I saw that on the news too! It was a man trying to open the drain on his pond and the pipe wasn't even wide enough for his shoulders to get through. AND HE WENT THROUGH IT! And he lived to talk about it! I've seen two separate guys going through this and living through it. Sure taught me a lesson! Those were a couple of amazing stories. This one is too but thankfully nobody went through this pipe! I wish you'd filmed it though because I was looking forward to seeing it go down. Great job Phil. You're a wise man. A very intelligent man and a Godly man. PRAISE GOD.
I don’t personally identify as a Christian but I value the teachings of the Bible and the importance it has in society and culture. The way these people deny the Lord and His lessons really speaks on that too. They definitely need to at least hear Jesus out in their lives, I believe He could really save them and society as a whole.
Jesus spoke more about hell than he did heaven, sounds like more fire and brimstone preaching to me, but today’s preachers are more about favour of their congregations and the bigger their congregation the more they are less likely to preach it shotgun barrel straight, they don’t want to offend or lose favour nor face any confrontation, love the podcast hope they keep coming
yup. I have had a spanish speaking channel and few really listen or subscribe. I teach truth only. Bible study style. Now I have one in english and trying to do that as well but yt limits me to ten minutes (touch the kitty icon and you will see what you say still seems true in it so far )
What happened to trapping Beaver for their pelts. How much does a beaver pelt go for these days it's a shame what PETA did to the trapping industry. I remember word raccoons were going for 25-30 bucks

I feel so bad for atheists. It is extremely hard for them to humble themselves to God. But actually, I don’t believe there are atheists. I believe an atheist is a person the doesn’t WANT there to be a God, not so much that they DONT believe in God.

I've drove over a beaver dam one time in Ontario while Bear hunting. The beaver dam was about 100 yards long 40 feet wide and about 4' tall. Beavers are amazing critters.

There is different numbers thrown out there About prophecies fulfilled. One says 2,000 has been fulfilled with 500 left to be filled in the future. Specific Messianic prophecies fulfilled, one says 44, while another says 55. I think 55. There is a graph chart that shows 4,700 times how the Bible connects to itself. It's sickening to me and many fellow brothers and sisters in Christ seeing the lost and abhorrent of being devoid of faith in our Republic. If only they would read the word of God, read the Gospel of salvation in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, yet it's as the Lord said whoever loves the world, the love of the father is not in them. No wonder Gen-Z my generation go into desperation in thinking they have to do something on their own to reap a fruitful life, yet they want to live the fleeting moments of the world, and are oblivious to what our Lord Jesus Christ did for man on the cross with his righteous blood credited with the glory of his grace. Beavers are as amazing as they are aggravating. Phil is right - they can dam up with the best of them. I watched a documentary on them once; cameras were set up inside their dams in mid-winter in icy cold temps - but inside the dam where they raise their young, it’s a nice, dry, cozy, warm 82F temp.

