That video was the first of hers that I’d ever watched and I thought it was very well made and she explained things perfectly. It felt like everyone in the comments didn’t even watch five minutes of the video, everyone completely misinterpreted what she said despite her making her position clear multiple times. It was very discouraging to see.
Mhm, I think she DEFINITELY knew what she was doing was wrong at least after the fact, but her being immature just didn’t care. Although, hopefully this situation makes her mature a bit, at least in the future
@@BreDrawz anyone using a tutorial would just give credit to the artist but just copying work is wrong if you steal you stole a 13 year old has no pity
Could be a trap for young artists. Since she made it clear that she loves the (negative) attention and would do it again. Chances are that she genuinely looks for stuff like this to leech off of :/
can i be real... the jelly art style is SOO common and it is so hard to tell the difference between each artist doing it unless you really are in arttok or they have their watermarks... she took it *wayyyyy* too far when the style is SOOOO common among this platform.
i honestly agree, as much as i love the style, sometimes it is hard to tell who made what jelly art piece. which of course doesn't make the style bad, but it should be kept in mind in situations like this.
Everywhere I go I see jelly art style on my Pinterest, even though I like the art style, I think it’s a bit annoying if all art convert to jelly art style.
it is very common that art style and she did take it to far and as for the way shes acting now she will keep her fanbase but its gonna become more toxic towards ppl as long as she acts like that and some might even turn toxic towards her if shes not careful
@@splashy7479 REAL! + the way riri acted was v immature, despite their age gaps. why is no one talking booth how good the 13 yo art is, I’m sure she looked up to riri and tried to do their best. sad to see idols not being idols.
As an artist, I can understand how riri acted to an extent, but publicly humiliating a kid that DIDNT EVEN TRACE, that’s a bit weird to me 😭 when I was drawing at 13, I heavily influenced my style on other artists. Sometimes it’s hard to make up your own style right from the get go and “copying” art works for practice is a perfectly fine way to get the hang of drawing in styles you enjoy. The thing I don’t get too is why riri is acting like she owns that art style…. Like my brother in Christ you made TUTORIALS for people to follow and are now getting mad at it because someone followed it 😭😭 it just proves she’s doing it for clout. Esp the thing about “I don’t regret it, I would bash them again and again idc” proves that she just wants attention 💀 Edit: a person in a tik tok made a good point and i fr think riri probably saw that a 13 year old could do what she did and felt threatened 😭 so she decided to send her fans after that person out of sheer jealousy. I mean it honestly makes a lot of sense considering the whole “no heavily referencing” thing but ofc I’m not gonna state that as the truth.
The fact that the kid didn’t even trace got me sm I feel rlly bad for her and all the allegations and accusing of her “tracing” putting all her hard work and effort to waste just like that Honestly I hope she is alright
My first drawings are all bad copies of Scott Christian Sava's art. That's how I started. And do you know what he does when someone sends him a piece that is clearly copied from his style? He shares and supports the artist by tagging them on his stories. He is one of the bests on YT along with Proko and all but he is quite good. I don't know Riri but seeing what happened, I don't think she is a good person. What Scott does and Riri did is the exact do and don't. It is what to do and not to do.
I agree too I follow her if her account is still up and a problem I have w artist like her is they don’t care if ppl follow her art style but it’s when they’re good at it and start to gain a following if that makes sense. I hate that sm like ughghhhhhhhh hate that.

Yes we can It's so pretty it makes us cry It's so beautiful it makes us turn into akumas (demons and yes it is a gacha bad boy reference) It's so much better, then we can ever imagine It's so amazing it makes us sub It's so adorable it makes us riot It makes us smile and cures our depression It makes everyone happy Bre bee makes us happy (bre bee is a nickname I made up for her bc why nott ❤🖤🖤) And I may be late butt congrats on 10k!!
you physically CANNOT "make" and art style.. everyone's artsyle is all taken from the images and other artists you see when growing up. BTW, riri only put up the "don't heavily reference" bio thing AFTER she attacked the 13yr old. they didn't know she was 'uncomfortable' with it.
not finished with the video, but the pose that riri used was literally just a straight forward-facing, emotionless bust... something so common, that in that art style any drawing is bound to look extremely similar.
