Realy dig your style of your videos: focused on the process (not you), good editing, sped up editing when appropriate, good clear sound and clear puctture with good camera angles. Also, good instructions with a humble personality. Cheers!
A great fix. The barrels are polypropylene, which gets brittle with age and exposure to sunlight. You were correct not to use Plastic Weld on it - it's one of the few plastics it won't work with. I occasionally see this toy at car boot sales - and the gun barrels are always busted. Nice one.
A trick I’ve found to make bang on accurate center drills in a round piece is to slowly rotate the piece as you are drilling it. It allows you to make micro adjustments as you drill.
On a normal fix that would be easy enough. But not on this one. The inner piece is very hard to work with as you can't see what you are working on. I'm happy with the result I ended up with.
@@toypolloi love this.i have the action force version (and I mean the actual action force "z force" release complete with the box, instruction sheet and unused sticker sheet.
Wondered how you would get on with a slightly hidden drilling like that. You did very well. I wouldn't like to have taken that on myself. I prefer to see what is going on all the time. Keep them coming.
It comes to mind that the ends of the plastic needed to be properly lined up first. Which we didn't see you do. Then also what you could have done was drill a 4mm hole in the gun and added filler (super glue and baking powder) and hold it straight while it dried.
To remove pencil writing, its best to first try erasing it with a charcoal eraser, its much softer and gummy and it wont stress the surface as much as a pencil eraser.
I had the Z force version of this. I remember playing with my nephews and using it for extra-judicial courts martial executions.. then my Mum stepped in and got me on war crimes.. ahh, good times.
When there is not a great deal of surface area for the glue to adhere to and a likelihood that pressure can be put on the long barrel extra support is always a good idea. Saves having to repair it a second time.

Thanks Scott. It supposed to be about the toys, not me. I'm not as interesting as the toys. They are what everyone wants to see.
Love watching the videos. Seeing the old toys you repair reminds me off my youth .
I'm watching this at 3:00 am, another entertaining fix, great video, thank you Dave!
probably the best gi joe trailer vehicle
I love G.I. Joe 🤤 I’m surprised at how well those figures and vehicles hold up 🤔
Great video 👍🏽✌🏽
Great fix. The Whilrwind was one of my favorite Joe toys as a kid.
Nice fix as always, that figure I sent you looks great with the accessories.
Thanks. I am getting a nice little collection of Joes now. Fun to fix.
Loved the underwater shot! Lol. Great fix! Keep it up!
Another great fix of a beautiful toy. It was pretty smart to stabilize this way the piece with some paper. Thanks for sharing!
Great fix! So pleased to get a new video from you!
Yes the sink Cam is back!!!
Hey Dave
Thank you for sharing your videos.
Edit; Always enjoy them.
I hope that all is well.
Take care 🙂
Tricky one with a clever fix-- great job, Dave!

I'm on the look out for one of those. Had that as a child. Loved it. Love that box art work too.
In less someone checks your display they'll never know! And it looks excellent!! Great video👍☯️👍
Back in the 80's this was $3.99,but you got a sweeter deal than that. Nothing's sweeter than free 99.☺️
Cool toy! I would have had Star Wars Stormtroopers manning that thing when I was little if I'd had one. :-)
BassmanDan Martin I did!!! Great minds think alike lol
Great video as always! This toy was my favorite towed weapon. It spent most of its life behind my VAMP.
Brother, to me everything you fix is PERFECT!!!😁😁😁
Nice job 👍👍👍

I have the WHIRLWIND as well; its one of my faves in my GI JOE collection. I'm sure TP can save this one.
nice synth-soundtrack!
another good fix
Just seen yo on TV today. Sweet

There is not space for a 4mm hole to be drilled. 3mm is the maximum.
Now all you need a jeep to go along with it. As it can be towed by most jeeps in the line.
Care to give a thought on which manufacturers from now and then still hold to good standards of production and viable toys years after they're made?
any tip for unglue superglue? i have a gi joe with their legs superglued to his waist and i'm going crazy
Pick it off carefully. There are chemical removers but they damage the plastic.
ie got an sas missile tank its missing the clip that hols the missile rack on the turret has anyone got one spare?

I have the z-force version STILL in its box.
I *LOVE* your submerged camera effect! Is that a waterproof camera or is your camera in a transparent container that is sitting in the water?
It’s a waterproof camera.
@@toypolloi Sweet!
There was no need to drill it. Straight on super glue would've worked.

as a lego collector i always cringe when you cut up lego pieces like they all look like old lego plastic so it hurts my heart a bit
I'm sorry. But there are millions of lego pieces out there, and they are still being made, so I don't think it will be a problem.
Dammit, not first.
Very lazy of the yanks to rebadge proper Action Force as this Gijoe.
it was done when Hasbro bought out the palitoy company
