OMG... I want that tiny off roader! SO cool! Can't wait to see what y'all do with it. Enjoy, travel safely, stay safe & well.
Too cute! Can’t wait to see the end results!😍❤️
Yay! Not only is the steering on the right side, it’s on the correct side.
I have an almost exact van (suzuki) and though it's not very fast (or powerful) because of its 660cc engine, it can carry a lot of people or some cargo. It's also very easy to find parking space for it.
Oh my gosh super cute!!! can't wait for the video updates.
Wuhuuuuu..cant wait for the outcome. This is so much fun.
DUDE I LOVE THIS, i cant wait to see the end result!!!!
Thanks!! We’re so excited! We loom forward to sharing more with you! :)
Awesome fellas... Go for it..
I have to have one now. Lol 😆 looking forward to your build and ideas.
Thank you!! We can’t wait to share! We’re so excited! :)
Can't wait to see the final product
This is "pocket camper" :), like Subaru Libero
LOVE IT!! ❤️😎
Ok from the thumb nail it I was thinking there's NO WAY but now I'm excited to see the progress! That's an awesome little van!
Do a big battery box that is waterproof and then solar on top of the battery box thus save your space inside the camper for your living space.
I love this! This is so inspiring! Go Tiny Watts! :))
Thanks girl!! Xx
That is so awesome happy birthday!
You guys need to put that in a Tiny Little container and bring it for a tour in Australia. The steering wheel is already on the right side!
Have to sub for this!! Stoked y’all, best wishes from a fellow Oregonian 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Cool project!
Nice vidéo I like that mini cool for going offroad camping👍🌟💖
i would say something but this was 3 years ago. so i well say love the van. Great all American/Canadian road trip van. does not need allot of fancy, just basic and a sleeping area. the only thing i would do to it is try to put in an automatic transmission.
Wow this is going to be great. Best of luck. Awesome.
I can't wait to see the finished result of this tiny van. The Sprinter Van can probably tow this like a golf cart :D
Freddy FourFingerz We took the grandkids all over on camping ⛺️ holidays in this . 6 of us altogether they will enjoy it .
No need to tow it when u can just fit it in the back of a sprinter.
Aaaaah i love this little camper! Then set up the mini camper nicely and take good care of it! They have become rare! With us in Germany they are almost gone :( .. because I couldn't find one I built the Suzki Jimny FJ mini camper ... and later I bought a large camper. So now I have two campers! A mini expedition vehicle for off road and motorhome for normal tour ...
But your camper is just cute and I find it very practical for WE tour! have fun
Greetings from Germany
This is awesome camper van, two slide doors that’s good I like it. I might get one my self actually. How old is the van it self my friend? Thank you kindly and very much appreciated for sharing
Hopefully, this is the near future!!!🥰 Rollercoaster bar!🤣
Awesome you guys! Heheh.. so cool. :)
cool. what matters is not what you have but how you enjoy what you already have.
these are pretty much standard freighters in Taiwan, you see them in the south end quite a bit, also gives you a good idea how narrow our roads are.
This is freaking adorable! You could dangle this from davits behind your cat and just plop it on land anywhere and have the best of both worlds!
I Just subscribed to see the result. I Hope you will be inspirer for lots of people who suffer in hesitation.
the small vans are completely adorable. America should really get with the program and build these.
They would sell massively.
nice mini camper👍
Perfect for Greece, greetings!!
We have a 1991 Honda Acty van and we love it!!
That locked like fun , pop up roof with solar ? Cool .
Oh I am sooo jealous!
I'm trying to buy one now. Hopefully it goes through. But definitely followed and liked so I can learn from yal.
Fun!!!
This is how gabby petito and Brian laundry started lol. Naw I’m kidding cool van looks like the Honda Acty
Messed up lol
Wow this rims! 😍
a very brilliant idea
Those are quite common here in the EU , many small craft and tradesmen strip the back anduse them for work. I have even seen one with a converted high top used as a ice cream van:)
I can’t wait to see it. And a total cost for the project would be awesome. How fast does it go?
Adorable. 😊
This will be fun to watch convert.
Nice Car...Suzuki Carry, a lot memories with this car..
Ahh the old "keep fit windows" 😃
You can make some modular cube to have more space in one side door I m doing the same and plan to use one of the side door to make a shower and the access to other pop top roof to have one more bed plan to make for 4 persons 🔝
There are Suzuki vans being sold in some Asian countries that seems exactly like that..i even thought it was that van..your idea of customizing it for camping seems really awesome..
Yeah.. In India they had collaboration with Maruti and was called Maruti Suzuki OMNI. It was the official kidnapping vehicle in Indian movies and also the first car I have ever driven, not that I was into kidnapping..lol
What speed does this top out at for cruising? I’ve heard others say it shakes a lot when vehicles pass on the highway. Did you find this to be a big concern/scary when you drove it to Shasta? That’s one of my main reservations on getting a kei van.