@@BreDrawz ???sorry if my wording was bad, i was agreeing with you ^^ what i meant was that its insane that riri called someone out for 'tracing' when the pose was so basic and common
i watched the “off yourself” comment unfold first hand. not only did she say it, but took a screenshot and BRAGGED about it too. when faced with criticism over it, she said she doesn’t regret it and won’t apologize in a snarky manner. way to act in front of your large young fanbase.
Wow I hate people like this the most. They're the type who's annoying and frustrating to deal with on social media thinking everything is a joke on what they say and does not think of the weight it has or the impact. I have my followers or people tagging me whenever there is art theft or just people younger than me using my art without permission or trying to trace it and my followers would tag me in it to tell me to do something about it. And I've dealt with them all quietly. I don't find the need to call them out or anything cus it's not monetary nor is it a big deal which I would explain to the people that tagged me and was raging in my behalf. I would tell the person what they did was wrong politely and most of the time they WILL understand or talk politely even if they come off as ignorant. The rude ones (who genuinely wants to ruin artists) I would warn my followers or fellow artists about it if they're big, but if they're a small acc I'll just reply in their comment section and leave it be especially If I'm sure of their thoughts or age.
The thing about social media is, people won't stop thinking of making it big. They would do anything to feel more powerful and would make any situation bigger than it actually is. It's honestly silly to look at. All these pointless internet dramas just for attention. Even in comments people take TOO FAR trying to defend whatever opinion they have
I’m sorry but no, she deserves to be deplatformed for how she’s acting. Riti knows that what she’s doing is wrong and she’s continuing to do it! She doesn’t deserve a place in the art community if she brings other artists down for her own gain.
Hey, hey! Thanks for watching, and if you have any ideas on what to speak about, go ahead and comment them! If people want to see me make commentary on specific situations again, I might (as long as they have to do with art), but I’m still not too sure if that’s the route I’d like to go. Edit: The user accused of tracings' mutual commented, as well as someone else, stating the account has not been banned and that the artist doing doing pretty well! They simply changed their user. :)) so WOOOO!! Also, the user talking about the Dollie situation mostly briefly mentioned it, but if you want a full run-through on everything, the link below goes over everything. ruclips.net/video/ct63RQzIknU/видео.htmlsi=NGZ9nmI4iKrMS1v-
Though this isn’t about a specific person this topic is about bigotry in the art community. With bigotry I can understand if you’re not apart of those groups effected but with research it could be a bit accurate but it wouldn’t be the same as someone from those groups talking about it and Goddess you may be apart of one of those groups effected by bigotry so the previous sentence is irrelevant. And though the only way I’m effected by bigotry is the fact I’m apart of the LGBTQIA+ community this topic is still very important to me. Of course you don’t have to make this video but other than that I enjoy your art! Your style isn’t like mine but u still think your art is very pretty and the style is cool!! :D
You're so close to 11k already, you can do it!! Also I've seen a lot of heat around "art style theft" recently, which kinda ties in with this video. Some people say you can't own an art style, but some people aren't happy about people drawing similarly to them and if love to hear your thoughts!!
I feel that you should have a balance instead of covering specific situations only, or just talking about art problems. Most commentators I've seen who cover drama have drifted away from art. Also, it would be better to have lighthearted fun everyday instead of drama, since I used to watch drama everyday and it was NOT good for my mental state.
I personally think you do redesign characters from shows.video games that could've have potential, but didn't give enough. These videos are so fun to watch and I personally think you COULD do them.
idk if riri had a right to be that mad in the first place. the only thing similar about the pieces is the mouth, and the pink eyes. The way things are rendered are very clearly different, not to mention the designs are almost completely different as well. and obviously she doesn’t own the character pose of looking in the camera. the only thing that was probably “heavily referenced” was the tutorial for the face. And jelly artstyle faces usually look similar…. If she didn’t want people to have similar colors and faces she probably shouldn’t have made a tutorial, because the point of those is the follow them and get mostly the same result.
Your always a breath of fresh air to me, your calm and explain the situation in a very simple but easy understandable way. I also always loved your oc❤️🖤
In every art class I've been in from middle school to college they teach you to reference. I will never understand personally why someone would get so upset over having their art referenced. It's the biggest compliment someone can give your work or you as an artist. It means they think your art is good enough to look up to. If you don't want your art referenced, keep it to yourself. If it's that personal, don't share it. This is just my personal view of it, I can understand if anyone disagrees.
