@@farkom_official Raising is fairly easy. Drop owls in front of baby or keep close to mom and it feeds like that. Could also use maewing for added security and maybe have a deaodon on passive heal. All great ways to raise gacha babies 😊
Pro tip for the upcoming winter wonderland! Gacha Claus needs to be around berry bushes in order to trade you its items and continue eating coal and mistletoe. Also it does need 1 of each and not 10 or more so don't waste them!
@@fadedfalcon7280 They can't but you can access their inventory and place the mistletoe and coal inside for instant crystal with either random armor/tool or skin/chibi
Even thought Gachas were nerfed, I have found that if my gacha gets to over 200% on crafting skill I get quite a bit of decent Mastercraft items and I still do get an occasional ascendant item. On default settings in SP.
Things you forgot or did not know (they are not mentioned in the video): 1. you can also use owl pellets to tame gachas (it's my favorite method, i don't want to waste tek foundations or take an eternity using stone or other resources) 2. low lvl gachas are preferred by most people because they are easier to clone. Then you just pump the crafting skill to 160% (most people that use gachas have lvl 1 or lvl 5 originals that they clone afterwards) 3. you said that for tamed gachas, you need to feed them Snow owl Pellets + some other garbage in order to start their production. This garbage can be war maps, or stone... But some of the better "garbage" items that you did not mention are: Fiber (because it stacks to 300 and it's much lighter) or hide/thatch (because you end up having too much anyway while you farm, and they are light) My favorite food for tamed gachas is ----> use a bronto to get thousands of berries at once. Move the berries to an iguanodon inventory. Interact with the iguanodon and tell it to seed the berries. Then use these seeds as gacha food (same as Fiber, they are light, easy to get and can stack a lot) PS: Another important note: you said gachas wander and gather resources. Same goes for using a saddle and mounting it. Gachas were the first dino to be able to harvest anything as a herbivore (followed later by magmasaurs and tek stryders): stone, flint, thatch, wood, etc. Another important note: you said that 2 gachas of the same gender next to each other are sad. You forgot to mention that a couple of the 2 different genders next to each other increase happiness. Another important note: Gachas stats are pretty weak, keep them protected. Most lvl 150 gachas in the wild can't even defend themselves from a couple of mediocre raptors. Another important note: X-mas gachas cannot be tamed. MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: Gachas are the only way you can PICK UP a Tusoteuthis Egg! Just use a tamed gacha, put a saddle on it, go in the water next to the tuso egg and press C (on PC) to pick up items from its front. (WARNING: make sure the gacha has other stuff in its inventory before picking up the egg, or it WILL eat it)
@@ArkBobOp no worries. I learned most dino hidden abilities and information by playing on official. Few things surprise me now. However I used to play on PC and PVE (i dont own any console, i am a PC peasant :D )

Fantastic break down of the Gachas Syn. it’s always nice to hear quantifiable advice and suggestions to be able to better our play styles. Appreciate it as always and look forward to your next ark for dummies video, always helpful!
Another thing to feed gachas are berry seeds. Simply gather a load of Berry’s either through farm or berry gatherer, convert them with the iguanodon into seeds, and item cap the Gacha. They will need to eat a little bit more than they would for stone however, I find berry seeds much easier to get in vast abundance than stone. Hope this helps anyone
if you use the dino storage mod, you can keep an iguanadon in it and load the berries in. it will auto seed them all in a few seconds. I feed my Gachas this way
Ark for dummies is by far the best Educational Ark Series, I always linked the first one to my friends when they would ask "so how do mutations work, how do I get different color dinos" And now I have another one to link for Gacha's
"I just use stones." Thank you! Everyone always judge when I use stones. It's easy to get with doedic and Gachas still gives me a nice loot. I don't feel so bad about feeding stones to my Gachas anymore.
@@vlg_gaming8380 I feel even better. I've been playing pve unofficial servers which are from community and I've been hearing a lot about plant y. Best creature in ARK it saves up your time on mining rare resources. Honestly Syntac should showcase additionally how to set up a Gacha farm in this video.
Another tip about the Gacha is to use it as a achatina paste farm. Just place them over some tamed achatinas, and it will gather the paste. If you have enough achatinas, the gacha wont have time to make crystals because its picking up paste. One of my primary uses for the gacha
I like using Plant Z and Plant Y traps to feed them. I usually tame a lot of Dung Beetles for Oil and I get a lot of fertilizers passively. So by adding Plant Z and Plant Y to feed the Gachas, it balances the economy of my base. Not to mention the aesthetic it brings.
The advantage of using plant y traps is that gachas will prefer to eat materials < weapons < armor < structures, the game recognizes plant y traps as structures and you dont need to craft them, they produce passively

The Gacha is the best overall resource gatherer in the game. Can gather meat, fiber, wood, thatch, flint, and especially stone in high amounts. Also has insane weight and weight reduction for wood and stone.

What impact does Wool from Ovis have on Gachas?
Any plans on covering the S+ structures specific to Gachas (crystal cracker and item aggregator, Gavager, Vivarium) or how Dino Storage v2 interacts with them?
Wool is about the same as stone. Raw resource.
Not big on following and subs but man do I watch a lot of what you produce on RUclips. Well done and thank you for the amazing content 🙏🏼

Otherwise, you can also tame the gotcha with snow, owl pellets 😊
Good stuff, forgot to mention achatina paste farming with either tamed or even wild snails though.
Also on gen2 as a rare spawn on gacha mountain they get attacked and eaten incredibly quickly but in a jam its pretty ez to glitch them into a skiff and carry them off to safety when on official pve.
