All the Roman Empire or the Pharisees had to do is provide Jesus' bones or body from the tomb and it would've all been over. Our faith would have been completely futile (1 Corinthians 15:17-18), every Christians Bible says this. Not a one of the apostles (except Judas who killed himself before Jesus' crucifixion), who saw Jesus with their own eyes, recanted their statement. All of them and more were brutally killed for the truth. It's not just the Bible (which is a confirmed historical document), but many first century historians confirm the Bible and the fact that Jesus died and rose again. Therefore, based on everything Jesus taught and the apostles taught, the Old Testament and the entire Bible is confirmed. That's how we know. (There's a lot more about this subject, Saul of Tarsus (Paul), who wrote most of the New Testament was a Pharisee in high esteem who persecuted the early Church (who followed Jesus), converted to Christianity after seeing the risen Jesus. He also is a proven historical figure. I don't know, if you admire true knowledge then you'd admire the historic truth of the Bible. I hope this maybe helps. Jesus confirms the Bible and vise-versa.

Anyways, Pontius Pilate was the governor of Judaea at the time when Jesus' ministry started and he ordered Jesus' crucifixion. Also, the High Priest at the time Caiaphas, is a noted and proven Historic figure who operated in the jewish temple. These are facts and to deny them would deny history and would just be foolish. Of course I want you to believe in Jesus and inherit salvation, but at this point I'm just trying to get you to understand, there is proof that he at least walked the earth as a human. Therefore, since his bones were never found and we have dated eyewitness accounts, our faith is justified. We have George Washington's teeth, we have fossils dated before Jesus. Do you not believe George Washington existed? Or the Dinosaurs? How could it have been so hard for the most powerful empire in the world at that time, to get his bones and stop the uproar? All they had to do was provide the body and they didn't. So, because Jesus taught the Bible, we know that we can trust the Bible (by worldly evidence), I haven't even gone to the point of my personal relationship with God and how he's confirmed himself. If you could just read the Bible and do your homework on it you would come to at least a more knowledgable conclusion then just cheap jokes. Love the show, couple things though. You went to Athens and settled on a thought about Greek people. But if you were two travel about 1 hour in any direction out of that city, you will find things to be more along the lines of what you would recognize. Now, you boys did some looking into Zeus and Greek philosophers, why not jump a couple hundred years forward and just take a sneak peak into Orthodox Christianity. I believe it was from when they were running Duck Commander out of their house and Jase and Willie answered the phone. They called "Phil" and "Kay" to the phone, instead of "Mom" and "Dad" to sound more professional. It just became habit after.
The Apostle Paul started to present Jesus to the Greeks the way Peter had to the Jews in Acts two. However the difference was that the Jews having been tough the Old testament had been taught there whole lives about a Redeemer. But the Greeks had no clue who Jesus was they were like the indoctrinated collegates of today who don't have a clue about creation let alone about a Redeemer Jesus Christ. So Paul being led by the Holy Ghost immediately switched gears and started to take what they did know or believe and taught them about the unknown God. That's how we have to reach many young people today because so many today don't know about Jesus today other then a name used when something bad happens.

I think Jase might have been right, the guy might have lived at the pool, because he did say that he couldn't get anyone to put him in the pool to get him healed, so how could he get someone to bring him to the pool, but not put him in it?
I’m sure many rubix cubes were demolished after weeks/months of people trying to solve them. I understand Jase solving it and shooting it. My thought is if the guy at the pool had been brought there all those years, why didn’t they move him closer to the pool to give him a chance? There were allot of healings that were never talked about, they were only concentrated on Jesus breaking some law of theirs!
The Apostle Paul started to present Jesus to the Greeks the way Peter had to the Jews in Acts two. However the difference was that the Jews having been tough the Old testament had been taught there whole lives about a Redeemer. But the Greeks had no clue who Jesus was they were like the indoctrinated collegates of today who don't have a clue about creation let alone about a Redeemer Jesus Christ. So Paul being led by the Holy Ghost immediately switched gears and started to take what they did know or believe and taught them about the unknown God. That's how we have to reach many young people today because so many today don't know about Jesus today other then a name used when something bad happens.

Speaking of William Wallace I just found out a few months ago that we r descendants of the William Wallace my great uncle was named William Wallace as well which he has been gone for several years now but we r slowly learning more about our ancestry which comes from Scotland and Ireland as well

I think Jase might have been right, the guy might have lived at the pool, because he did say that he couldn't get anyone to put him in the pool to get him healed, so how could he get someone to bring him to the pool, but not put him in it?

I’m sure many rubix cubes were demolished after weeks/months of people trying to solve them. I understand Jase solving it and shooting it. My thought is if the guy at the pool had been brought there all those years, why didn’t they move him closer to the pool to give him a chance? I know it was God’s plan for him to be healed the way it happened. Just sayin
