    Okay, weird rumor I've heard but I urge you to look into it for a video. If you stick a mixed pack of IR18s and W12s onto an oval, there's a way to gently lock an IR18 to the back of a W12 and they'll be bonkers fast basically bump drafting together, and somehow the IR18 doesn't overheat still. I think I recall someone saying it works at Charlotte or Kansas, but I bet there are plenty of other tracks it works at too if the rumor is true.

I would think if F1 added the 500 to the schedule it would look like McLaren running Alonso at the 500 except all 20 drivers would try their luck, with the existing 24-28 indycars and the 20 F1 drivers would make for one hell of a bump day. And great video it was cool how the F1 cars created pack racing like the nascars at Daytona, indycar used to have races like that but 220 mph with 25 cars nose to tail was really dangerous.

    • @KayJblue
      @KayJblue Год назад +3

      I think all racing has the same skill cap; for example driving an Indy on the limit of grip is just as hard as F1 or GT3 on the limit of grip. And driving the Red Bull Ring is just as hard as Daytona on the limit.
      That being said, the skill needed to be able to simply drive on an oval is much lower. Even though it’s extremely difficult when competing at the top, the average driver would be significantly more competitive (relatively) on an oval than on a traditional “f1 track” such as spa.

    • @harveyknguyen

      @@KayJblue not really, you also have to account that oval races usually have pack racing, so while you are right that it's technically less difficult to race on an oval, they're far less forgiving also considering that you're either on the track or in the wall with no in between

      It did, WDC was different back in the day. Very few European teams chose to compete at Indy while it was part of the WDC. This led to a few funny things. One of which was that, because Indy has 200 laps, Bill Vukovich held the record for most F1 laps led until just a few weeks ago when Lewis passed him.

      This is iRacing, one of the AAA games developed by Apple themselves. You need a Mac to run it though.

    Normal human beings would be able to afford attending the race and F1 could expand massively in the US since they currently have no races within like 1000 miles of the northern states.

      F1 has 3 races in the US. 😂 more than any other country ever.

      @@187Blondie Italy had 3 races literally 2 years ago.😂 You have no clue what you're talking about.
      The US has the size and population of Europe. Literally every European race is closer to Silverstone than Vegas is to Miami.
      It also allows races to be on at a time that is accessible for everyone outside near-european timezones including Australia, Asia, and South America.

    That looks like a normal F1 open lobby. I couldn't race in that the game is giving the AI far too much grip and aggression I mean why would that car just cut you up like that and put you in the wall. And having the AI cars go 3 wide in perfect formation through the laps is so unrealistic.
