I cant believe it is a track from 2002. It just sounds so modern
Listen to some modern metal like ERRA or Spiritbox.
They sound modern, this track is great but really sounds like early 2000's

Linkin Park's music is a painkiller. You can hear it an feel better for a while but it also holds you prison in the mental condition. All the emtiness and pain will come again sooner or later. You can't break out and if you see whats happened to Chester you see i am telling you the truth. If you want freedom and an inner peace to living truh a chaotic life there is only one who can fix your soul and thats your creator Jesus Christ.

Yeah but I feel like they ruined the chorus in More the Victim by completely removing Joe’s samples during it. Joe’s parts really added a unique feel

@@jakem3865 Ya after listening to them both they are very different. Two different songs, maybe they just wanted to keep the integrity of this original. The lyrical one is more of a throwback LP vibe, but I agree I like how unique this one was
@@chea7z913 Yeah, I strongly preferred how it sounded before. The weird thing is, Mike showed a version with lyrics on Howard Stern a few weeks back, and it sounded identical to Cumulus, just with the vocals. I was hoping the final release would just be a clearer version of it. Not the end of the world of course, but would've been nice to also get that version too.
The main guitar riff gives off such a nostalgia inducing vibe. Something out of a retro adventure video game

There is a version of it called "more the victim" that is slitly different and has vocals on it
My brothers and I wore out not one, not two, but three CD copies of Hybrid Theory. Then, Meteora dropped my senior year of high school. Twenty years later, and one of my brothers no longer alive, taking in unreleased demos from LP brings incredible comfort. One of the greatest rock bands to ever do it.

This instrumental gives me Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII vibes. Had this on repeat on Spotify while completing missions because it felt like it should have been in the game to fit with the other tunes. So addictive 🥰🥰🥰
Wow I relate to this heavy. A lot of the OST from crisis core really felt similar to linkin park back when I was a kid playing the game on PSP.

I get teary eyed when I listen to this. Something deep inside me is triggering a nostalgia effect. This piece alone sounds like Victory after all the pain experienced.

I think the instrumentals here are better than in More The Victim. The softer drums help set it more apart. If we could transpose the vocals from More The Victim on to this version in high quality, that'd be great. I know some people on youtube have done it, but with low quality audio or incomplete/cutting vocals.