Ye they teach you to reference but what if I reference the Mona Lisa and try to put it in the city Museum ? When do you Reference something you don’t completely copying from everything that’s drawn from it , you use it as a spec to draw your own work not copy or Trace it! What if your school taught you to do that then somethings wrong🥱 and age do not condone activity or behavioral things 😍 if you copy someone’s artwork you’re going to take accountability for that you guys trying to take up for the 13y this you condoning her tracing other peoples art and she’s gonna keep doing it until you guys tell her to stop😂😂
You are in every comment section here just defending riri with your entire soul and being. That is dedication. I did see you get corrected already about the "tracing" aspect, now that you know tha she did not trace, do you still think its valid to harass a kid because of a reference? @@Jordyn-c2k
@@Jordyn-c2k She’s a student artist, she isn’t making money off of it. It’s ok for student artists to show off their studies and work. An art study is taking a piece of artwork or an artist and learning how to do what they do. I can assure you, De Vinci did art studies too. In school we regularly had art shows where we would show off our (yes, sometimes referenced) work. It’s part of the curriculum for an artist and it’s how you grow and develop your own style. Also, you use WAY too many emojis dude, it’s hard to follow what you’re saying. Let the kids learn jfc.
not sure if this counts but in tiktok comments Riri has made replies how she doesn't regret a thing and there was a user that sent the video to Riri in the comments which Riri states she wanted to pin (i have the ss) so she was well aware that it wasn't traced. I also don't think Jelly art style belongs to Riri because it's just a combination of anime style and semi-realism and I've seen many artists draw in similar styles before it was popularized.
Jesus christ I had no idea how unhinged puririka was. I've heard about her here and there especially once the jelly art style took off and she was a big factor in that art style's rise to popularity but didn't hear much about her until this drama started popping up. And to be honest she disgusts me as a digital artist. I've had my own situation where someone WAS posting my artwork claiming it was theirs but it was very obvious the account was someone who was significantly younger than me (I'm 19) and even if they weren't I'd still just handle it privately through dms instead of making a big deal about it publicly because that's so fucking unnecessary. And unpopular opinion I guess but I think a child posting heavily referenced art IS a justifiable excuse. I think it's idiotic for Riri especially to get so upset over people heavily referencing her work when that's how the jelly art style came to be in the first place. There are hundreds of different artists who heavily reference her work whether it be how she renders, how she draws facial features, or what kind of hair or clothing she puts the figures of her work in. And why post art tutorials of exactly how you draw things if you don't want people to do so? Absolute fucking braindead thinking pattern. And I'll never understand how people will get upset at CHILDREN for heavily referencing their work out of admiration. It's what I used to do and what many of us did when we were younger! I've always seen it as just part of the art journey for many people. And heavy referencing isn't some new and evil concept. People do it for art studies. It's part of learning to to draw or paint the way the artist you like does. And therefore adding new skills to your drawing abilities. And everyone does it; not just children. Obviously posting copied or heavily referenced work as an adult is different than as a child, but if Riri had basic comprehension skills she wouldn't be tweakin sm over this. Some of these tiktok artists would crumble into a million pieces if they logged onto deviant art back in 2013 and saw groups and tons of young artists posting and sharing traced and heavily referenced artwork purely because they didn't know any better and were just having fun. They want to draw like the artists, shows, and video games they look up to and love and so they will. And they should, actually. Riri is just an egotistical nightmare and clearly doesn't deserve the platform she has. And art tiktok has yet to figure out that putting art in these boxes and bizarre rules will always just end up limiting everyone in the end. And it'll only drive more and more young artists away from creating art because people like this don't know how to fucking act and completely ruin art for them. Which to me- who found art and latched onto it every since I was a small child because it was one of the few ways I had to express myself and something I've held immense passion for since then- is one of the most evil fucking things you can do. I don't care that "Riri is just an immature 18 yr old". I'm a year older than her. She's just a bad person who only thinks about herself and if something can benefit her. To make something in art that is completely original and unique and never done before would be completely devoid of the human experience. Stop gatekeeping shit that doesn't need to be gatekept. And stop ruining art for kids. Art is a necessity for mankind.
