I live in Ishapore(Ichhapur) in WB and I went to Gorumara national park for my college excursion in 2022 and I stayed in Neora valley. The place is verry beautiful. When someone will travel through the NH31 in between the national park he/she will enjoy it. Love from West Bengal.

A little disappointing to see that you didn't give any details about Similipal national park of Odisha which comes under Similipal Biosphere Reserve, the 2nd largest biosphere reserve in Asia.
Well, This national park was established in 1980. It was formally designated a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in May 1973. It is also a protected area which comes under the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve Network. Simlipal National Park is also part of Mayurbhanj Elephant Reserve which includes Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, Hadgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, and Similipal Tiger Reserve.

Most people are confused and do not know the difference between a national park and a wildlife sanctuary. They are not aware that there is a hierarchy ....highest is biosphere reserve and lowest is zoological park (zoo).
