Bro you literally just said what someone else said. The only lie in this video is that the burger meat being from multiple different cows causes contamination when it’s something else entirely.
You can’t say it’s the “incorrect way”. You can eat it however you want,it’s just cleaner to flip it because the *bottom* bun soaks up the juices first so it’s likely to fall apart before.
If the burger is overly filled and you eat it sloppy it will fall a part no matter what. I never flip the thicker bun on bottom and never have a problem with juices running everywhere or it falling apart. And Ive always heard the bun the meat sits on should be on bottom because it hits your tongue first. I dont think either of these or right. I eat it with the thicker bun on top because it just feels wrong the other way.
I, along with many other individuals, draw issue with the concepts mentioned in this video. If I may, I would like to vent. 1. If the "only right way" is with the thick bun on the bottom, why isn't it plated as such? This doesn't account at all for many of the standard stacking techniques used by restaurants and people alike, which plays a major factor in the taste and experience of a burger. This axiom also does not account for the possibility of two buns of equal length. 2. I personally agree with this, seeing as I personally love pickels. Instead, my issue is that you didn't account for anything but a pickle. My local "specialty toppings" have coleslaw, which can easily replace the pickle for a crunchy texture while adding more than salt and green, which can be easily replaced with regular cucumbers if the issue is one of needing a neutral crunch. 3. Frankly, bacteria can kiss my ass. I like my burger cooked with just enough time to form a crust and could be convinced to go more raw. Raw ground beef is literally already a dish called steak tartare and it is quite a delicacy among contemporary western restaurants. I do not care if I, and by extension everyone else, were to get mad cow disease, AIDS, or food poisoning from a burger. If a burger were to kill someone, it would be a worthy death. 4. Semantics can do what has already been suggested to bacteria. Anything can and is a hamburger if it is treated as such, much is the case with the burrito or pizza. Consider the veggie burger. It is made with a patty and treated as a burger, despite not being beef at all. Likewise, the steak burger uses no patty but instead a steak as the name implies. There exist more variants around the world that I feel should be called a burger due to how it is topped and plated. Thank you for reading this. I hope I didn't take up too much time with it.

A burger is a sandwich. But a sandwich isn't always a burger. However, as per online dictionaries; "a dish consisting of a round patty of ground beef, or sometimes another savory ingredient, that is fried or grilled and typically served in a split bun or roll with various condiments and toppings." So maybe, as long as the meat is grounded and in the shape of a patty, even if it ain't beef, it's a burger?
All burgers are sandwiches and all sandwiches are burgers, which of course also makes them all brownies as well as a lobster. I’m sick and tired of this debate, we all know the truth.
Most known burger restaurants have their stack order right to optimize the juices coming from the ingredients to lessen the pieces from falling apart. You don't have to look like an idiot eating burger upside down.
the reason burgers are more dangerous than steak is because the surface of the steak is where most of the bacteria is, so when you sear a steak most of the bacteria is gone because it is on the surface, and the middle is the safe part. but when you grind beef for a burger the surface where all the bacteria is gets mixed up with all safer interior meat, therefore the bacteria won’t be killed off mostly when cooked

To me a burger is a sandwich like dish composed of at least one ingredient but usually more with meat being the most common main ingredient I refuse to call a chicken burger a chicken sandwich a sandwich uses regular bread
The simpler way to say it is: bacterial infection exists on the surface of beef. So solid cuts are solid pieces. But once you grind, you take the surface area and spread it through the whole volume... It takes 5 minutes for a surface to be sterilized at 600 degrees. The heat of a pan. Ok I’m kind of burger-problematic First of all I’m vegetarian so I always have a mushroom/bean based burger. Also I do the upside down burger thing because it kind of just makes sense in my head? Idk...
I think the reason the risk of contamination is high is not because of the multiple cows but because beef's bacteria is on the surface, not throughout the flesh. On a steak, it's seared off, but in a burger, it's essentially mashed together, so some surface meat could end up in the middle.
Nr.3 its not the fact that it can come from different cows but that ground beef has way more surface area for bacteria to grab on to. And it goes through more procedures than a steak. If beef from 3 different cows are grinded at the same time there is no bigger chance for it to get contaminated at that point. But yeah I generally only eat well done ground beef. There are too many restaurants that don't have any idea how easily ground beef get's contaminated.
The pickle is there for acidity. Acidity contrast the fatty, savory meat, cheese and sauce and cuts through them. So it's not necessarily the taste of the cucumber. Pickled onions for example would work aswell. Acidity adds complexity to the flavor profile
The reason why ground meat is more dangerous to eat rare, is because the surfaces on the outside of the meat is mixed with the inside of the meat…. Which means all the bacteria that would normally get killed on a grill (like a steak) is now also on the inside
1. A burger wont fall apart if it is made right and you eat it carefully. If these two things arent happening then it will still fall apart. Also the bun that the meat is on should be on bottom. 2. You can use other things beside pickles for crunch if you dont like pickles. 3. The doneness of the meat is ALWAYS personal preference. 4. You need yo read the definition of burger again because it does not say is MUST have a patty made of ground beef and actually says you can have another kinds of meat as the patty.
Doesn’t matter that it comes from multiple cows, it’s because germs get penetrated through the entire thing during grinding but a steak only has surface bacteria, so raw meat inside is easier to be contaminated burgers
The correct way to eat burgers is by putting your pinkies and maybe your ring fingers under the bottom bun so its contents dont spill out the back, the flipping thing is on a case by case basis since some places do cut the bottom bun thicker, local burger addict at your service.
Pickles trigger my sensory issues, so I ask for plain cheeseburgers every time. They might be part of the experience for some, but they ruin the experience for me. Other foods that are the same are cooked onions, mushrooms, and peppers.