Your opinion resonated the most with mine, age SHOULD factor stuff like this. Example; Like i am sorry but i can't really get mad at a 7-8 year old for searching "enimey gurl" on google or smth, picking an art they thought was beautiful and then trace it and post it to impress people. I can't really say "they should be held accountable" when they probably don't even know what accountable means 😭😭 (those accounts are often buried deep into the algorithm so usually the art community doesn't find them, fortunately & thankfully) Art theft in general though is genuinely infuriating & upsetting and is rightfully hated. And it's sad to see how many don't take accountability. my point is just that, the intention is so often innocent and mild..?? and there's so many factors about a child that it really does excuse it. The example i gave was different from the situation, i just wanted to prove my point on the age thing. I do understand how bothersome it is when people use their age as an excuse for something genuinely horrible though
@@hanin_gurl Exactly! I used to trace official artwork of my little pony and pokemon or follow tutorials and pretend i just came up with the process myself at like age 9. And sometimes I’d post it into the internet. It never got attention probably because most people at that time who were above the age of like 13 can wrap their mind around the idea that I was just a kid wanting to be a show off and innocently had no idea what I was doing. And now I’ve done commission work and am looking into going to school for art! Being the age you are when leaving high school of course doesn’t mean you know everything there is to know about art much less ab life but I just can’t comprehend Riri having that sort of reaction to a CHILD. And to then profit from it as well? She’s one of the biggest reasons art tiktok has become so insufferable.
Outside of art, drama like this is the reason why I really fucking hate most people nowadays. Most people just refuse to solve problems civilly and like normal people nowadays. Instead it’s all about insulting others, spreading rumors, harassing, doxing, and in some cases, murder. The human race is seemingly devolving as we know it. It’s also the reason why I love shows like Sesame Street, Bluey, and My Little Pony because they teach kids to be good people and to talk about their feelings, to talk things out and solve problems peacefully. I really think that some people really need to rewatch these kids shows. Because they seem to have completely forgotten the positive messages they teach. I honestly don’t like how people reject these shows because “Oooh, they’re for babies and if you like them, you’re a loser!” Bullshit. Just give it a chance. It might change your life for the better.
right! people nowadays likes to make an argument instead of trying to actually solve the problem. she could’ve said it nicely and just dm the 13 yr old saying she doesn’t feel uncomfortable with the 13 yr old heavily refrencing her art but noo
It started evolving at first, but then it just started going backwards and back to "any small thing you do that a person doesn't like will get you hurt if not killed" except the only difference is that there were no electronic devices back when the mindset was first like that.
I should count myself lucky that I learned self-reflection early on in my because of kids' shows as a child, it's thanks to them I grew up to find drama-inducing behavior ridiculous.
I’m glad you decided to put this out. You always talk about these issues respectfully, which is nice to see on the internet. Also side note, your drawing in this vid looks amazing, I love how you draw eyes.💚💚
I am going to add on to this comment that I did perhaps phrase it a bit wrong, attack isn't exactly the word that suits what Kyum did best. This is a direct quote from my friend that had a personal messaging going on with Kyum: "kyum said they did assist in like sending ss to riri but not necessarily directly attacked ppl yk kyum already got it worked out tho w dollie, n apologized, i think attack is too strong of a word for the situation, they r a minor too n was basically told by riri to do their dirty work 💀 the minor situation w riri, kyum didn’t attack the 13 y/o but did defend riri at first, they didn’t know how bad riri went w it"
About the video: I really liked that you talked about this problem and i also agree with your opinion and view the situation just like you! I also find it really sad when people who have a big audience use that to sent hate to others no matter if the targeted person is in the wrong or not I think situations like these should be handled more carefully and respectful and i wish people would learn to communicate properly and talk things out instead of hating on each other :( About you: I really love your art and videos i enjoy watching them normally but also while gaming or drawing! Your arstyle in general is really pretty and i enjoy the cartoony stile A LOT so please keep making more content and art! and i'll definitely keep on watching more of your conent in the future :D also you (along with Thumin and Mohammed) inspire me to become a commentary artist myself! for now im still to "shy" to do so but maybe one day i'll be as great as you and the others

Another day, more drama about the art community will come out. I knew about the situation for a bit but you covered the topic very well. I agree that Riri should have just settled it in a dms or asked for a speedpaint. It's sickening that she doesn't care if people get doxxed, harassed, or deplatformed because of her own stupid choices. And what happened to Dolliestra is upsetting, since she literally wasn't even talking about Riri.
