the ironic part is the fact that at least 8 of 10 artists would have been "art-lore'd" by today's standards just from old art from the obligatory, canon event cringe phase(s)

the thing about the croaket situation is whenever you asked those bullies for evidence of them being racist, their response was always either 'hah you dont know? wtf theyre literally racist.' (deflecting from the question) or the excuse that they must be a racist because they 'used to be a dsmp fan'. i genuinely feel so terrible for them. im really happy that i started art at a young age and posted my art even when i was still a beginner to spaces outside tiktok and instagram that never got into negative spaces or enough virality to receive hate. i feel awful for artists who have their work go viral in a negative way

Tell me about it, dude. 😢 I’m a huge fan of stuff with somewhat complicated lore but because of people could confuse what I’m saying, I have to write OC backstory instead of art lore.
I cannot stand when I come across a beginner artist’s work and all the comments are like “oh!” “Cuteness overload!!” “That’s… something” like you didn’t need to say that. It’s so needlessly mean and cruel. I cannot understand the want to say something like that to someone who is just less experienced.
Exactly. They act like they expect people to automatically being a pro at art. And honestly, I think if they wanna say something, they should at least give constructive criticism.
@@YenNguyenhai-rb1ej don't worry, I'm new to this definition too. if someone said "cuteness overload" on my art I'd get warm fuzzies bc i strive for cuteness
The whole Croaket situation is just so depressing. But it does have a happy ending. They actually moved to Instagram, their art has been improving, and aside from occasional hate comments, they’re still confident and making art and everything is going good for them. I’m a beginner artist myself, and I want to make art and animations in a style inspired by Animaniacs, and I also thought about making abstract art inspired by old-OLD-school artists like Picasso as well as Æon Flux, The Nightmare Before Christmas and the works of Laika (You know, the company that made Coraline). However, my art skills still aren’t good because I wasn’t competent enough to draw more and learn new skills like anatomy because I was a dumb and lazy kid, but I plan on changing that by drawing more and learning more so I can improve my skills and become a professional. I so hope I never become a victim of art lore. Because even if I do try my best to ignore the hate and keep moving forward, it will definitely be a complete nightmare.
Nobody should ever bully a child over art.... . I started to get bullied over a baddly worded comment i posted to an art account i really liked. They made whole youtube videos making fun of my use of color in hair and color in general....was it a good move to just ignor them until they got board? (I dont know if they are or not...im afraid to check their new videos) I shut an entire account down so my bully wouldnt have anything new of mine to shame and belittle me or other artists. (This artist is growing and might end up replacing creepshow in the next few years)
Loved this video, I myself, a non-beginer artist have been through 'constructive critism' where people have commented on my art WITHOUT even ASKING for criticism (which is a whole 'nother problem in itself) You did a very good job wording this!
I absolutely agree that the topic of unwanted constructive criticism is also a problem. While some people have good intentions with their constructive criticism, I do think they should at least ask if they could provide it, just in case it's simply the style or just unwanted in general. Of course, they're free to say what they please, but it would be nice if they did ask. And thank you so much! :)
@@BreDrawz didnt expect to get commented on by a big creator but wow! Your perspective on things seems to be so intruiging and mature, and pretty much anyone can agree with your views. Just a personal message from me, keep going! Your art seems really fun even just by looking at it and I never can get bored looking at it lol. Thank you for being a good person basically.
Ive only given unasked for criticism once. It was a fan art and one of the hands was backwards. But before i even typed up my comment i scoured the comments (it was a smaller comment section so it was easy) to see if anyone else pointed it out. No one did so i did, the artist was chill said something like "no! Now i cant unsee it!" But there are other things that couldve happened. For example another artist i follow had this same error and had to disable the comments section because people kept bringing it up despite them pinning a comment saying like "i KNOW now please just enjoy the remix". When it is one or two people pointing something out in a polite way most people are fine with it but when theres hundreds, even in a polite way, pointing it out then there is a problem. Honestly i dont think this is the best example because it was an obvoius error and not a choice.
@@maggie3060 In my honest opinion, it's kind of a good thing you did point it out as the creator didn't notice, but even then before you could of said that maybe you could've went 'Hey do you mind if i can give you some criticism?' and wait for their reply if it's a small comment section, but at least you were polite! like in the video, people have no idea how constructive criticism works and you did a pretty well showcase on it. ive seen your example of hundreds of people calling out a mistake and i find it annoying to even see in creator's videos lol.