I enjoyed listening to you guys again. The question was asked does God love everyone? Like you I would always say yes, of course. But, I kept running into a couple of scripture which put that answer in question. For instance, this passage. Romans 9:10-14 KJV And not only this ; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; [11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) [12] It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. [13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. [14] What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. Here, we have Esau and Jacob. It is written, in the scriptures, Jacob have I loved, and esau have I hated. Is there unrighteousness with God?, God forbid! It seems that God has created vessels of Honor, and vessels to destruction! Romans 9:15-18 KJV For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [16] So then it is not of him (men) that willeth, nor of him that runneth (works), but of God that sheweth mercy. [17] For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up (how was Pharoah raised?)(a heathen), that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Based upon a choice made before we were ever in the womb. So, salvation is not by choice of men, but by the conviciting power of God through the Holy Spirit. Now, it is God's will for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. So, is this a contradiction? No! Note these words in Jeremiah! Jeremiah 1:5 KJV Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. God knew us long before we were even in the womb. God knew Esau and Jacob before they were ever in the womb as well! There must have been a choice in time past, in the spirit realm, where all men made a choice for God. It seems to me, we are all on this planet to test that choice. To see if we are sincere. Many can say they love God, yet never talk to him, never follow him, all must be put under the influence of Satan, to be tempted of him to see if we will stay true to God, or join the rebellion of Satan against God. Even Christ had to be tempted of Satan. They who prove In this life that they truly love God by keeping the faith and love for Him unto the end, (endure to the end), shall be saved. Men who are appointed to salvation will accept it. Men who have chosen against God in the past are given another opportunity to serve God. To repent and live for God. Sadly, many, as esau, have made their choice. Many may never accept God. God may even harden their hearts against him to fulfill his purpose. Where do I get this? Jesus, the son of man, our example, existed prior to being born in Bethlehem. He even spoke in the Old Testament, very clearly in this verse. Psalm 2:7-8 KJV I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. [8] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. The I, the me, the thou, the thee, is the Son of God speaking. He is telling us what his Father said to him. When did he say these words? It was before he arrived on this planet. The verse in Jeremiah 1:5 is also a prophecy about Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 1:5 KJV Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Figures and allegories are used to reveal Christ. Jesus said this. Luke 24:44 KJV And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Here we see Christ made a choice long before he walked on this world. Hebrews 1:9 KJV Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Because Christ loved righteousness and hated iniquity he was exalted above his fellows. A choice was made in time past. So, Christ was hidden in these scriptures in a allegorical way. Jeremiah was a type of Christ, in a figurative way. Jesus the son of man was known before he was ever in the womb! This shows us all men were known before the womb. We all were either loved or hated based upon our choice in eternity past. Did we love righteousness and hate iniquity? Finally, Jesus answered this question. Luke 8:4-18 KJV And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: [5] A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. [6] And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. [7] And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. [8] And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. [9] And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? [10] And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. We have over 12 acres of woods and have had issues with beavers recently. Jase would love the explosives we have to use and would certainly invite him to help us and our little boys remove them. They cause a bad mess for us. We try to relocate but they are mean critters when you take down their giant dam. Thank ya'll for this podcast it has certainly helped me and my family get closer to the Lord.
so if you believe in a sovereign God He has to be sovereign in salvation as well. What exactly is evil about God offering a gift of salvation to whom He so chooses? We are all sinners deserving hell, He chose a people before the world began to be saved. Better question would be why does God save anyone. My grandfather born in 1902 and passed in 88 when he was still in the mountains a huge American chestnut, i think ,was dying in the 20s story goes he cut it which is what he did top them before cutting. That tree was 20foot across with bark like steps he said you could walk right up it .

Regarding cleaning out the pipe, around here, they use a gas powered pump hooked to a hose and length of iron pipe pinched into a nozzle to pump down net stakes and pier pilings. Maybe you could use a water jet like that to break open the beaver clogs in your pipe.
I lost a Childhood Friend and his Son who were Seining Fish in a Stock Pond--it had rained and flooded the Lake and the Under-water overflow pipe for lake sucked them into its Vortex and they both Drowned. This ole River Rat country boy was an excellent swimmer but water flow is a Powerful thing...
I had an idea to help stop the beavers from building in the pipes. What you can do is get a large sheet of metal and build some rails on each side of the pipe that the metal can fit into this keeps it from moving back and forth. A locking mechanism will keep it from moving up and down. This way you can raise and lower the sheet of metal down, which will block anything from getting into the pipe. I would also suggest a cheap winch that can raise and lower it depending on what size of metal you use and how heave it is.
Jesus had quite a few hail fire and brimstone sermon , they were brief. This is most evident when Jesus bound a cord into a whip and beat the merchants out of the temple court. It is written- My house is a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves. Or when he saw a fig tree by the road, seeing no figs , he said , let fruit grow on you again. And the tree withered. When he came to Lazarus’s grave, he groaned ( an angry sigh).