Honestly if puririka didn't want people heavily refferencing her art, she shouldn't have made art tutorials that practically show how to replicate her artstyle. Also looking back at the artstyle itself, it's practically one dimensional looking back at the same face syndrome, and the same perspective that's included in every single one of puririkas drawings, so leaning onto that, of course once people will try to draw the same doe eye shape big juicy lips girl, it will look the same to puririkas art because that's legitimately the only thing that the jelly artstyle has to begin with. There's nothing to explore so everything just looks like a replica of eachother, with the difference being the hairstyle and/or clothing. Also the age gap between puririka and the person who heavily refferenced her art (that puririka later publicly made fun of) is actually significant due to the maturity level. Puririka herself should have known better, and that is just a common sense act. Now imagine being a thirteen year old that just wanted to refference of off her idol recieving so much backlash for such a reason. That's just inherely immature.

Man, bro some artists are just wild. The art community itself is wild and it should be a free space to create and learn. Yet of course people make that very complicated. I myself had been in a situation of finding my favorite artist turn out to be a bad bad person that they even deleted all social platforms and it hurt because I really liked their art, like I have a whole story of them what they did to someone. It's unrelated to ur video but it just proofs that the art community just can be a stressful place man. Keep well ❤️
oh hey i saw dolliestra's vid, no clue why puri decided to go after them since they weren't talking negatively about anyone in particular (iirc, their main criticism about the style was more of a general criticism rather than one focused at a particular individual). also, if i can be honest, a lotta the facial proportions that people use this style are really similar to one another. that's why puri's whole public shaming thing is so dumb to me, especially with the added knowledge that they apparently have *tutorials* for this specific style. in fact, due to how similar a lot of the proportions are (as well as the fact that most of the artwork i've seen in this style are primarily front-facing headshots), this is surprisingly one of those rare occasions where overlaying artworks on one another actually wouldn't be solid proof of someone tracing. LMAO I JUST GOT TO THE ART STYLE THEFT PART WHILE WRITING THIS god that's such a stupid argument, especially with the knowledge that they made TUTORIALS FOR THE STYLE THAT PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSEDLY "STEALING" anyway good vid, glad i don't use tiktok, also congrats on 10k bro

@@BreDrawz your art is absolutely mesmerizing, and the way you talk about this topic in a simple way that my tiny bitty brain could understand is very very helpful🥲🥲🥲
I’d like to add, if riri only had to not heavily reference in her bio, then some may not read that sadly (this is not mean the person’s actions were right)
Omg, when you're young, you look up to other people. Especially for art, like a young plant. But the way riri acted over someone having a common artstyle goes crazy. This is why I draw with a really cartoony style.

Ok, you are a really understanding person. you sound young and i am amazed if you are actually a minor, if you are a minor then your parents raised you well. as much as Puririkaaa was really mean it seems she did have a reason to be upset.
I think that people CAN create/own an art style, but they shouldn’t have total control over it. What I mean is that everyone should be able to use that style. I think that the the creator shouldn’t say that they own it and nobody can use the style, but this is just my opinion. Congratulations on 10,000 subs! 🎉
It's the fact the artist who got attacked was 13. The likelihood of that child copying every image is extremely high, but that's how children artists are. An adult sure, i could see you giving them side eye, but adults know better, and can think independently. Kids don't, and kids often copy people they look up to.
Thank you for including my art :) and i am happy you like it !! And this video was really interesting :) thanks for making this video to inform us I really didn't know about this drama
The fact that this video is nine months old and comparing it to your newer videos, you've improved so much !! I can't wait to see your future art as well ✨️
As a mutual of hers for a long time before all of this, even someone I looked up to. She was super funny and someone very sweet to talk to. My perspective on her just changed so much, one of her comments states "is that a reason to humiliate them" then she says "yes". Idk how she can js say that without a single thought since she has HUGE platform with many young fans I feel like she is influencing them negatively. Bashing the young artist saying that they "traced" is so wrong when she should've done more digging of the speedpaint. Her recent Tiktok annoyed me so much, as she could've talked about the situation more "maturely" instead of making fun of the artist? She's just making more trouble for herself atp its the clout is all she cares about and I don't think she'll apologize at all. On the other hand the young artist shouldn't of posted the art because it was "heavily referenced" since it was against riri's boundaries but they did NOT deserve any hate. 😪😪😪😪
She claims she made jelly art style when she didn’t so she can’t be mad ngtl when she doesn’t own the style it’s been around for years now so anyone can use the style
Thanks for explaining this I thought that everyone was stealing riri’s art I didnt know much about the story until this because I didn’t have TikTok or searched and digged deeper into the topic.
