A very interesting and informative video; thanks for sharing with us. I'm amazed at what seems to be a reverse-order meal service: on every trans-Atlantic flight I've had (economy class in all cases on Delta, United, Air France, as well as SAS), the first service was a full hot dinner, with a breakfast (varying size, depending on the line) served shortly before landing. I first flew SAS in the mid-80s and it saddens me to see the way it seems to be steadily going downhill.
Agreed. They are slowly but surely deteriorating, they had a terrible stroke last year that cancelled my flight on the same route, and also filed for bankruptcy last year. Wouldn’t be too surprised to see SAS go away in a few years, and I’ve flown on them quite a few times, on both their A340 and A330, as well as this wet leased service.

literally have the same flight in a few days and im literally so scared for it bc of the delays and cancellations they keep making, and the thing is its only hifly and not sas, the switched back to sas for a few days to repair the flight but they switched back to hifly again and already todays flight got canceled. like hifly really has to do smth abt it bc all the flights r getting canceled and delayed

Always wondered what the service was like on this weird leased route. Sad that this jet has some unappealing features, that too with some horrible catering! Combined with the fact that this exact plane will be leased for Chicago-Copenhagen through November…

The sandwich was the veg option, the people by me who got the mystery meat “ham and cheese” that looked equally nasty lol
If you bought upgraded seats on the original SAS flight, do they honor those on the wet-leased HiFly flight?
For business yes, but since they have no premium economy on HiFly, they put you on either the Stockholm or Oslo flight operated by an actual SAS aircraft
I have the same flight in 23 hours. Seems like the awful food and IFE are from SAS itself 😂 - creating a nice combination. Hope they give free drinks to diamond members.
Really? I didn’t know the SAS IFE was that terrible. And I thought it was HiFly food as well lol.
@@Random_Eebs Flown SAS intercontinental quite a few times, and never had any bad experience. This is for sure HiFly food and HiFly IFE system, and not SAS. Surely I see a huge difference between SAS`s "normal" flight and this HiFly experience.
