twist instead of thumb
You made a good choice I feel like that's a $3,000 bike I wouldn't worry too much about the throttle if it is a thumb it can be easily changed
By the way let me know if your rear shock is stiff I think I'm going to try a 190 mm dnm shock on my brother-in-laws
Can someone explain why the metal gears in the hub are better? I mean, it probably costs about thirty more cents to make them out of metal vs nylon. There must be some reason other hub motors stick with nylon. Do they wear better?
Hello, well the obvious is that metal is stronger than plastic, plastic gears tend to strip out of your hard on them but they seem to do okay under normal use and on lighter ebikes.
I'm no expert, but from what I've heard the metal gears resist wear better, and have more torque. The downside is that they're a lot noisier though, which might get you unwanted attention (or restricted from going on certain trails.)
Nylon gears can eventually wear down, also the controllers can push more to the motor, for longer periods when they have metal gears
@@RustyRoads Thanks...so why even make nylon gears at all? It must only cost like an extra 30 cents to make them out of metal with modern manufacturing. There must be some upside?
@@fifififo5918 the noise is lower withnylon
Do you even need a shifter in an ebike?
It depends on the type of ebike and it's really just personal preference, if you want to pedal along with pedal assistance, other than that no
Looks like ur front light may be sagging!?
Yeah you're right I did not notice that, but this was just after assembly.
Are these rims 80 or 100mm?
You know I'm not sure that was my brother-in-law's bike I will measure it next time I'm over there but keep in mind that the tires are 4 in which is 100 mm and the rim is pretty much flush with the tire if I had to guess I would say I'd be 100 mm maybe 90 at the minimum
@@samjohnson517 sounds like the 100mm,thanks bud👊🏽😎
Subbed!😎⚡️
I hear u should put speed limit on 38 is optimal
What bike are you riding at the end of this video? That thing whips
Hello, that is my 12000w Enduro
I needddd thisss
I wish you would have went a little bit further on your speed run it might have went a little faster
When I checked it again it went to 34mph I'm sure if you went longer and maybe tucked down under the bars you could probably get a little more out of it.
But 34 is still good for that bike.
I need to get one ☝️ lol always the preorder though my patients wear thin lol
Yeah they do take a while to get but I think it's worth it, the price is definitely right.
@@samjohnson517 for sure decent pricing
They look cool, but I feel like it's not fast enough for me. Not for that price. My skateboard is faster than that. Lol
I get that, but you know I tend to forget that for a lot of people speed is really not that important, so when you think about it $2,200 it's a pretty good value when you compare it to like a super 73 RX at $3500.
@@samjohnson517 i didn't know they cost that much. Ouch. I've been looking hard at the Lectric xp. I feel like that one has the best value. I noticed one in the background of this video. For around $1000 it looks pretty cool
Yeah the lectric XP, that is a great deal also and the new one has front suspension.. it rides well even without suspension the big tires seem to soak up the bumps it's not very fast but it's still fun.
@@samjohnson517 I love the fact that it's foldable. Makes it more compact . I saw a video where somebody put them in tote bins and they actually put 2 Lectric XPs inside a small car. That's awesome.
Too pleasant too tall