i feel like i've seen an art style similar to jellyfish maybe in mid-10's or so... pinterest was really into cutesy-looking art back then. obviously trends changed over time, but the point is, pretty blurry-eyed girls were always around, even before riri. literally everything was always around, dunno why art community gets offended over someone drawing somewhat similarly to each other every goddamn week. honestly, criticising riri feels like scolding a child that didn't yet grow out of their egotistical phase. like, the sense of importance is here, but still no understanding that they're only that important to themselves. it's unfortunate that it's not only them who is affected by their immaturity this time. i hope everyone involved is doing alright.
I think there was millions of ways Riri couldve addressed this and she chose one of the most toxic, but the way she doesnt even care about her fans going after a 14 year old girl thats almost half her age? there is no Suprise seeing how toxic the art community is. And im not promoting the toxic ways of the art community and just waiting for another disaster but most people love waiting for the next drama and harassing whoever they want just for the fun of it, i dont even think they care what side is more toxic.
My friend told me about the drama and I in my opinion riri should have contacted her privately instead of causing drama but since she told someone to off themselves I feel like she wouldn't do that
I kinda look at this from an art history perspective. For hundreds of years it was just so common to copy works of masters you admired and wanted to learn from. Course these didn't get sold back then, but they were out there and got shown. And that's talking about exact copies, not just referencing. Tho, when an artist would do this, they did state that very clearly and mentioned the work it was taken from/ inspired by. It's like Monet saying no one can paint impressionism cus he does it imo. I understand having boundaries, but you can't really upload your art to a platform where everyone can see it and even create detailed how-to videos and then get mad when young teens that look up to you go ahead and copy or reference your work. That being said, I totally understand your pov as well
Woo Woo my idea got used >:D Edit After watching the video: Honestly I feel horrible for the kid but what you said is 100% correct, they really shouldn't have done what they did, I understand referencing art, hell I do it, but if someone asks for it to be not heavily referenced, you should respect that. Riri took it far to out of hand and seriously needs some sense knocked into her.
Thank there are some artists on RUclips who are mature and tell someone not to go for the this person and means every single word And keep insulting people, even though they sound innocent most of the time (But this is my opinion so everyone doesn’t have to think the same thing I think because this is just my opinion)
As someone who's actually watched the entire video of Dolliestra that appeared on my fyp, I found it baffling how so many in the comments could accuse her of saying stuff to the point that I gave a timestamp in a comment that summarized her entire video for those who didn't watch it all the way through, I had no idea that was a swarm of toxic stans who were commenting that, I actually thought it was due to ignorance.
And to the young artist that got harrassed let us hope that their doing right and in the future will look back on this experience to properly coordinate their own fanbase to make sure no kid goes through that.
She says people steal. Which causes people to hate on the people that accuse. And zzanycrafts isn't the one stealing, purrika does. She steals people's happiness.
Honestly if art tiktok didn't put such a high standard towards popular artists I don't think this would've happened, I hope people start to understand that if you have a lot of followers you can't just accuse/harass others. I hate art tiktok so much, I saw a lot of videos about 'stealing' problematic artists artstyles and just making fun of them, like I feel like people just use problematic behaviour as an excuse to be open about their hatred towards someone.
She claims she made jelly art style when she didn’t so she can’t be mad ngtl when she doesn’t own the style it’s been around for years now so anyone can use the style
I’m a dolliestra fan and I hate to see her getting hated on just because someone was *wrongly* upset over a fair critique that wasn’t even about her!
Same! I watch Dolliestra too and it was so sad to look at the comments.
That video was the first of hers that I’d ever watched and I thought it was very well made and she explained things perfectly. It felt like everyone in the comments didn’t even watch five minutes of the video, everyone completely misinterpreted what she said despite her making her position clear multiple times. It was very discouraging to see.

probably riri's annoyance led to the accusations
I know her being 18 doesnt mean shes automatically mature, but she would atleast be a little more mature then someone whos basically a pre teen

i honestly agree, as much as i love the style, sometimes it is hard to tell who made what jelly art piece. which of course doesn't make the style bad, but it should be kept in mind in situations like this.