I'm thinking he is referring to his teachings. You can "live on food alone" but no meal is complete without "Bread". Its a great metaphor for life. You can live and chose your own way. but your life will not be complete and worth anything without me.henceforth bread of life. No meal being complete without bread. I agree with Jase. Trees are heavier than we realize. They can kill you. A swinging tree can take half your head off! or your whole head. my husband described something he saw online. It was so horrific, he couldnt show it to me. Id never sleep again. I was thinking about that, when you were talking about this before. I was hoping you wouldnt go the route of the tree.🌱💙

I don’t personally identify as a Christian but I value the teachings of the Bible and the importance it has in society and culture. The way these people deny the Lord and His lessons really speaks on that too. They definitely need to at least hear Jesus out in their lives, I believe He could really save them and society as a whole.

Jesus spoke more about hell than he did heaven, sounds like more fire and brimstone preaching to me, but today’s preachers are more about favour of their congregations and the bigger their congregation the more they are less likely to preach it shotgun barrel straight, they don’t want to offend or lose favour nor face any confrontation, love the podcast hope they keep coming

I feel so bad for atheists. It is extremely hard for them to humble themselves to God. But actually, I don’t believe there are atheists. I believe an atheist is a person the doesn’t WANT there to be a God, not so much that they DONT believe in God.

I've drove over a beaver dam one time in Ontario while Bear hunting. The beaver dam was about 100 yards long 40 feet wide and about 4' tall. Beavers are amazing critters.

There is different numbers thrown out there
About prophecies fulfilled. One says 2,000 has been fulfilled with 500 left to be filled in the future. Specific Messianic prophecies fulfilled, one says 44, while another says 55. I think 55. It's sickening to me and many fellow brothers and sisters in Christ seeing the lost and abhorrent of being devoid of faith in our Republic. If only they would read the word of God, read the Gospel of salvation in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, yet it's as the Lord said whoever loves the world, the love of the father is not in them. No wonder Gen-Z my generation go into desperation in thinking they have to do something on their own to reap a fruitful life, yet they want to live the fleeting moments of the world, and are oblivious to what our Lord Jesus Christ did for man on the cross with his righteous blood credited with the glory of his grace. Beavers are as amazing as they are aggravating. Phil is right - they can dam up with the best of them. I watched a documentary on them once; cameras were set up inside their dams in mid-winter in icy cold temps - but inside the dam where they raise their young, it’s a nice, dry, cozy, warm 82F temp.

The question was asked does God love everyone? Like you I would always say yes, of course. But, I kept running into a couple of scripture which put that answer in question.
For instance, this passage.
Romans 9:10-14 KJV
And not only this ; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; [11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) [12] It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. [13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. [14] What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
Here, we have Esau and Jacob. It is written, in the scriptures, Jacob have I loved, and esau have I hated.
Is there unrighteousness with God?, God forbid!
It seems that God has created vessels of Honor, and vessels to destruction!
Romans 9:15-18 KJV
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [16] So then it is not of him (men) that willeth, nor of him that runneth (works), but of God that sheweth mercy. [17] For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up (how was Pharoah raised?)(a heathen), that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. [18] Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.(we see everyone was created for a purpose).
Some he gave a hardness of heart. A heart which hates God. And to others a heart for God.
Now, we all know that even the hardest heart can be melted and reshaped into a good heart by God. However, it is the Holy Ghost which draws all men to him.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Here we are told about vessels of honor and vessels of destruction.
Romans 9:19-23 KJV
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? [20] Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? [21] Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? [22] What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: [23] And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
We were all predestined in this life. Based upon a choice made before we were ever in the womb.
So, salvation is not by choice of men, but by the conviciting power of God through the Holy Spirit.
Now, it is God's will for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
So, is this a contradiction? No!
Note these words in Jeremiah!
Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
God knew us long before we were even in the womb.
God knew Esau and Jacob before they were ever in the womb as well!
There must have been a choice in time past, in the spirit realm, where all men made a choice for God.
It seems to me, we are all on this planet to test that choice. To see if we are sincere. Many can say they love God, yet never talk to him, never follow him, all must be put under the influence of Satan, to be tempted of him to see if we will stay true to God, or join the rebellion of Satan against God. Even Christ had to be tempted of Satan.
They who prove In this life that they truly love God by keeping the faith and love for Him unto the end, (endure to the end), shall be saved.
Men who are appointed to salvation will accept it. Men who have chosen against God in the past are given another opportunity to serve God. To repent and live for God. Sadly, many, as esau, have made their choice. Many may never accept God. God may even harden their hearts against him to fulfill his purpose.
Where do I get this?
Jesus, the son of man, our example, existed prior to being born in Bethlehem.
He even spoke in the Old Testament, very clearly in this verse.
Psalm 2:7-8 KJV
I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. [8] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
The I, the me, the thou, the thee, is the Son of God speaking. He is telling us what his Father said to him.
When did he say these words? It was before he arrived on this planet.
The verse in Jeremiah 1:5 is also a prophecy about Jesus Christ.

