I've learned a lot about inshore fishing from watching your videos! When I first started watching, I didn't know a sheepshead from a black drum, by watching you, you've taught me by example and I truly appreciate your videos! God Bless and keep you safe! Keep the videos coming!👍

Quite a shakedown cruise. Fingers crossed. Since we can't see them on-screen, it's always helpful when you mention the tides, currents, and water temperature.

We used to go to the jetty’s off Fernandina Beach Fla and throw a home anchor made of a large red brick just to get snagged tightly in the rocks close. Then with large cane poles fish with fiddler crabs. Could barely feel them bite cracking the shell but insane fun man. Great video as always. Blessings.

I was just down the direction. Caught a bunch of flounder surf fishing. Seems like every time I vacation in NC I always have my firsts. Like first Blue fish from a pier, first Spanish from a pier, fish blue from surf, first Spanish from the surf. I’ve caught puppy drum, croaker, striper, Spanish, spot, kingfish(whiting), blues, grouper, flounder, oyster cracker, puffer, spade fish, sheepshead, pompano, and needle fish all from the NC coast without a boat.

It's pretty inspiring seeing what you release. Commendable, my man. Those are solid! They used to be bycatch (blacks and togs, too) for us trout fishing with live shrimp.
You do make me nervous for you plunking them in your lap! Pain...
I'll be looking for you out there. I'm one of the boaters who eases up for the yaks. ✌️

Much respect for your catch and release mentality. I probably let 80% of the fish go that I catch down here in the lower Tampa Bay/Sarasota bay area and I mostly keep trout and give it to my parents! Lol they love fishing days!

My favorite salt water fish to catch and eat. I used fiddler crabs for bait. Certain times of the year, the meat tastes like crab, real sweet flavor. Used to fish them when I lived in Galveston, TX. off the docks, jetty and oyster reefs. yeah, your right, smaller is perfect for eating, bigger tho lots of parasites.
