This is your best paint job so far. Nice job.
Excellent conversion from a old police car to a private car version........5 star
Very nice paint job and details.
Great job with the Alpine Sports car cool paint job .
You have done a great job, well done.
Beautiful car, great job on the mirrors.
Great job picking the color scheme
Looks awesome. The colours are a great choice.
Very nice. What a transformation. Almost did not need stripping, there was so little paint left.
Fantastic detail work!
Wow what an improvement that turned out great my friend.
Amazing transformation!
Very nice custom! Excellent job
Nice custom restoration Danny, well done!....Bill
Beautifully done, thanks for the video!
Dan that looks great well done
great mold and great updates
I watch many of your videos - and they are fun and informative. This car turned out fantastically! :)
Nice Restoration Danny
Love the metallic blue!
Brilliant work👍
That Alpine would make a great post apocalyptic vehicle.
Another brilliant resto mod. I have one of these in my collection and would love to have this treatment on mine!
Awesome work
Excellent job!
Looks wonderful Danny
Nice job Danny. Like the improvements you made ... 5☆'S
beautiful job,love your videos👍👍👍
Fabulous job Danny
Yes. How I started to really love Alpine Renault for reals. As well as Rally, but this model had me smitten. It was also one of the rare Cars available here (Can) that I found to give the Mad Max feel while playing. Great Police Conversion, top job finish!
It looks real, I love it, A++++!
Well done. It looks very cool .
It turned out very nice !
Great job...as usual!
Turn out awesome I like the color
100 times better than the original!
Thanks, I thought it looked a very clean casting, no flashing.
Many French sports cars were used by the gendarmerie, not by the police it is not necessary to mix all. The gendarmerie used them on the highways as an interception car, the Matra Jet, the Alpine A110, the Alpine A310, and also the Citroën SM Maserati. His vehicles were used in the '70s. My father was a gendarme, so I’m familiar with that.
The blue and black scheme really gives that car new life.
As always excellent work.
Handsome little Alpine
Fantastic detailing and paintwork, those fabricated side mirrors look legit.
Another top custom job mate👍
Awesome work , cool car . Next !! ..........................Mike Espo..
Nice Alpine Danny
Beautiful job! I love the blue you selected, and all of the customization (inside and out) looks terrific!
I love the casting, turned out quite nice. Nice color and the replacement side mirrors are a nice touch.
Another good one! Cheers
Great job!
just Brilliant!
Great job
wow! It's nice car!!
As always you did a good job! it is nice casting except I might have not put the side mirrors back.
wow, you realy painted and detailed that car realy nice, and alpines are Always the best in that metallic blue. but as a matter of fact this car realy was a police vehicle in france, but only on the highways. just like porsches in holland, where i live. 30 years ago they used sportscars
The model looks so much better now. It looks like it was just opened out of the box. Thanks for sharing this great tutorial.
Very Nice 👍
I was intrigued to see if the Alpine was actually used as a police vehicle and sure enough the Gendarmerie version existed and looked awesome. Another quality custom man!
P
You hit a home run with this car!!! Love the correct size wheels! Details look fantastic Danny !👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. "Ren-o" 😁👍
The best colors and details for that beautiful restoration.
Nice work!, love the details and how you replaced the side mirrors
Very nice inside and out. Great hole fix and mirrors. Another sweet ride.
That is sharp! One of the coolest cars Renault ever built, I wish I could have one haha.
Omg! I played so much with this model back when I was a kid! This was my favorite police car I ever had!
Great custom Danny. Beautiful colour/paintjob and some serious wheels. Thanks for the video.
Nice restoration. This was an exotic alternative to the Porsche 911 and did very well in rallying and circuit racing.
I always enjoy your detail work on the interiors. Really brings these to life.
I used to have this car, lost it :( . Great job though, looks amazing .
I love Majorette! Really underrated brand even if they have some funny ideas like making a rally car into a police car.
