This is a great example of a record company missing a hit song and making it a B side. The group People went to #1 with it three years later and really didn't change it. Amazing that he can still hit the high note on the hook.
Never HEARD of the group PEOPLE.
Nor am I aware of their recording of this INCREDIBLE SONG.
