Because he is such a Shakespearean lyricist, Bob's musical talents are most often overshadowed by his legendary lyrics. But songs like this one illustrate the depth and breadth of his musical talents. Truly an incredible talent..noble and Nobel worthy.

Woooww. Onvergetelijke tijden.

Absolutely. If you haven't seen on Amazon where a gospel group in Chicago I believe , took his song s And sang them. Bob there's nothing like Bob singing his songs. When these gospel singer sang these songs it was a thousand percent gospel soul and spirit. You ought to check it out. You not only hear the songs. You hear the story of these people who sang Bob's songs. Their life stories or a segment of their life where this particular gospel song or that particular gospel song spoke to them.

I'm much more about the music it self than about the words. Words are just to fil theme. Not important. In every song. That's why classical music is so magical. Not spoiled with words and than people doesn't need to argue. Music is magic words are spoiler.

Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
He saw an animal leaving a muddy trail
Real dirty face and a curly tail
He wasn't too small and he wasn't too big
Ah, think I'll call him a pig
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
Next animal that he did meet

Oh, think I'll call it a sheep
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
He saw an animal as smooth as glass
Slithering his way through the grass
He saw him dissappear by a tree near a lake

✨WOW!✨ Thank you SO MUCH for this 🎶beautiful treasure🎶🤩
It’s as the first time I ever heard this song in my life, and I’ll soon be 61 years of age! HaHa of course I’ve heard every song of his, I’m sure, but was blessed with a stroke in 2012. Perception is either the honey or the poison of life, so I choose honey.🎶 Music, movies, TV favorites, etc, are many benefits to a memory which keeps rebooting LoL! God has been merciful in that I’ve never forgotten my closest relatives, although many friends have had to remind me. So please don’t be offended if we meet again & I don’t recognize you, and you are someone who has been in my life. Remind me, then I will remember. Doesn’t take much with people really, although I can’t look into the eyes of a song, so many are new to me again!😃✨🎶✨ People remain in my heart. ALWAYS a pleasure to have a void refilled!♥️

Man gave names to all the animals In the beginning, long time ago.
He saw an animal that liked to growl,
Big furry paws and he liked to howl,
Great big furry back and furry hair.
"Ah, think I'll call it a bear."
He saw an animal up on a hill.
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled.
He saw milk comin' out but he didn't know how.
"Ah, think I'll call it a cow."
He saw an animal that liked to snort,
Horns on his head and they weren't too short.
It looked like there wasn't nothin' that he couldn't pull.
"Ah, think I'll call it a bull."
He saw an animal leavin' a muddy trail,
Real dirty face and a curly tail.
He wasn't too small and he wasn't too big.
"Ah, think I'll call it a pig."
Next animal that he did meet
Had wool on his back and hooves on his feet,
Eating grass on a mountainside so steep.
"Ah, think I'll call it a sheep."
He saw an animal as smooth as glass
Slithering his way through the grass.
    Saw him disappear by a tree near a lake . . .
    Ah...
    아...

Man Gave Names To All The Animals
    Bob Dylan
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
He saw an animal that liked to growl
Big furry paws and he liked to howl
Great big furry back and furry hair
Ah, think I'll call it a bear
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
He saw an animal up on a hill
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled
He saw milk comin' out, but he didn't know how
Ah, think I'll call it a cow
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
He saw an animal that liked to snort
Horns on his head and they weren't too short
It looked like there wasn't nothin' that he couldn't pull
Ah, think I'll call it a bull
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, in the beginning
Man gave names to all the animals
In the beginning, long time ago
