At first i was wondering why u are using gloves and thought u are just extra careful, but now i regret not wearing some. Tiny scratches everywhere.. :D
What themperture is your soldering devicetip?
The trip computer is still failing afterwork as in the vid. Any idea what causes this problem?!
In the video the ribbon cable between the two PCBs wasn't reflowed. I did that along with reseating the small ribbon cable for the trip computer display. There are two small screws and two clips holding the screen onto the PCB.
Where do I find that grease like flux? All I’ve seen is paste.

Srs light turned on after this, any tips?
That always happens from disconnecting DIM without unhooking battery first. That code is permanent so you will need to clear with VIDA, or your local dealer can clear it for you
@@EnthusiasticEnthusiest okay, thanks. Before i contact the local dealership to reset it, is it possible that i did something wrong while soldering DIM? I only touched the ones as you did, and the dash works perfectly now (apart from the yellow SRS light).
@@velhosaab1538 nope you did nothing wrong. SRS warning will always come up from disconnecting then reconnecting the DIM
Great video! What did you use to remove the coating on the IC connectors?
He used IPA by the looks of things. I'm trying to find out if the smd LEDs are 0603's but I can't see him answering anybodies question

What is that grease you ad to the circuit board?
Flux
What problem this fix slove?
Multiple lights showing dry solder, joints ect.
This is cleaning the joints plus pcb from years of function, you still have to know what you are doing plus what to look for.
Some parts are refitted.