@@R4in_cl0ud nowadays i probably would do that but when i was younger commenting always felt like throwing snow at the wall, it sticks and people can see it but they do not comment on it. And yeah even for the viewer those sorta of comments are very annoying
Thanks for watching the video! I'll have a short video coming up Friday-Sunday (I'm not sure when it'll be done, but it'll be posted one of those days). uhgghhh your art is SO beautiful i wanna chomp on it!!! side note, i literally stopped posting on tiktok in fear of getting “art lored!!” I’m really thankful that i was around when people ACTUALLY gave constructive criticism but it really sucks how today people can’t even ask for help anymore without getting made fun of 😭😭
Thank you so much!! :D I'm so sorry you felt you had to resort to quitting posting due to the fear of being 'art lored'. It's absolutely disgusting how the community is, but I'm glad you were there in the better eras of the community on that platform when you did post. It sucks it didn't remain that way.
As someone who got bullied on tiktok for posting art, even an adult who was at an art school (they had hyperrealism drawings on their account etc.) told me stupid things. I was pretty young(like 10 or something) I thought I was finally improving but then people said dumb things, I honestly felt bad. But I turned my furious and sorrow feelings into motivation because I will never see those people in real life. They are just dumb people who likes to point out peoples flaws. Now Im way far better than who Im used to be as an artist, Im learning anatomy, perspective and much more. I am proud of how much I improved thanks to their idiotic words. I hope that Criket recovers from what they had to face, there wasnt anything wrong with their drawing.
i gave a kid, that posted a video of them tracing for practice, actual help and advice while everyone else was bashing them. i told them something around the lines of: hey! just so you know, tracing is okay if you're using it to practice in private but the art where you trace should be kept in private and not posted! i cant wait to see where you go in the future though, you genuinely have potential
It’s migrating to Instagram reels SEVERELY too, like. I think platforms that are introducing or have introduced short videos are adopting this culture within the community
holy fuck yes. and if the artist states theyre young then the comments will just be "im gonna touch you lil n word" like wtf. why is saying that even a trend
As a furry artist, I remember getting art lored because I used to not know how to shade my art, and I also didn’t put watermarks on my art (I still don’t cuz I’m just too lazy to do that) and people began stealing and fixing my art. They also sent death threats many times and they said if they ever saw me, they’ll “put a bullet through my skull.” I now only share my artwork in private with friends, but occasionally I do post my art for the public to view, a lot of the criticism died down because I did start shading my artwork, but I still don’t put watermarks.
You know that the characters in some old cel-animated cartoons sometimes don't have shading when they're in light or sun? I plan on making art in those styles. Don't feel bad for not shading.
I've seen a lot of abelism within the art community as well. It's sad when we use art as a coping mechanism and an escape, an people decide to say stuff like "You're so edgy." "Are you acoustic?". "It's not that deep." Regarding vent posts about how we're treating in the everyday life. I've seen a ton of horrible videos of people making fun of others vent posts which is really gross.
It’s okay! I’m sure you didn’t have sinister intentions, and it’s okay to find the style a bit strange and funny, as long as you aren’t actively making fun of people! :)
In school when I was 8-10 I was constantly bullied because I didn’t want to learn anatomy and didn’t draw “correctly” and that made me less motivated to draw and even discouraged me big time so eventually I just stopped showing people my art and stopped drawing in general I now realize that wasn’t the right path to take and I wish I could go back in time to reverse it but remember if you want to quit because of some random persons comments then stop.the person doesn’t even have to be random it can be your friends like in my case that would bully you for your art just tell them that you have a boundary and if they don’t respect that they’re toxic for that.just remember do what you love and don’t listen to anyone else
Honestly most of these children’s art on TikTok look wayyyy better than what I could draw when I was their age, and I’m an artist too. I’m just happy there’s so many kids with the potential to be great artists.💚
as a person who made a bait artlore video (that got 1mil views) its actually insane how quick artists are to degrade other artists. Infact it blew up more than my videos with my actual art on it
nah cuz i posted a drawing of miguel in tik tok thinking the drawing wasn’t that bad. I got a few comments being like “…” “don’t draw him in your style again” etc. I deleted it immediately before more people saw it and i became the new art lore since i deadass didn’t wanna deal with drama at that time. like i don’t mind people telling me what i can improve on when it comes to my art but god damn 💀💀

