Just had this exact same issue. Replacing M92T36 was it. Thank you.
The switch I have had a port replacement with no charge after the replacement (or before). I changed the M92 and now it charges but only on one side lol
@@chipcamels same with mine. Does your's work on the dock?
@@kevv9563 I don't remember which switch this was but if I'm not mistaken I just reflowed the port I put on or I just did a new one all together and that seemed to work.

Dang video title says not docking and only charging one side but didn't see the dock mode tested. Have a switch replaced usb c everything works but don't dock. Not to many vids on that issue that I can find anyways. But great work and hello from the states!
Hey bud, sorry this particular video didn't help. I do have quite a few videos for docking related issues but it's basically going to come down to one of a few things
● The USB-C port
● P13USB Video IC
● Filters below P13USB
● M92T36 Power IC
● 7C Diode Arrays
Any of those could cause the switch to not dock. Hopefully you figure yours out and this points you in the right direction :)

I have same issue ,switch not charging on one side but also a wired controller dock is not recognised ,Could it be the same problem?I cannot flip the wired game pad as it is one of those docking ones.
My switch needs fixing it only charges at one angle

Before doing the repair, was the dock mode working?
I don't think I tested it to be honest but I'd assume not if it only charged one side of the port
