I used to own a Daihatsu S38 a 360cc 2 cylinder 2 stroke van (and have woken up many times after a hard night on the tiles in it) the only vehicle that I ever would own again. I loved it.
I am a former owner of this van 2016,I toured Britain and Scotland in 4 month trip.previous owner before me lived in Glasgow.from the log book it was garaged for years so had low mileage ,it first came from Devon new.Oh and I bought it from a dealer in Lancaster U.K.( say hello to betsy)
These Kei Cars were great little campers, with a clever use of space! My only concern is that the driver and passenger effectively become the 'Crumple Zone' in the event if a frontal impact, with a paper thin sheet of metal between them and whatever impacts outside...
We are also Speechless 🙊 because its excellent and built on one of the strongest machines: Daihatsu. However my suggestion is to make round corners on Table Tops do that it will not hurt you.
You have a rubber hose and a rusty hose clamp on your propane tank. Even if it's off. Leak from bottle.. and engine running. Bro.. buy a fitting. Love your van. Been looking for one. Always so faraway . And in Austria cars cost more then they are worth. After Corona I will get one from Germany. Sweet van.
ini salah satu konsep pop up tent kesukaan saya yang akan membuat tempat tidur cukup di atas atap dan bagian bawah cukup kursi dan peralatan secukupnya, apalagi kalau di tambah solar panel di roof nya
I had a hijet which was basic ban but I built a bed frame and had sink and basic cooking this is so much better.the only problem with micro vans is stability in high winds.
Indeed..!!! Its a little bit twitchy..! So much so that I think this one is going to go and he's going to build something more stable. (Dad is 83 and needs something easier/relaxing to drive)
It's so Tiny! They don't sell anything near that small here in North America. I kind of wish they did. That looks like it would actually fit in the box of my truck.
That is pukka mate love it 1man van with every thing you need superb mate ideal for when you have had enough of the wife lol little telly and away you go cracking little van😆😀🚙👍👌✌👏
I have a cushman mini micro van and I like it. I drove it from Philadelphia, Pa. to Phoenix, Az. with no problems. In Oklahoma I was stopped by Sheriff two times at night asking what is this and where did you get it and I said USAF. they used them on the runway (Inspecting General) checking out the aircraft.
alles cool Aber was machen Sie, wenn Sie die Batterie wechseln müssen? oder Ölstand prüfen oder neues Öl einfüllen Dazu müssen die Sitze umgekippt werden
everything cool But what do you do when you need to change the battery? or check oil level or fill in new oil To do this, the seats have to be tipped over
It looks like the roof going up doesn't give you any extra functionality? Is its only purpose to give you more ventilation and/or head room if you're taller?

Nice! But I always wondered why you want a two burner stove...! I'd rather have a portable stove with one burner. Or even better, an alcohol portable stove. you would then be safer (no leaking gas), and save some storage space (1 bottle is enough for some weeks). You did not show if one person can sleep in there.. Is it 1.8m deep?
Hi the stove was one that was reclaimed from the original camper build.. We considered changing it but after a good service it was good as new so it was cheaper to use the original. (Also with two burners he can cook his breakfast and boil a kettle for a brew at the same time.. Us Brits need a cup of tea with our breakfasts :) )
Uk Regs don't stipulate that you have to have 2 burners to qualify as a camper. The actual wording on the gov website is ' a permanently fixed cooking facility within the vehicle, powered by gas or electricity'. paul timmons
whoever did this was a genius such a small space and a so usefull working area wish i had one of my own..

Fabulous little camper, always wanted one, I love the colour too. Thanks for sharing with us all. They are very rare now in good condition. 👍🇬🇧

And now I'm no longer worried that I may not have enough space if I convert a Nissan ENV200 into a camper! Great work man.
Very impressive, brilliant job, well done, enjoy your adventures!

Lovely van! What's the music please?
У нас был Дайхатсу Хайджет в 90е . Жалею что продали 🙂 после 7 лет нелегкой эксплуатации 🙂
Great space utilization, fit a solar panel of required wattage on the roof
great i would like to do this total how much you spend for these modification excluding vehicle cost. thanks in advance. :)
In India it will cost around Rs.100000/- for modification.

You're right.... It just means you can stand up while cooking or getting dressed. It does help a lot with ventilation.
Please tell me how you got the pop top? Did it come with? Where can I order a pop top if you know?
Is that pop top really useful in heavy rains? Is that material is waterproof?
Awesome! Any idea of its price guys?
I'd love to own something like this. But, I've got a big puppers. And a partner who doesn't like small spaces...
Always loved these 😁 Health to drive

I love so much.
Camping in cars in Korea is called chakbak.
How tall are you? Cant imagine anyone over 5 ft tall standing, or even sitting, fully upright in a van this tiny.
Haha you're right. I'm 5'7", I can stand with the roof up.. Sitting is OK though.. Its not a "MicroBus" for nothing. :)
So cool thanks for show
Beautiful
Soo cool! 👌🙏👍😉
Would have appreciated some words on what is what and where it goes and where it comes from and why. If not spoken then maybe written.
Compact and bijou, Mostin.
Bellissimo.
Please advise me how to made a roof like that ????
Brilliant work
I dont see how youre gonna sleep at night in the van?