The whole bullying-helps-people-improve-their-art thing could be part of ever braindead, “Bring Back Bullying” movement I’m seeing on RUclips. Basically, people with low braincell counts are saying that people they deem as, “weird” should be relentlessly bullied.
I honestly miss the days where people where younger kids who lurk on the internet in the art community can free post whatever they want art wise without getting form of hate. Like i just wanna know what damn tiktok people say to the Diveantart side of the art community because clearly they dont know nothin about beginner artists.
dunno why you arent famous tbh. this is worded amazingly and im so happy to see more people talking about how cruel 'art lore' is and just how terrible it is to be a beginner artist online. keep up the good work, your art styles amazing, might end up binging your channel honestly
i remember playing free draw on roblox where you can draw on the ground and there was this bacon who just kept telling me its weird and i still remember the exact phrae they said "BUT THE HANDS😭💀" like that actually made me think i should quit but now my art is amazing.
first of all your art is scrumptious:3! + second of all as someone who started 6 years ago i am SO glad i didnt go through this. if one of my old cringey art tiktoks got that amount of hate comments i would’ve definitely quit. i’m so happy that art lore isnt a big trend anymore (from what i’ve seen) and great video ^_^
It makes me really sad when I see people dogpiled for their art, I remember commenting on a post making fun of a kids drawing of Miguel O’Hara on Pinterest saying it was wrong to be this mean (only person who wasn’t shitting on them unfortunately) and people THOUGHT I WAS JOKING. I WAS NOT.
i'm super glad i found ur channel; this is so important to talk about !! i adored your art style, and the way you explain stuff is really good ! thank you for making a video about this, while it might not change most people's way of thinking, it's good to bring light to the situation, which shouldn't even be happening. it's crazy how people react to different art styles in such a negative way, grown ass adults too like😭? im a young artist myself (i only recently started to actually draw more) and ive wanted to post art, but the utter FEAR of getting shit on is real. i wanna learn and improve, but the bullying is something i know i can't take very well. amazing video
bro im so tired of people just bullying random people just for an art style like come on now...we have an entire WAR going on and theyre worried abt what a 10 year old is doing lmao goodbye ☠️☠️ but aside from that, i love ur artstyle bro! i love how colourful it is :-)
This video was extremely informative. I wish people would talk about this more instead of just keeping it hidden away. Today as a society it has gotten worse than i could ever imagine. Ive literally seen people normalize bullying because they went through that too. Now ive been bullied before but not once do i ever think to tell someone to commit due to their own art style. To the people that do this need to realize art is not only a hobby but a form of fun and expression. We today need to speak more about these topics instead of just bullying people. We need to seriously do better.
Its terrible to know that people and sometimes fellow artists would bully you just for art its messed up and its disgusting it hurts to know fellow artists are harrassed and insulted for art even so far as to be sent death threats, i mean they are children that are bullied for an artstyle and as a minor myself its disgusting to see that artists possibly either a little older or younger than me are bullied i hope croaket is okay and same with the other artists who were bullied because of how toxic the tiktok art community is.
tik tok is insane genuenly. once i told some of those bullys to shut up cause they dont know what they r talking about, they made a come back like '' my sister takes art class in school, she sais it sucks and she is educated'' .....i have a degree for art, i went to school that isnt just one art class in just regular school, i went to art school n some kid sais their sister knows better then me bcs she took one class lmao and then even i got obliderated for my art style bcs since i got art degree they expect me to draw realism or some shit. lmao
as a young artist, you just got mega respect from me. When people comment "bad" what am i supposed to do? you're not telling me how to improve?? This video right here. This video should be the future of art online.
I actually made this account to post my art, but after I saw how much hate one of my friends got on TikTok for "Drawing cats the wrong way", I was scared to. I’m at a point where I’m still learning, so my art isn’t that "perfect". I also want to point out the fact that in art school/art lessons, if you don’t draw realistically, you get corrected- Like hello?? That’s like expecting every cat out there to be able to be trained as a dog, not impossible but unlikely.. especially on TikTok where there’s mostly anime and alt. Just like you said, there isn’t a correct way of drawing, if you don’t like an art style just scroll past 🤷♀️
same, I thought "new art lore just dropped" meant the character was part of creators series or something and that the character was a character people had been waiting for/were happy to see 😭
I've been in the art community and industry for a very long time now. These TikTok kids remind me of the old late 00s-mid 10s DeviantArt blogs, but dialed up to 100. It breaks my heart to see so many young and/or beginner artists lose faith in their abilities or interest in their craft. Please remember, your art is worth enough so long as you're trying and having fun while doing it! No one can dictate what art you make except for yourself. Even if you post online, remember that at the end of the day, art is for you, not them. They'll sleep fine at night even if you stick to your guns. You should definitely value people's opinions and critique, but there's no point in valuing bullies and harassment. I know that's easier said that done, but with great determination comes great reward. I 'm proud at the resilience of all of you; I barely made it through the DA days, but you're all so strong and I'm sure you'll make it out better than I did. Take care, everyone.
