Nursing Home staff took my 93 year old mother's BP abd kept telling her that she was fine.
She died two days later in the hospital from sepsis with a severe UTI, and a bedsore!

Wow! I learned a lot from this video. It is so easy to overlook small detail's in a patient's status. I will be using this knowledge in my clinicals. Thank you! Also, I love your dress! ~ Cristina

@@empowern Hello, I've been diagnosed with folliculitis since 2013 caused by staphylococcus infection. I also had furnacles & fear that I may have Sepsis. I heard that this is a uncurable deadly disease & I'm afraid to die from this. I don't know what to do.

Can you make a video on how to juggle 9 elderly pts with multiple health concerns without missing something and having them go down? Also, how to do 9 hours of charting that has to be done in a twelve hour shift, while watching labs, investigating lab results, reconciling medications and performing a good assessment? I work on a lockdown Alzheimer's and dementia unit. We have two hours to pass out meds for 9, and some take twenty meds. All charting is in triplicate, with BIRP notes and if not done leads to a write up.