Figures and allegories are used to reveal Christ. Jesus said this.
Luke 24:44 KJV
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Here we see Christ made a choice long before he walked on this world.
Hebrews 1:9 KJV
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Because Christ loved righteousness and hated iniquity he was exalted above his fellows.
A choice was made in time past.
So, Christ was hidden in these scriptures in a allegorical way. Jeremiah was a type of Christ, in a figurative way.
Jesus the son of man was known before he was ever in the womb!
This shows us all men were known before the womb. We all were either loved or hated based upon our choice in eternity past. Did we love righteousness and hate iniquity?
Finally, Jesus answered this question.

And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: [5] A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. [6] And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. [7] And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. [8] And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. [10] And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Many will have the opportunity to hear the truth, but they who hardened their heart against God may never receive the word, but choke it to destroy it.
Even some receive it for awhile, until the test and trial got difficult and they turned away.
This is the purpose of life.it is to prepare us for the after life, eternity. The New Heaven, the New Earth, the New Jerusalem. All things restored.

We have over 12 acres of woods and have had issues with beavers recently. Jase would love the explosives we have to use and would certainly invite him to help us and our little boys remove them. They cause a bad mess for us. We try to relocate but they are mean critters when you take down their giant dam. Thank ya'll for this podcast it has certainly helped me and my family get closer to the Lord.

We are all sinners deserving hell, He chose a people before the world began to be saved. Better question would be why does God save anyone. Very few people have a correct understanding of what calvinism teaches. It teaches God saves sinners , All God no man.

My grandfather born in 1902 and passed in 88 when he was still in the mountains a huge American chestnut, i think ,was dying in the 20s story goes he cut it which is what he did top them before cutting. That tree was 20foot across with bark like steps he said you could walk right up it .
I agree with Phil, they also took the scriptures out of our Government schools here in Australia, so as not to offend people. Now we have no respect being taught in the classroom.

Regarding cleaning out the pipe, around here, they use a gas powered pump hooked to a hose and length of iron pipe pinched into a nozzle to pump down net stakes and pier pilings. Maybe you could use a water jet like that to break open the beaver clogs in your pipe.
I lost a Childhood Friend and his Son who were Seining Fish in a Stock Pond--it had rained and flooded the Lake and the Under-water overflow pipe for lake sucked them into its Vortex and they both Drowned. This ole River Rat country boy was an excellent swimmer but water flow is a Powerful thing...

I had an idea to help stop the beavers from building in the pipes. What you can do is get a large sheet of metal and build some rails on each side of the pipe that the metal can fit into this keeps it from moving back and forth. A locking mechanism will keep it from moving up and down. This way you can raise and lower the sheet of metal down, which will block anything from getting into the pipe. I would also suggest a cheap winch that can raise and lower it depending on what size of metal you use and how heave it is.

Jesus had quite a few hail fire and brimstone sermon , they were brief. This is most evident when Jesus bound a cord into a whip and beat the merchants out of the temple court. It is written- My house is a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves. Or when he saw a fig tree by the road, seeing no figs , he said , let fruit grow on you again. And the tree withered. When he came to Lazarus’s grave, he groaned ( an angry sigh).

I agree with Jase. Trees are heavier than we realize. They can kill you. A swinging tree can take half your head off! or your whole head. my husband described something he saw online. It was so horrific, he couldnt show it to me. Id never sleep again. I was thinking about that, when you were talking about this before. I was hoping you wouldnt go the route of the tree.🌱💙
