I feel like I needed to hear to this. "Did not Qualify in CS (P) 2023" under my UPSC marksheet felt similar to physical pain, despite other ongoing failures in life be it academic or personal. The takeaway from this video for myself is Rejection should be accepted as an instruction of Redirection. My interpretation of this statement draws a parallel with movement of an ant in a straight line. When bloacked, it quickly finds the open way and moves again. Blacked again, Moves again. and so on. I leave this comment for myself. A gentle reminder, everytime i revisit this video whenever needed.

The easiest way to look at rejection just by adding 1 million to any situations u are facing right now. For example: if u got divorced or having cancer like decease, million of people have the same. Nothing new happening to u. Let say u didnt get food to eat for 2 days, there are million of people who didnt get food for 2 days and still surviving and finding ways to live. There can't be any mechanism to deal with it. We just have to keep patience and have to endure it and it will be painful. We don't have any other option.

Rejection is a redirection,a chance to make new choices and discover your true self.If a person knows his worth he will only take what he feels is right about him and doesn't affected by opinion of others. One should be thankful for rejection because it also acts as a protection and something helps redirecting life in much better direction leading to a fulfilled and contented life. I faced rejection in my professional and personal life,.... it's difficult... But what I have learnt so far is, I have to accept it, learn from it,then move on... rejection may momentarily halt My life, But it will never be successful to halt it permanently. Life is absurd and rejection is just a part of it.
WRT to rejection in relationships, I take it as a good thing that it happened at an earlier stage. I strongly believe that I would never be happy if the other person is not happy in the relationship. That has given me more time to look for compatible partners. WRT exams, I see it as a feedback that I did lack in some areas and I start addressing those. Failing in exams has actually made me a better student. I some competitive exams after failing I did realise that it was not the right field for me and I was fortunate to pivot in time. WRT jobs, it is our prospective teammates and hiring managers who interview us. So a rejection is a signal that it is not the right fit for me. Job interview is anyways a two way street. Even we are trying to judge whether the role is right for us.

I faced rejection in my professional and personal life,.... it's difficult... But what I have learnt so far is, I have to accept it, learn from it,then move on... rejection may momentarily halt My life, But it will never be successful to halt it permanently. Life is absurd and rejection is just a part of it.
WRT to rejection in relationships, I take it as a good thing that it happened at an earlier stage. I strongly believe that I would never be happy if the other person is not happy in the relationship. That has given me more time to look for compatible partners.
WRT exams, I see it as a feedback that I did lack in some areas and I start addressing those. Failing in exams has actually made me a better student. I some competitive exams after failing I did realise that it was not the right field for me and I was fortunate to pivot in time.
WRT jobs, it is our prospective teammates and hiring managers who interview us. So a rejection is a signal that it is not the right fit for me. Job interview is anyways a two way street. Even we are trying to judge whether the role is right for us.
