"Let me show you how a real man walks across a flaccid cord." Whoever wrote this line is a genius. It is not only a perfect line, but it is also absolutely perfect for Dwight.
Gary Sandhu Exactly. It's not just the word genius getting thrown around a lot, but also everyone in the comment section of most videos nowadays seems to be an expert on screen writing and plot lines and line deliveries. It's almost as if they were hired/paid experts to critique and comment and make the production look brilliant... but nah, that's too farfetched, isn't it?
Given that the warehouse workers have gone through 8-9 years of Michael's and the rest of the Office's shenanigans they probably just opt to ignore them until they go away unless they mess with them (like with Clark when he was forced to spy on them).

With a bit more mass (the printer) or a longer moment arm (the table legs) the torque force required to flip himself upside down would have been quite a bit higher. He almost pulled it off.
It goes to show you how much Dwight cares for Pam that he trusts her to help him in his daredevil act. Dwight could have just as easily asked any of his other coworkers, people closer to him in weight, but he trusted Pam the most. Sure, Dwight is asking Pam to take a huge risk but it's not a risk he's not taking himself. I don't think he'd ask Pam if he didn't think it was safe.
It also goes to show that Pam doesn't care about Dwight or Phyllis' life considering she doesn't try to stop Dwight. What Dwight thinks is safe is not at all reliable, he's the one who keeps weaponry hidden around the office, accidentally fired a gun near Andy, tried helping Micheal steal the Utika copier, crashed into a pole while driving wrecklessly, shot Stanley with tranquilizing darts and dropped him down the stairs, started a fake wild fire causing panic, ran into a "real" building fire to get Micheal's phone, and wants to set up hand desantizing stations. This stunt was extremely unsafe, proven by him later almost falling.
Yeah Dwight 100% believes that it will go off without a hitch, so he truly doesn't believe he's putting Pam in any danger at all. In his mind she would make it fail safe.
@@nalgene247 Yep, as a human, you can balance yourself in a way that inanimate objects cannot. In the unlikely scenario in which Pam had agreed, I think it would have worked
From the moment Creed told Michael, “let’s fight this, like the old days,” and convinced him to fire Devin instead, in season two, we knew he was going to be a great background character 🤣
That little story Creed gave, has like the same energy as the short poems I read in my English class in high school. Super confusing, and supposedly has some deep hidden meaning with layers.
The way Creed sees things is really a lesson to us. Our day can be so different depending on how we look at it. That's what I love about the office, they can be so funny but at the same time they have life lessons in a way that isn't obvious and cringe.