Him: you should eat ur burger backward to observe the juice and won’t fall apart
Also Him: Eats it normally
Love how he tells us the "correct way" and then never does it again
he wants you to comment so his video gets recommended to more people.. it is working I guess haha
You’ve managed to make me cry, scream, and punch my fridge all in a short.
Congratulations

Me that eats the burger from bottom to top: who doesn’t know that? That’s so obvious.
Him: saying the wright way to eat a burger
Me: seeing him eat the last burger wrong and going to call him out on it
My dumbass realising that he said it's a chicken sandwich

Ok I’m kind of burger-problematic
First of all I’m vegetarian so I always have a mushroom/bean based burger.
Also I do the upside down burger thing because it kind of just makes sense in my head? Idk...
everything except flippin the burger is correct
That was told by cat Matroskin many many years before Max :)
I learned the first one and always do it form the king of random, Rest In Peace 🕊🪦
You too, bro?
May he indeed, rest in peace.
R.I.P. Grant Thompson.
How many burgers did he eat to make a 47 second video?
My ex used to rip on me so hard for eating my burgers "upside down". I feel totally vindicated by this
In my 23 years on this earth, the juices have never made my burger “fall apart”
When he said a Chicken burger isn't actually a burger....My mind exploded.
You say that if you eat a burger upsidedown it can't fall apart but as you are doing it, it falls apart even more
This mans is spitting real facts
I'll risk getting sick for eating a good burger 😋😋
: Correct way to eating burger is upside down.
Him at the end : eating it upright.
Doesn’t matter that it comes from multiple cows, it’s because germs get penetrated through the entire thing during grinding but a steak only has surface bacteria, so raw meat inside is easier to be contaminated burgers
Yes. Finally someone else who eats it correctly/upside down
Eat your food however you want. As long as you enjoy it is all that matters.
Definitely right my friend ☑️
You can never convince Chandler to not take out the pickles
Somebody give this guy a grant! This is too notch science and it demands expert research!
I really know turning a burger upside down likely does nothing but I stand by it
I ate beef burger normally without pickles in mcdonalds

The correct way to drive a car is when its upside down because when the wheels are on top, theres no friction between the wheels and the road
So the Chicken “Sandwich” can be eaten right side up. 🍔🔃
I flip my burgers upside-down
nice point, unfortunately I do it like I want, nobody can stop me
1. I eat burger like that too!
2. I don't like pickles
3. Rare, medium rare etc aside from well done is raw to me
4. We have shrimp burgers on 7/11
He said don’t take out the pickle straight to heaven I went
Yes medium rare is bad from restaurants if you prepare and grind your own meat it's pretty safe
The correct way to eat burgers is by putting your pinkies and maybe your ring fingers under the bottom bun so its contents dont spill out the back, the flipping thing is on a case by case basis since some places do cut the bottom bun thicker, local burger addict at your service.
my favorite burger is bun patty bun i absolutely love it
That moment you’re allergic to pickles
Pickles trigger my sensory issues, so I ask for plain cheeseburgers every time. They might be part of the experience for some, but they ruin the experience for me. Other foods that are the same are cooked onions, mushrooms, and peppers.
Bro im trying to diet here