Lovely youre minivan❤️
Have a truck and camper.Love the opening side windows,in yours.
Love it, I would love a tiny camper so I can take myself off, I’m in the U.K
Wow nice
I saw a very similar Subaru Sambar with 43-48 mpg listed in the specs. Is this the kind off mpg you’re getting with your kei van?! Sounds like the best of both worlds between a van & a prius!
That's rad
As we called it in the Philippines...multicab!...they even have a pick up and jeepney type version of it
Like it , from the UK 🇬🇧
Me encanto tu mini furgon
Oh, these are great. Such fun, can’t wait to see how this ends up.
Andreas Duess we had these for years a 7 seater , a caravette and vans , they are economical and great fun . Two things to take note , in Winds and corners they can be unsteady . If the engine management light comes on it could well need the Head skimming . You can only skim it 3 times . Keep the headliner .
Small but spacious..nice jdm
OMG!! This is so cute!! Where'd you get it??
In the Philippines we have something similar. We called it Multicab and it goes with different variations.
Gonna be cool. If you're gonna do at tires don't forget to do sound deadening.
These Japanese Import Vans are invariably sourced in very good mechanical condition and will give years, miles and smiles of travel camping adventures!
That's a great space to work with as a blank sheet fit out, and when you're dealing with compact dimensions you really have the opportunity to become inventive about how you do things and with what you use, as weight is a very important factor in these Kei Cars!
Driving them is great fun, its like being on a forward control roller skate!
Those two sliding doors and in particular the winding windows will make your life so much easier when you're camping.
I'm subscribing to follow your adventures. If you look up those vehicles in Japan you'll see a whole world of camping /living/off road stuff made to fit in them because they're hugely popular over there!
Its worth remembering that the people up front are, in effect, the crumple zone in any frontal impact, as they get to the accident site first and only have a paper thin panel between them and whatever is out front!
On the plus side, whatever you buy to fit in your Kei camper, you won't need to buy much of it!
HolycrapYES!!!
I never knew these existed. I think I want one of these. I bet you cant buy them in Australia.
Hi there. Cheers from Costa Rica. Nice ride. Any update on the setup?
Wonder how hard it would be to change the steering wheel to the left side. A lot of vehicles designed for international sales are made with symmetrical dashes and firewalls with predrilled holes. As the vehicle comes down the assembly line, the computer reads whether the unit is ordered in left or right driver position. No big deal.
Best of luck
Omg so cute but ill stick with my bigger van. Lol
nice van bro
I had a 4wd mini truck road registered too
I wasn't sure about this until you mentioned the radiant heat
Hello ! How much it cost you to buy it ? And where areyou bought it ? pls.
Nice
What state are you in? Would be nice to get one but afraid California wouldn’t allow it. Smog would be the first obstacle. Jc
Tried to visit the importer's website from your link in the description. It came up 'website expired'.
need an update video!! :)
❤️❤️❤️
Did you consider front end collisions? Looks sort of dangerous. Lack of second row seat belts? Hmmm!
I wonder if it's hard find parts for it?
I suggest you remove the headliner and trim panels so you can insulate effectively. Avoid dimensional lumber; it’s too heavy and needlessly massive. Instead, use marine materials and scantlings. Excessive weight will slow you down. Combine that with altitude, and you might need to get out to push uphill. It’s bad enough at sea level.
You’d probably be happier with a chinese diesel furnace. They’re cheaper than dirt, safe, and very effective.
Hard to beat a jetboil for efficiency, portability, and size. Try a SuMo.
I understand the desire to use ‘lectrics exclusively, but your energy potential probably couldn’t meet even modest needs.
Make the best use of your “floorplan” by stacking the accommodations. I’d consider an athwartships countertop galley above your feet. That way you could use it inside or out with the rear door open.
I’ve always loved those little vans, and I think building a micro/minimal camper would be a lot of fun. I’ll soon be building out my comparitively massive Delica L300.
Check out Foresty Forest, especially respective the diesel furnace.
I look forward to seeing what you do with this.
Me : searching for the best suzuki tiny campervan built

Bewdiful color,
Prototype Chevrolet Damas 🤣
Finally something i can afford
how much did you buy the van?
Stick shift...changing with the left hand.
So, the correct way.
Did you guys buy this off the Japanese motorhome FB page?
What model at wheels are that pls?
WOW! it looks like not an easy challenge, I saw those tiny vans in Europe, and nobody takes them seriously, so you should consider come around here and surprise nonbelievers..JAJA!
Not for sure what the different brands of these micro vans are, but you always better have 2 because you are going to need a parts vehicle to keep 1 running.
I picked up a spare diahatsu parts car for my one and only car and all I have taken off it in three years and 30000 miles is a head light bulb 8) apart from tyres and fluids and filters and spark plugs all it's needed was cv joint rubber boots and some welding on the middle exaust box which I done myself with an arc welder . It really has cost nothing at all to run I service it regularly myself .