As a “beginner” artist I fear of getting art-lore’d to the point where I’ve made my account private. That’s how bad art-lore can be. I’ve even gave art tips to people and I’ve gotten replies saying I’m hating on their art style (how? I’m just giving tips to help them improve.)
i LOVE the art style ohmygod its like if homestuck, modern dragon ball manga, and … well… YOU did the mighty morphin power ranging!!!! (translation: ur characters short and good)
im glad you spoke about this, this video gives me confidence to post my art on tiktok (i havent done it, but i probably will) and deal with backlash and hateful comments, thank you :]
I agree sm with this vid. This sadly also happens on Instagram reels. Like holy sh-t Instagram reels comments are so horrible I feel bad for any beginner artist when they try to post there. The comments would always be filled with gifs that are meant to dislike or bully the artist.
I genuinely had a nightmare where my art turned into art lore 😭 artist should never feel afraid of posting their art bc of people picking on it for the slightest mistake :(
You know what art lore should actually be? How your art progressed over the years, How it improved, And how you got inspired to do art. Thats what art lore should be.
your video is actually really good, the way you talk about things is great and the speedpaint in the background is mezmerizing, you're so talented! >:3
nice video! you speak really concisely, I did not think it was off at all, and your mic wasn't too fuzzy. I've never used Tiktok before but i am a longtime social media artist. Very obviously, these users did not go through the days of old SolarSands & DeviantCringe, or they wouldn't be acting the exact same way, but cattier. Anyway, art lore seems like a mix of people wanting to make fun of others for being innocently bad at a skill (natural behavior for kids & immature teens/young adults), wanting to justify it, so they look to see examples on their platform of choice where rude behavior towards others is tolerated, see that people generally accept rude behavior towards individuals who have done something morally wrong of some kind, and then decide to pick through their targets behavior to assign some kind of moral wrongdoing to them & thus internally (and externally) justify them just wanting to be an ass for a petty reason. I think social media in general teaches people unhealthy ways to express displeasure for things in general, and so communities like this sprout up as a result.
even with the arguement "if you post on the internet expect hate" i post my art to instagram and not once in the 4 years have I gotten a single hate comment and i started posting when i still gave humans circle heads. my old art and captions are cringe but never did/have i gotten hate for it. i know that my experience isn't everyones (my account is small lol), but it still shows that even beginner/young artists can (and should) be able to post without getting hate. If my old art got hate comments i probably would have quit art and would not have some of the friends i do now from the instagram art community.
I've even seen some people who just outright hate them and use the excuse of "criticising" like THEY'RE NOT EVEN HELPING THEM AND JUST STRAIGHT UP BULLYING THEM
I feel so lucky to not be using tiktok it seems like a website where if you make ONE tiny mistake everyone hates on you its just not okay to do. Also, there’s many people bullying others. When I post art I do it on Pinterest, NOT tiktok. Honestly, I might never post. I post art on this website you and I do get hate but not always. Someone on RUclips once said Something like “your art is bad, no one cares.” So what I just did was delete the comment and move on with my day. The thing about this topic is if someone is bullying you don’t give up on art just because someone is being extremely rude to you, you could quit the account and shut down your comments but you could also continue art NOT on the internet. If you are getting bullied alot for that one mistake, yeah, you can quit the account but you know “never give up!” Never give up on art. You could be drawing a stick figure and get hate, its ok you dont need to quit art. Another thing, if someone’s art is ugly to you, it doesnt mean you go your way and say its ugly, especially if you’re a FULL GROWN adult. If I found out my MOM or DAD did that id be shocked and honestly mad. Also, theres a problem on youtube where if you comment something like “I liked my own comment!!” Everyone in the replies tell you they dont care or to shut up, and thats not ok. If someone comments something like that and you do that think twice because thats just wrong to do and I honestly feel bad for doing that myself so please. Well hope this teached you something, have a amazing day !!
I’ve always wanted to post my art online, especially because I’ve seen a lot of cool content and have things I think people would like, but after the croaket situation I’ve stopped even trying, even though I still really want to :(
Three things!! 1. You’re new to commentary??? I seriously would’ve thought you’ve been doing this for ATLEAST 2 years with how fast and confident you speak! Keep it up!! 2. You are absolutely right! This kind of stuff makes me scared to start posting my art online!! But I’m getting more confident because of people like you and this has made me want to post some speedpaints or something just because I understand that it’s okay now!! 3. I love your OC/Persona!! It gives me really big Ruby Gloom vibes and it’s really appealing to look at! I hope you continue to grow because your content is extremely high quality for a beginner! (I’m a beginner too so that’s saying something lol!) I’ll definitely be sticking around!
I'm glad you think my commentary was well! I'm also glad it has made you want to post speedpaints and art in general! And thank you so much! I LOVE Ruby Gloom so that is a HUGEEE compliment for me! I'm glad to hear you'll be sticking around :>