Esp the thing about “I don’t regret it, I would bash them again and again idc” proves that she just wants attention 💀
Edit: a person in a tik tok made a good point and i fr think riri probably saw that a 13 year old could do what she did and felt threatened 😭 so she decided to send her fans after that person out of sheer jealousy.

Even in comments people take TOO FAR trying to defend whatever opinion they have

oii!! im early : D!!
The tiktok art community is an absolute hell scape😭😭
idk if riri had a right to be that mad in the first place. the only thing similar about the pieces is the mouth, and the pink eyes.
Mhm. I think if she truly believed they traced, she had a right to be upset, but should’ve stayed calm and just asked for a speed paint.
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING. she cant tell people not to heavily reference when she literally teaches people how to draw the way she does
Riri, to me sounds like a massive hypocrite tbh
When do you Reference
something you don’t completely copying from everything that’s drawn from it , you use it as a spec to draw your own work not copy or Trace it! What if your school taught you to do that then somethings wrong🥱 and age do not condone activity
or behavioral things 😍 if you copy someone’s artwork you’re going to take accountability for that you guys trying to take up for the 13y this you condoning her tracing other peoples art and she’s gonna keep doing it until you guys tell her to stop😂😂

Yeah she claims it’s hers but it’s not so technically she is claiming a art style that doesn’t belong to her which is theft
“Dumpster fire of chaos” I’ve never heard anything more accurate in my life.
I can't really say "they should be held accountable" when they probably don't even know what accountable means 😭😭 (those accounts are often buried deep into the algorithm so usually the art community doesn't find them, fortunately & thankfully)
Art theft in general though is genuinely infuriating & upsetting and is rightfully hated.
Speak your mind ! !
@@hwljpg E X A C T L Y 👏👏👏
YES OMG say it louder for the ones at the back!!

That’s why I was thinking like she’s not making it really clear that she doesn’t want people with her art

LMAO I JUST GOT TO THE ART STYLE THEFT PART WHILE WRITING THIS god that's such a stupid argument, especially with the knowledge that they made TUTORIALS FOR THE STYLE THAT PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSEDLY "STEALING"

She claims she made jelly art style when she didn’t so she can’t be mad ngtl when she doesn’t own the style it’s been around for years now so anyone can use the style
Ok, you are a really understanding person. you sound young and i am amazed if you are actually a minor, if you are a minor then your parents raised you well. as much as Puririkaaa was really mean it seems she did have a reason to be upset.
i love ur artsyle / art
Same
I think that people CAN create/own an art style, but they shouldn’t have total control over it.
I can't wait to see your future art as well ✨️
Unrelated but your art style is SO good 😍😍
thank you!!
@@BreDrawz ofc!
came for the drama stayed for the speedpaint
She claims she made jelly art style when she didn’t so she can’t be mad ngtl when she doesn’t own the style it’s been around for years now so anyone can use the style
jelly art style is like those houses that look the exact same in a good way i guess
Not me who was focus on watching the speed draw😍😍
I’ve seen people use this situation as an excuse to harass artists with similar art styles, and it’s extremely disappointing to see 😔
Thanks for explaining this I thought that everyone was stealing riri’s art
I didnt know much about the story until this because I didn’t have TikTok or searched and digged deeper into the topic.
Waah i love your art style sm 😭
thank you!
i feel like i've seen an art style similar to jellyfish maybe in mid-10's or so... pinterest was really into cutesy-looking art back then. obviously trends changed over time, but the point is, pretty blurry-eyed girls were always around, even before riri. literally everything was always around, dunno why art community gets offended over someone drawing somewhat similarly to each other every goddamn week.
honestly, criticising riri feels like scolding a child that didn't yet grow out of their egotistical phase. like, the sense of importance is here, but still no understanding that they're only that important to themselves. it's unfortunate that it's not only them who is affected by their immaturity this time. i hope everyone involved is doing alright.
Off topic, I LOVE THE SPEED PAINT ITS SOOO GOOD!!
THANK YOUU ❤️🖤
OMGG!! Love the drawing you made in the background ❤️💕
Am i the only one who is watching he art?😭😭😍
no:3
Love your vids! I love how passionate you are but so well spoken . Can’t wait for the next one !
