My God! I missed them... Didn't know they were there. I would've flown all the way from Spokane to hear and see them. I'm dying. ... This really hurts.. Dying because I thought they were in England. I have always loved them.
This song is one that I associate with tornadoes. In May of 1965, there was a tornado warning, so we all were in the basement waiting it out, when one of my sisters put this song on her record player. So, whenever there are tornado warnings, I play this song on my device and plug in the earbuds...
People! They apparently trademarked their name with the exclamation point. When People! released this song a lot of us thought they were trying to sound like The Beatles (like The Knickerbockers apparently had done). We had no idea it was a cover of a Zombies song.
Good Tune 😎 👍 For First Time I Heard This The Zombies' Original Version 😎 This Is Very Famous Tune For Many Japanese People 😁 Because This Was Covered By Japanese Band " The Carnabeats " In 1967🙆 Japanese Title Was " Sukisa Sukisa Sukisa " 😄 Thanks To Upload 😃 Thank You So Much 🙇
dynamic live production, hits the high notes with power.I always believed that they sounded to much like the beatles, but with less melody. This stopped the recognition they deserved.
Colin still sounds great. Is that Rod Argent on keyboards? Sounds like it. As someone else pointed out there is a really good cover of this song from garage band the People circa late sixties. Saw them live couple of times in Dallas.
I just saw the Zombies in Fort Lauderdale on April 3 of 2022. They are sounding better than ever! Colin‘s voice is unbelievable!
One of my favorite songs from the amazing group the zombies

I dont know why but this band sounds like The Doors for me
I think Rod and Ray were cut from the same Classical/Jazz cloth.