maybe its because im an adult, but bullying children for being children is so weird and gross. Like obviously younger artists art styles will suck, because they haven't been drawing for the same amount of time as adults to be able to improve their art because they literally havent been alive long enough. Its insane.
This is why I quited ttk when I just said like “ngl the face seems okay” when some one made a opinion vid where they prob said it was reused someone replied with “your eyes are so low” when my pfp THAT I DREW was the eyes were low. I kinda hate ttk rn bc how much toxicity it could go for ppl even kids around 8-12 it honestly disgusting. So ppl just be be careful of being on ttk if you have it bc it would be a mistake or smt that would change ur life. So as my short answer I definitely agree since I experienced this Edit: in my experience in a new account in TikTok right now it’s definitely fine right now but sometimes judgemental but yeah it’s pretty good right now but 2022 was a whole judgemental art community year-
fan art as well I have been seeing artists attacked for drawing a male character taller then the girl even though in cannon he’s shorter. But theses people attack people who draw him taller but draw him with their own head cannons. like the developers care about his height his height is inconsistent anyway
Im a artist myself and hearing about other people bullying other artists for there artstyle or just there work is just awful i dont understand why people are how they are
Tbh I'm not comfortable to post my arts on tiktok anymore even talk on my main acc for sharing opinions on the comments on that platform because I'm afraid that they will bully or harass me because of my art style and due to my art style seemingly looking close to a famous proshipper artist that many hated for obvious reasons I don't want to take risk of posting. It's sich how much people are normalizing bullying and harassment nowadays it's truly sickening, the once peaceful community filed with respectful and kind people now turned into this it's really sad to watch everything change like this
I used to think art lore was when people make lore ov their oc like when a youtuber makes a playlist called "My co's lore/backstory" it would be -art lore- cus it's art and lore but anyways i wish evry artist who posts their art out there god luck ♡ Your drawings don't deserve the things that are being said about it keep practicing, learning and dont give up
Im so glad im not the only one who sees how stupid this stuff is. Like ive seen people mock others art, hell someones even mocked mine once and it hurt, but seeing the extent some people go through over a STYLE and then people dsying its not a style because its "improper" PISSES ME OFF, like you wouldnt be saying thst to your childhood shows would ya? Hell Someone once tried to be rude to me bout my art, the person kept saying i was horrible at art and that it looked like a cheap cartoon style, im not sure if they were an adult or not but im a kid ill admit, ive taught myself art and took references from other artists first my art. So it was irritating for people, who ade older and just dont even do art, tell me how bad my art was when i used to think i was improving alot. I was and still am insecure of my art because of alot of people can would tell me hos bad my art was. Even my friend is scared their art wont be perfect because they draw in a sort of "anime"-ish way. Luckily ive never seen them bullies but ive gotten bullies alot over my art to the point i almksg completely chained my entire style snd designs