The lips on the art in the background I instantly thought it was Nene from Pico's school or whatever it's called.
My friend told me about the drama and I in my opinion riri should have contacted her privately instead of causing drama but since she told someone to off themselves I feel like she wouldn't do that
off topic but, your artstyle is so scrumptious!! ❤😽 I LOVE THE ART
why is nobodys talking about how good bre’s art is???
That being said, I totally understand your pov as well
Bruv why is anyone on her side... She doxxed a 13 yr old
no hate I’m genuinely just curious, is there any proof of this?
People think riri sent a hate mob because riri said in a live that she would purposefully send one again if she wanted to
This just reminds me of the muasuya art drama that happened awhile ago lol
*Listens to story* *realizes she’s drawing big mama from rottmnt*
Woo Woo my idea got used >:D
Edit After watching the video: Honestly I feel horrible for the kid but what you said is 100% correct, they really shouldn't have done what they did, I understand referencing art, hell I do it, but if someone asks for it to be not heavily referenced, you should respect that. Riri took it far to out of hand and seriously needs some sense knocked into her.
You’re literally my favorite art commentary RUclipsr💜
This means sm to me thank you
HELP I USE THE SAME BRUSH AS YOU IM SHOOK LOLLL/pos I love speedpaints they make me wanna draw
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR INCLUDING MY FANRT FOR YOU IN YOUR VIDEO!!!! I AM VERY THANKFUL TO BE RECOGNIZED BY YOU!!!!
hi, i’m just here to tell you your art is so pretty!
Thank you!
My friend was friends with riri on everskies, she saw that riri told someone to off themselves because of something they didn’t like
Thank there are some artists on RUclips who are mature and tell someone not to go for the this person and means every single word
And keep insulting people, even though they sound innocent most of the time
(But this is my opinion so everyone doesn’t have to think the same thing I think because this is just my opinion)
Fun fact your brain only fully develops at 24
Its literally so funny that she posted tutorials and her brushes and gets so overly offended that a CHILD looks up to her and uses them
Me during this video:
Listen: 10%
Look at the speed paint:90%
Why is your voice so..inspiring???❤️
Ive been reading her username as purika this whole time
As someone who's actually watched the entire video of Dolliestra that appeared on my fyp, I found it baffling how so many in the comments could accuse her of saying stuff to the point that I gave a timestamp in a comment that summarized her entire video for those who didn't watch it all the way through, I had no idea that was a swarm of toxic stans who were commenting that, I actually thought it was due to ignorance.
And to the young artist that got harrassed let us hope that their doing right and in the future will look back on this experience to properly coordinate their own fanbase to make sure no kid goes through that.
the acc isnt banned i know the person who drew and they didnt even know that heavily ref riri isnt allowed sorry for my bad grammer
ah, everyone was saying the account was taken down, i tried finding the user but i couldnt so i assumed it was true. thank you for informing me.
@@BreDrawz they changed names
@@Monster40412 ohhhh that makes sense
UR ART IS SO DELICIOUS!!! 😍🌹✨
not me casually watching the art cuz im late in this issue 😋🔥
Wth is happening in the art community 🥲🥲 I'm still watching mlp speed paint😭😭😭😭
She says people steal. Which causes people to hate on the people that accuse. And zzanycrafts isn't the one stealing, purrika does. She steals people's happiness.
Wait wait wait doesn’t Zzany steal? If I use google lens on some of her vid clearly I find it stolen
@@Mizuki_Sno-33-62_Channelyeah
Honestly if art tiktok didn't put such a high standard towards popular artists I don't think this would've happened, I hope people start to understand that if you have a lot of followers you can't just accuse/harass others.
I hate art tiktok so much, I saw a lot of videos about 'stealing' problematic artists artstyles and just making fun of them, like I feel like people just use problematic behaviour as an excuse to be open about their hatred towards someone.
She claims she made jelly art style when she didn’t so she can’t be mad ngtl when she doesn’t own the style it’s been around for years now so anyone can use the style
@@TheLast-Winter_Blossom its not even a style, art styles are things like abstract and surrealism not just the way someone draws
@@frogblehfrog143 it’s been around for years she claims she made it so im telling others she can’t hate when she doesn’t own it
You are an inspiration to me
I'm glad I can be an inspiration ❤️🖤