I love the color and the way this turned out. The headlights look a little disappointing, wondering if some chrome behind them would help. Great wheels and I love how you replaced the mirrors.
This Alpine use to be in french gendarmerie in the 70s-80s.
Beautiful mate🔥🔥🔥
From the side view this looks like it could be the gadget mobile if the gadget mobile was a little less DeLorean like. Love the shade of blue you went with
You're voice is the same as jimmy laughnan out of CHOPPER.. To funny love your video's .
AWESOME
Looks good Danny well done Brian Thailand
Excellent job, glad you got rid of the police light. 👍👍🏻😉
Again another beautiful job knock it right out of the park excellent
Nice job Danny that Renault Alpine looks great 👍
Excellent brush work Danny , the detail work is great.
All the best.
Another great transformation. While this does resemble the gadget mobile, for me, the Siva just pips it due to the part that goes over one side to the other.
That blue looks excellent! This turned out great-can't tell where the police light used to be. 👮♂️👮♀️redoing the side mirrors turned out well too. Nicely done!
Nice looking car,Danny.Well finished
Top job Danny, very faithful to the real cars! If I remember correctly the real Alpine's were fitted with a rear mounted PVR V6 similar to the later DMC 12.
A great transformation - simple but effective...
Nice
Wow this is my fav restauration! I love the alpine and I've seen it in real life so yeah it's cool to see how you restore such a nice toy car
I've only discovered Majorette's recently and the castings are not bad at all. Plenty of detail... You've managed to enhance all that detail. The black trim around the windows... Free hand????? Wow !! Great stuff Danny
I like it! It came out really good! Now I would've liked to have seen it as a police vehicle as well! With a police decal across the bottom of the doors! But either way it looks realy good!
Looks amazing! This blue is the perfect color for that car and the black details make it even better! :-)
I wish I could have all of your cars
And that’s not just to make you happy it’s too let you know that I *LOVE* your channel
That’s an odd looking car but awesome work 🔥🤘🏻
Hello from Fresno California USA.
Would be interesting to see you take apart a Hallmark ornament ( the ones with batteries) and make headlights and such for your cars
yeah I will get some little LEDs and put them in some stuff eventually, its on the list. Check out Editor Gandalf he does some cool stuff like that.
Really looks good! The mirrors seem a bit out of scale, and Majorette gave them poor placong to begin with (they should sit below the beltline on the doors), but you did a great job overall. Love seeing different diecast brands being used.
That's way cooler than a police car version ! I can deal with a plain undercover cop car but not the full on lights etc. Very well done ! 🍻
I agree with what's been said before: Alpines always should be metallic blue. Nice one Danny :)
This was always one of my favorite cars.
Haha at first I thought it was the Gadget Mobile from inspector Gadget. Awesome video :D
It reminded me of the Gadget Mobile as well
@@Batmanbatman77 haha that's neat I didn't even know this car existed till Danny's video. I'm going to see if I can find one and do a gadget mobile xD
Me too
@@Captain-Palsy haha nice it's really neat to see a car like that
I love it when die cast company's use the windshield to make up the headlights! I will take lensed detail over paint any time!
The only thing that matters in this vid is how you made the side mirrors and you didn't show it... Great Job!!!
I just made some little rounded cones out of epoxy putty and when they were 95% cured i used a scalpel to cut them so they were both the same length 👍
You can actually throw those bases in some coccyx soda and get them super clean
Good job - just a hint, it's easier to remove Majorette axles by releasing the spring from the centre of the chassis first.
What !? You tuned a genuine Gendarmerie A310! I DO like your vids. Always very nice finish. But here it was a real interceptor on highways in the 70’s when French gov came with speed limits. Before these little sporty bleu cars gendarmes were unable to stop Citroën SM or Porsche. So this model is not a joke from Majorette company but a real case. It is almost impossible to find the real one now.
I have another one in better condition with the side mirrors.