@@YenNguyenhai-rb1eji think it's a fancy way of calling someone's art is 'ugly'🙃
@@YenNguyenhai-rb1ej it’s definitely not a compliment, and it’s kind of like phrases “oh!…” or “is this real..”.
Thats good to hear.
@@randomwolfygirl Thanks. ^^

Nobody should ever bully a child over art....
.
I started to get bullied over a baddly worded comment i posted to an art account i really liked. They made whole youtube videos making fun of my use of color in hair and color in general....was it a good move to just ignor them until they got board?
(I dont know if they are or not...im afraid to check their new videos)
I shut an entire account down so my bully wouldnt have anything new of mine to shame and belittle me or other artists.
(This artist is growing and might end up replacing creepshow in the next few years)
What is the account? how did you word the post?
what account is it? i want to check it out and probably report it
Tell the account name NOW!!!!!
Loved this video, I myself, a non-beginer artist have been through 'constructive critism' where people have commented on my art WITHOUT even ASKING for criticism (which is a whole 'nother problem in itself)
You did a very good job wording this!

It'll be about a HUGE announcement that I am very excited to share! Also, if you enjoyed my video, consider liking and subscribing; it really helps!
i literally just found you like 10 minutes ago youre deadly underrated like what

uhgghhh your art is SO beautiful i wanna chomp on it!!!
side note, i literally stopped posting on tiktok in fear of getting “art lored!!” I’m really thankful that i was around when people ACTUALLY gave constructive criticism but it really sucks how today people can’t even ask for help anymore without getting made fun of 😭😭
Thank you so much!! :D
I'm so sorry you felt you had to resort to quitting posting due to the fear of being 'art lored'. It's absolutely disgusting how the community is, but I'm glad you were there in the better eras of the community on that platform when you did post. It sucks it didn't remain that way.
ur so real for that i bet their art style would taste like cheese crackers
YOU CAN'T EAT THAT ART, IT'S DIGITAL!! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO!?!?! TAKE THE DEVICE AWAY AND EAT IT!?!??!
Ur a huge W
It’s migrating to Instagram reels SEVERELY too, like. I think platforms that are introducing or have introduced short videos are adopting this culture within the community
holy fuck yes. and if the artist states theyre young then the comments will just be "im gonna touch you lil n word" like wtf. why is saying that even a trend
Instagram is even worse than tiktok.
I am OBSESSED over your art, the colors and lineart is so EATABLE, IT IS SO GOOD
TYSMM!!
As a furry artist, I remember getting art lored because I used to not know how to shade my art, and I also didn’t put watermarks on my art (I still don’t cuz I’m just too lazy to do that) and people began stealing and fixing my art. They also sent death threats many times and they said if they ever saw me, they’ll “put a bullet through my skull.” I now only share my artwork in private with friends, but occasionally I do post my art for the public to view, a lot of the criticism died down because I did start shading my artwork, but I still don’t put watermarks.
what the hell?! im SO sorry that happened to you. nobody should go through that.
You know that the characters in some old cel-animated cartoons sometimes don't have shading when they're in light or sun? I plan on making art in those styles. Don't feel bad for not shading.
Also one more thing, bullying an beginner artist would cause trauma for them.
They would gain insecurities about their art and themselves.
Awhile ago I was laughing so hard at "rendering style" I didn't realize how rude it was ;( I feel so bad even though I never made fun of someone-
I deleted it immediately before more people saw it and i became the new art lore since i deadass didn’t wanna deal with drama at that time. like i don’t mind people telling me what i can improve on when it comes to my art but god damn 💀💀
what the helllll... I bet it was awesome as hell too, cus they are always hating on people for NO REAL REASONNN. I'm so sorry that happened to you..

first of all your art is scrumptious:3!

Thank you so much! And it truly is sad that this is a thing artists have to fear.
bro im so tired of people just bullying random people just for an art style like come on now...we have an entire WAR going on and theyre worried abt what a 10 year old is doing lmao goodbye ☠️☠️

Agreed, it's so dumb, and scrolling literally exists for a reason 😭
And thank you so much!!
people will pile on someone just for drawing one wiggly line. 🤦♀
A legend was born
This is why I never go on Tiktok, people are quite... interesting there
This video was extremely informative.
The craziest thing abt it is that the ppl who insult beginner artists or artists in general are not even artists 99% of the time
someone commented on one of my videos: "its rendering process all over again."
Just like you said, there isn’t a correct way of drawing, if you don’t like an art style just scroll past 🤷♀️
i used to think art lore was stuff like art history or history of digital art or animation memes
same, I thought "new art lore just dropped" meant the character was part of creators series or something and that the character was a character people had been waiting for/were happy to see 😭
Why aint you famous yet 😭⁉️ you deserve it
Awe, thank you :]
'm proud at the resilience of all of you; I barely made it through the DA days, but you're all so strong and I'm sure you'll make it out better than I did.

