What year is this car.. I have 2015 Evogue .. is there any auxillary battery? or it only 1 primary battery? thanks
@@danangbudisantoso3446 hello - we have two of these evoque’s and yes they both have an auxiliary battery 🪫 this is a 2012 and the auxiliary battery is inside the car under the dashboard, the other is a 2014 model and the auxiliary battery is inside the engine compartment close to the wipers. Thank you so much for this step by step video. I followed it and t it was perfect. I placed the new battery in and somehow lost the small nut for the negative post. It started and I drove it across the parking lot to my condo, then was unable to retrieve the nut. Bought a new one but when touched the negative post their was a sparking sound and now battery is dead again!! Any thoughts??? Thanks
Get a new nut and let it run until the battery charges

@@AllAboutCarzz exactly.. used a jumper from a neighbor, got it started then ran into my O’Reilley’s Auto store. The hex nut was size 10 (5/16?) and after 8 different trials found one and locked that puppy down. Thankfully I didn’t short out the battery! Again you saved the day!!!

There is no reson to dismount the stabilization bar. Just take out the filter housing and slide the battery out.

Do you know where the secondary battery is on this one. Iv seen 10 different videos with a bunch of different locations. Don’t see it in any places shown yet.
This is a 2012 and I changed it before, it is under the glovebox. I might need to do a video, thanks
@@AllAboutCarzz i was working on a 2016 evoque. After a minute of searching I found out there isn’t even a secondary battery. The dash display that kept bringing up low battery was because you have to program the main battery when swapping. Everything I read kept leading me to a secondary battery.
@@jaytek5680 Hello please make sure you double check because my friend have one 2014 pure plus and the 2nd battery is between the fire wall and engine in the engine compartment. She had to replace hers recently. J
@@AllAboutCarzz on the 2016 it was just a relearn. Didn’t have a secondary. Your info was a huge help tho. I knew were to look if it would’ve had a one.

Thank you @eduardotuve. No problem 😉 at all with blocking of radio or clock. I had that problem with Honda, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
