i've followed the Beatles from their first concert in Milwaukee in 64 - closely - playing in bands- living and breathing Beatles for almost 50 years now. Now I'm 70 and very objective with these tribute bands around - Liverpool Legends, Fab Four and others. I've always been very fussy about details - character accuracy. This band however supersedes my need for character accuracy. They don't attempt to look the part facially. But their harmonies and accuracy of music takes me past the need for character mimicking. A right handed Paul would normally shut me off - But this guy - way too tall, and looking nothing like Paul -blew me away. His quality of bass playing (no lead guitar on bass) was superb and his voice and range combined with his pure blending with the John voice is probably the best I've heard - and that includes those other tribute bands who are very very good. Their orchestration is superb and the lead player has a style very very close to Georges which is much more than just playing the notes. He sits a bit too much in the background and is an excellent lead guitarist with the cleanest Hard Days Nite solo roll of any I've heard. I will follow these guys closely - and need to learn more about them and their history. Gavin in the Fab Four is as close to George as they come - but this group is as close as I've heard to the sound.