I agree sm with this vid. This sadly also happens on Instagram reels. Like holy sh-t Instagram reels comments are so horrible I feel bad for any beginner artist when they try to post there. The comments would always be filled with gifs that are meant to dislike or bully the artist.

@@BreDrawz No problem!

Not really on topic but ur art is sooo gorgeous!!
thank you!!
You know what art lore should actually be? How your art progressed over the years, How it improved, And how you got inspired to do art. Thats what art lore should be.
Yes
your video is actually really good, the way you talk about things is great and the speedpaint in the background is mezmerizing, you're so talented! >:3
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!! :}
nice video! you speak really concisely, I did not think it was off at all, and your mic wasn't too fuzzy.
"oh but if they're posting it on the internet they're asking for it" EXCUSE YOU?? HOW?
(anyway great video, I 100% agree to everything you've said)
even with the arguement "if you post on the internet expect hate" i post my art to instagram and not once in the 4 years have I gotten a single hate comment and i started posting when i still gave humans circle heads. my old art and captions are cringe but never did/have i gotten hate for it. i know that my experience isn't everyones (my account is small lol), but it still shows that even beginner/young artists can (and should) be able to post without getting hate. If my old art got hate comments i probably would have quit art and would not have some of the friends i do now from the instagram art community.
I feel like ppl are gonna com back in the future and say "this is where a legend was made" :]
that's why i stopped using tiktok since late 2020, and thank god i did

this is why i hate and dont use tiktok, people are jerks and need to get a life,
oh oh i love your shading style in the background drawing
THE ANATOMY IS SO GOOD WHAT DO THEY MMEANN!?!?!?!
I've even seen some people who just outright hate them and use the excuse of "criticising" like THEY'RE NOT EVEN HELPING THEM AND JUST STRAIGHT UP BULLYING THEM
this video has some really good points but your art?! i love the way you lineart, color, and shade! i've always wanted an artstyle like yours! :]
Tysm!!
(I’m a beginner too so that’s saying something lol!)
I’ll definitely be sticking around!
I'm glad you think my commentary was well! I'm also glad it has made you want to post speedpaints and art in general! And thank you so much! I LOVE Ruby Gloom so that is a HUGEEE compliment for me! I'm glad to hear you'll be sticking around :>

So as my short answer I definitely agree since I experienced this
Edit: in my experience in a new account in TikTok right now it’s definitely fine right now but sometimes judgemental but yeah it’s pretty good right now but 2022 was a whole judgemental art community year-
fan art as well I have been seeing artists attacked for drawing a male character taller then the girl even though in cannon he’s shorter. But theses people attack people who draw him taller but draw him with their own head cannons. like the developers care about his height his height is inconsistent anyway
HSHSHSHS YOU'RE SO UNDERRATED??? I THOUGHT YOU WERE WAY MORE POPULAR
HAHA THANK YOU 🖤
Im a artist myself and hearing about other people bullying other artists for there artstyle or just there work is just awful i dont understand why people are how they are
Tbh I'm not comfortable to post my arts on tiktok anymore even talk on my main acc for sharing opinions on the comments on that platform because I'm afraid that they will bully or harass me because of my art style and due to my art style seemingly looking close to a famous proshipper artist that many hated for obvious reasons I don't want to take risk of posting. It's sich how much people are normalizing bullying and harassment nowadays it's truly sickening, the once peaceful community filed with respectful and kind people now turned into this it's really sad to watch everything change like this
I used to think art lore was when people make lore ov their oc like when a youtuber makes a playlist called "My co's lore/backstory" it would be -art lore- cus it's art and lore but anyways i wish evry artist who posts their art out there god luck ♡ Your drawings don't deserve the things that are being said about it keep practicing, learning and dont give up
i swear some people cant understand the diffrence between bullying and criticism. ALSO UR ART IS LITERALLY SO PRETTY OMG
