Great finds! If you enjoy the Weller and don’t want to kill it quickly, try Maker’s Mark Cask Strength. Same mash bill as Weller and Pappy, but definitely more findable and cost effective. Always have one on my shelf. Cheers brother! 🥃🤝🏾🔥

Love the KC 12 and 107. Antique 107 is virtually unavailable in Korea. The only bottle I’ve seen for sale here is $250. Excellent pickups, good sir!

Those are three great bottles.
$300 is slightly steep but okay if you wanted all three. Secondary on Weller 107 has dropped to $110-120 so they charged secondary on that in a 3 bottle bundle which kinda sucks. That's why it was still there. Anyone trying to charge $200 for KC 12 is nuts. KC 12 is $60-80 depending on your market. In my state I can find it for $55-60 every day of the week. JM is $90-110, but one store I know always has a case of it sitting out at $90. Hasn't been a day over the past 2 years where I haven't seen it on shelf at this spot for $90.
The regular Joseph Magnus is 95% of the flavor profile of the Cigar Blends (at least compared to the current batches). I'd rather buy Joseph Magnus for $90 in my area than pay the $240 MSRP that Cigar Blend is in my state. We have one of the higher state MSRPs on Cigar Blend for some odd reason. I like both, but I probably won't spend up for a Cigar Blend ever again.
KC 12 is just a solid pour and great to have around. I actually prefer KC 9 Store picks over it, but if you don't want the full 120 proof then the 12 is the second best bottle the produce (I have the 9, 12, 15, and 18).
Weller 107 is like the most unassuming pour in my glass. It's good, a bit non-descript, and crushable. Really, it's just a very well balanced pour and the proof is right in the sweet spot. My go-to is full proof but I don't think full proof is as balanced as the 107. Full proof can have some rough edges that are smoothed out with the lower proof of 107.

Congratulations on the score. At the end of the day, everybody has different budgets. From what I hear, TN is a pricy state for bourbon hunting even though y’all are right next to KY.

In NC you can’t find Buffalo Trace anywhere. But Knob Creek 12 sits on the shelves everywhere 12 bottles deep.

would like to say a note about brands...all that's all that matters is you like something, but Calmet like bullet & blade & bow are mostly MGP from Indiana. Bullet had a fake story for a long time, said they was from this town in Kentucky a fake story for a long awhile, said they was from this town in Kentucky and someone went there and ask for them and found that they didn't have a distillery there. most have come clean about being a MGP product by now but...think Bullet is source from Heaven Hills now? can't be sure. but HH is Kentucky so...if its good and the price is right BUY IT!!
I'm tired of the Buffalo Trace products price gouging...I only buy HH and Beam products now days, just my choice. So Cheers & Enjoy!! And keep sipping :)

$300 definitely isn't the best but it certainly isn't the worst either. Also, I am pretty sure your area as a whole tends to have higher prices across the board than what I am used to. I can usually find any of those bottles between $60-$70 around me with only a little more looking required for the 107. At the end of the day though they are all great pours and if you are happy with the price don't let anyone tell you differently. I have spent some dumb money on bottles I really wanted and probably will again in the future. Enjoy.

Congrats. I picked up a bottle of 107, JDTBR, and ER SP 1.75L for $350 recently and it was a new store to me. A little higher but time is money. I'm started purchasing some bottles online for stuff I cant find locally. Not bad at all. Cheers and congrats one the bottles!👏

Buffalo trace bourbon is allocated in the state of Ohio. We are at least to the point where when it drops it stays around for a couple days but we are limited to one a day

Congrats! In my area of California the Magnus is 100.00, KC 12yr 65.00, and when you can find it the 107 is 120.00 or more so 285.00 plus tax so just over 300.00 can’t complain about that:)! Cheers!

idk what u paid.. but all are good. Weller is about 100 secondary, knob creek 12 is always available local for 60ish bux and the joseph magnus is no where near as good as cigar blend but its good and around 90-100 bux. Paid a lil premium on them but if you were 300 out the door then i wouldn't be mad at that especially to snag that weller 107

Buffalo Trace is allocated in Alabama. You can only get it on the allocation drop days and it sells out in less than an hour.

I enjoyed your video. Weller 107 is good. I must say though that some of the prices at that store were the highest I have ever seen. Michters Bourbon and Sour Mash was $58. My local store sells it for $45 every day. Buffalo Trace should be around $28 or less. The Woodford Double Oak was $61. My local store sells it for $49 every day! Some of the other prices were average but those were crazy prices!

Buffalo Trace Bourbon could have been considered allocated like in 2022 but it seems like its more plentiful in areas in country now. I live in Colorado it was hit or miss in alot of stores. Now its way easy to find there is a store near me where it is $24 just got a store pick today for $39. Cant wait to open it 😃🦬🥃
